Deep in the bowels of The Immortal Tribunal’s secret headquarters inside a mountain in the Swiss Alps, she’s bound, without magic, and cut off from her bloodmate Caspian and her coven—Alistair, Phineas, and Stirling.
Will they experiment on her? Simply execute her? Lock her up and throw away the key? She’s not willing to stick around and find out.
With only her wits, courage, and nerve, she is determined to escape her cell and return to Caspian—and the cause she believes in more passionately than ever.
She finds two allies in the most unlikely of the very wolf Shifter who brought her mage-cuffed and kicking to her mountain prison in the first place, and her grandfather, Elias Sparrow, the powerful fae male responsible for Maeve’s very existence.
Along the way she discovers new depths to her abilities, a renewed determination to overthrow the Tribunal once and for all, and maybe even a whole different kind of bond with a certain tall, growly, sexy alpha wolf.
Maeve Sparrow is no ordinary immortal, and with every passing day, it seems like the future of all immortals—and maybe human civilization itself—is bound to Maeve’s fate.
She’s just not sure if she’s equal to the task. Good thing the men at her side believe in her, even when she doubts herself.

This story just keeps getting better and better. If you thought the previous books were intense and HOT, you haven't seen anything yet...
Picking up where Blood Rising left off, Blood Bonds hits the ground running and will leave you utterly consumed. I easily devoured this story in a single sitting.
Filled with magic, action, twists, and a whole lot of heat, this book packs one heck of a punch and will leave you desperate for more. So much happens in this book and I refuse to spoil any of it for you. All I can tell you is to buckle up, you're in for one heck of a ride. This is one fated mates, reverse harem that I can't enough of and I for one can't wait to find out what happens next.
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
Book 3 continues Mauve’s story now being held prisoner by the Tribunal, cuffed so she can’t use her powers to escape. She must find away. I enjoy Jasinda and Jacks writing style. This is a different trope for them and I would definitely read more of this series.
This book picks up right whet the last one ended. Mauve is a prisoner of the tribunal and she needs to find a way out.
This series keeps getting better and better. This book is hotter and more action packed than book 2!!
I don’t want to give too much away, but if you haven’t already figured it out this is an RH (reverse harem) PNR (paranormal romance). If this bothers you then this is not the series for you. But know that you are missing out on an amazing story that is sexy, full of amazing characters, and features an amazing plot!
This book ends on a minor cliffhanger, and it’s not as hard to accept as the last one.
There is so much more to this story and these characters that I cannot wait to find out! Book 4 cannot come fast enough!! I need it!!
What a rollercoaster! So much happens in this installment and I def don't want to spoil anything..but expect the unexpected and the seemingly impossible! Maeve is becoming an incredible woman and the way she starts to take control of her power is an amazing sight! Can't wait for the next part!
Jack and Jasinda Wilder kicked it up a notch with this one. Get your fan and a tall glass of ice water because the spice level is out of this world. I’m not normally a fan of fantasy, but this series has definitely shifted my opinion. The action and passion is nonstop. I was totally able to detach from reality and immerse myself in Maves world with her panty melting mates. Maeve is one kick-A heroin who knows how to take charge and draw all kinds to her. I didn’t want this book to end. I’m so ready for the completion of this series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 3rd book in the Blood Heir book. Each book in this PRN series must be read in order. Mauve's running from the Tribunal has finally caught up with her. Now she's being held prisoner and not able to use her powers to escape. Mauve makes another friend in The Dreaming that could help her. PNR isn't my normal go-to, but I am enjoying this series. Can't wait for the next book.
Again - the narration was done using Virtual Voice - so - same comment about that as with the first 2 books.
This book takes things in a different direction. At the end of the last book, we meet another character - wolf shifter Caleb - an Alpha Prime. He takes Maeve into custody and delivers her to those who are after her. It becomes apparent that there is more to Caleb than we are initially told. Maeve has willingly surrendered herself and most of the book centers around her being held prisoner in the Mountain.
There are events that are difficult and at times frustrating. Honestly though, I felt like there was TOO much time spent in this circumstance and it really slowed down the feeling and the pace of the storyline.
There is also an event at the end of this book that came as a surprise to me. I mean, not a real surprise because it was pretty much telegraphed from the beginning, but a surprise in the fact that I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It felt a bit TOO contrived and I don't know, I really wasn't comfortable with it. So, there is that.
But, that particular storyline wraps up and at the end of this book we have the gang back together as they try to figure out where to go from here. One thing I will say is that I GET the fact that Maeve has several mates, but man, there is a time and a place for certain things. Seriously, maybe it was because the narration read certain events in a rote and fairly mechanical way, but it just felt like TOO much. She spends most of this book naked (which is actually understandable due to certain magical events) but when the men arrive again it just got to the point where I was thinking, "you DO realize that people are around….oh, and you are running for your life, right?" It was a bit much.....
So, I've gone this far - might as well see what happens next.....
Maeve and the boys have to fight the establishment in the mountain fortress. Maeve mates with Caleb the wolf shifter and finds a way to escape through the dreaming. They have to get back in to free Caleb’s pack. They and Caleb are all close to death because they’ve been separated for so long. Then after that there are others to free - her bio father the vampire and two other holdings like her who have been locked up their entire lives and are damn near feral. As she makes her way to the big shitbag in charge, she meets other immortals and they all join her side. Caspian and the coven arrive to help. She breaks through wards and fights the good fights and finally gets to the zirae the boss. There’s a big fight but he escapes. He’s like a million years old. Then the tribunal assholes arrive and she gives them a big speech. She kills two of them because they’re jerks and her grandfather swears to help her and get the others on board. Finally the coven and the pack and Maeve and her boys travel by helicopter to Alastair’s England estate where she blood mates with all of her boys and then she gets a wicked cool tattoo. The pack busts in on the orgy to show a news story that shows all hell has broken lose around the world with mortals vs immortals at war and then at the end they claim victory in honor of Maeve and she’s all “oh shit.”

I read the first book in this series, not knowing it was series at first. I just thought it was a standalone single book. Boy, I'm so happy I was wrong about that! If I know a book is a series or will become one, I like to wait until all the books in the series are out so I can binge read it, so I waited until the final book in this series was available in paperback so I could binge read them. Maeve can kick some series butt in this series, so can her coven and pack! If you haven't read this series yet, you should! The adventure and heat between the characters sizzles with a slow burn and then engulfs the characters!
Seriously just read these books! Yes it’s very detailed and sometimes it’s hard to keep up but just take your time and soak it up. The fight scenes are a lot to take in. Sometimes confusing but just keep reading without distraction to fully immerse yourself into the world. The steamy sex scenes are f****** fabulous to read as well. Seriously read alone and without distractions! Just do it!! Can’t wait for book 4!!
Im enjoying the storyline for the most part but the lack of editing really gets to me. A lot of things don’t make sense, the actual bones of the story are often swept aside for sex scenes. Maeve burnt all the clothes off the Elders and in the next paragraph described what one of the women was wearing, only in the next paragraph for them to demand clothing. There are many little mistakes littered throughout this book as there were the first two and it really pulls you out of the story. I noted quite a few spelling mistakes also.
From the moment I read the first book in this series I was addicted. Mauve is an enigma. She doesn't realize the power she holds. She is shocked at some of the things she is able to do. I absolutely love her, Caspian, Stirling and Alistair. There are so many components in this story. I was either emotional or on the edge of my seat. Jasinda Wilder's books have such depth. The characters are so well defined, so relatable and so intriguing. There are the villains of course and the people who work for them. I found myself rooting for Mauve and the four vampires she loves. I hope everyone takes time to read this phenomenal series.
