I’m gonna read this book again. This is a very revelational book and also educational. I’ve always enjoyed what Apostle Giles writes because I feel like I get a sermon and gems to ponder. Never a quick read for me. This author is probably the first author that I have to sit and take time to read and ingest as a believer.

I received a complimentary copy of Joshua Giles nonfictional title, “When God Speaks” via Library Thing through their publisher or publicist. Upon reading the material, I was skimming through the first couple of chapters until I reached page 82 in chapter 7 on Genetic Recording. This is a rare topic that is written by a prophetic teacher and lead teacher, or author writing spiritual literature. Therefore, I read this carefully and openly.  


“DNA…we call it our bloodline. Leviticus 17:11 says that the life of the flesh is in the blood. Blood is the flow and source of life. It is the real battlefield of the enemy. Whenever he wants to attack a family, he targets the bloodline by creating patterns and cycles of abuse, destructive thinking, or sickness that are passed down from generation to generation. When the enemy wants to influence people to cause them to be born with desires, beliefs, or human behaviors are against the Word of God, he targets the blood.” I had to sit on this passage to delve into things we are currently facing or seeing in the world now. We are seeing patterns of abuse, destructive or distorted thinking, and ailments that see no human cure for or answers from medical doctors. He further shares that the devil longed to stop God from coming through the bloodline; evil men to kill that generation. I think about David, where Christ bloodline traditionally came from, out of scandal. Humankind comes through the womb, passing of the blood! This is the living word! He examines the Nephil/lim in Genesis 6 which was a part of this evil scheme to destroy Yahweh’s (God) bloodline with corruption, manipulation, and giants to destroy God-like human beings.  


There are other valuable teachings via Bible such as spiritual gifts, prophecy through currency, world events, and expectations in relation to the last days which many believers see this coming to the forefront now.  


I highlighted my copy and/or underline valuable wisdom, and nuggets will need in my own experience and teaching(s).

When God Speaks is the fifth book I have read by Apostle Giles and one of my favourites! In it, the reader learns how to hear from God for themself. It also provides an excellent means to "spot check" for those who have been growing in the prophetic for some time. When God Speaks goes on to include necessary information about what is coming to this nation (USA) and indeed MANY nations. But it's not just doom and gloom, and it is most certainly NOT fearmongering! Apostle Giles provides the reader with the words of wisdom God has given him to prepare for what is coming. And even if what will happen doesn't happen to you, your preparation can still serve to assist someone else in need. There are indeed some heavy subjects covered in this book. The days ARE getting darker. Yet When God Speaks shows God's heart for His people and people in general, and highlights the beautiful, helpful things that are taking place and will take place as well. I would recommend this book to everyone! If you want to be in the know, get this book! If you want to prepare against the future, get this book! And if you just want to learn how to hear God better, most certainly get this book!

Great book by brother Giles. God's plans are amazing, and through current difficulties and those to come He is with us. I especially enjoyed the last chapter because it made me reflect and soul search to be available and ready to be a vessel for The Lord Jesus.

Eye Opening!!!

I truly believe that we are living in the middle of what Jesus called in Matthew 24:8 “The beginnings of sorrows” This book has confirmed that we are indeed there. This book is a roadmap to where we are headed and it is an alarm clock to the Church to wake up because our redemption draws near. I would recommend this book to everyone.

God use this brother to proclaim the future and prepare for what’s to come. In my 52 years living on this earth, I have seen so much evilness here in America and around the world. great insight in the next season of life

I love this book, its pages are both insightful and revelatory. Its pages reveals the heart of GOD, for such a time as this. Indeed when God speaks, truly reveals the hear of Christ for his people and his church. The prophetic revelations are truly upon us even now, indeed it’s a life altering piece i recommend everyone to read.
