Forbidden Love!!
Murdock and Ashanti's relationship started off as a get back one-night stand that developed into so much more. Ashanti's waffling on leaving the relationship she was in with Murdock's rival really irritated me. After things become dangerous, the decision is taken out of Ashanti's hands. After three years, Murdock and Ashanti finally have a chance to have the loving relationship that they crave. However, her ex, Elijah, is determined to make their lives a living hell. I was glad when he was beat inside and outside of the ring. I was glad that Murdock's family welcomed Ashanti into the family despite how they first got together. Ashanti deserved the happiness she found with Murdock, and I was routing for them from the very beginning. Now, I can't wait to find out about Achilles and Zuri.

The only acceptable knockout, (key the music 🎶 Teddy-Bear 🧸🤭…Blue Notes & Solo🥰‼️) is/was a “looks like another love TKO”…🤷🏾♀️‼️Thereafter, I enjoyed “Every Knockout Counts” book 2 of the B.O.S family of athletes series. However, some of the content & subject matter warranted a mature and or trigger warning. More so, it was a challenge to navigate through the physical/emotional abuse, misogynistic behaviors, manipulation, taunts, disrespectful slander etc. directed towards Ashanti and or women in general. …why do we continuously condition ourselves to endure such savagery, (rhetorical)😡⁉️Nonetheless, this book was still a good read, Ashanti & Murdock deserved each other’s devotion, companionship, love, family & a HEA‼️

Book 2 of Love, Passion and Sports series was simply amazing!!
Murdock and Ashanti’s story was well written and beautifully told. Their forbidden love was everything and so much more! And to watch them go through everything they did to get to the love they both deserved was extremely satisfying.
The Wixx brothers and the way they love their women and family make me want to find that kind of love for myself and I can’t wait for book 3!!

Yes yes yes….Murdock baby he came through for Ashanti in more ways than one and I loved that. Elijah was the worst kind of man child, just pure despicable and I was so glad that he got dealt with. Great job my love 😍

Whew this was a roller coaster ride of reading. So many different emotions with Murdock and Ashanti relationship. The themes of love, family and loyalty were handled so well in this book.

I cannot get around in my mind, how she stayed as long as she did. She had an option with Murder.
