Salene Burton wanted a drink; she also wanted an hour of peace.
What she got was a black eye and a dead bartender on her hands. Unfortunately this bartender was a dirtbag who just happened to have a lot of dirtbag friends.
And they all want to get their own back.
So now, Salene has no choice but to take them all on, and put her life in the hands on a man who was paid $40,000 to kill her.
It's going to be a very long day.

I didn't entirely know what to expect when I picked up Tequila Bartender. I was pleasantly surprised by how different to the norm the story is. I loved how things unfolded, from the intriguing opening, to the events that led up to it. The characters were well thought out, and the dialogue was VERY believable. Often times, when non-Americans try to slip into American dialect, it can sometimes come across stilted and awkward. Tanner portrayed the small Texan town brilliantly and I'm looking forward to reading anything else she has to offer!
