The Gresham Chronicles are my absolute favorite series. I love the era in which they are written, when men are gentlemen and the women are Ladies.

I enjoyed these books. The interwoven character developement and story lines kept me involved. Nothing earth shaking, just stories about good people trying to be better. I will say I found some characters more interesting and just read their plot lines all the way through, wanting to make sure I knew how their narrative ended. Predictable and pleasant.

Downloaded the first book in this series for free off Amazon and liked the story enough to buy the next 2. I enjoy reading books from Christian authors because I never have to worry about the content, and that's definitely the case with this author. These books are easy and enjoyable.

This was a wonderful series. It is a slow moving story but the characters are so well developed that it makes the everything better.

The first book was a delight to skim-read! The second took ages to get to the interesting parts. Maggie Smith as Octavia Kingston would’ve been perfect; I can see Dominic West as Seth Langdon, too. It was quite the matchmaker’s heaven with all the cute couples developing throughout.

Loved these books, safe to say I love this writer, have finished 7 of her books recently, looking for more.
I love Victorian England, I love her characters, I love the strong women in her books.
