Axel and Star

Nothing like family pressure and then we add in the holidays and things are so stressful that you can just see the sweat beading off foreheads. Star had told her family that she had a boyfriend for the past year and now she was in a bind when she was going home for Christmas without the boyfriend. That’s when her boss, Axel steps in to help her out. The only thing is that Axel isn’t pretending and now all he has to do is convince Star that he’s the real deal.

This storyline was so heartwarming and gave me the warm fuzzies. This was another amazing book by this author.

Trazendo O Motoqueiro Para Casa

Esse livro não estava na minha lista, mas achei a sinopse interessante e acabei pegando pra ler. No geral foi bom, mas duas coisas me incomodaram: Axel estava desde o começo falando - e provando - que não estava fingindo nada naquele relacionamento, que pra ele era real e eles estavam mesmo juntos. Ele foi fofo e perfeito o livro todo. Mesmo assim, Star toda hora se questionava se aquilo era real ou fingimento. Ele literalmente falou que não era fingimento, ele provou de todas as formas que era real, mas ela ainda ficou nessa o livro todo. Aí no final ela diz que ela não fingiu nem por um momento e que esperava que ele também não. Caramba, o que o cara passou o livro todo dizendo? Esse ponto aí da Star foi bem cansativo e fez o livro cair pra um nota 4. Então veio o epílogo e não gostei de um detalhe (não direi pra evitar spoiler). Aí fechei a história com nota 3 mesmo. Não que ela tenha sido ruim. Teve momentos divertidos e românticos, a família dela é maravilhosa e os dois juntos são a coisa mais linda. Mas as coisas que me incomodou acabaram estragando um pouco a minha leitura e, por isso, não curti tanto quanto poderia ter curtido. Mas valeu a leitura. Um Axel na minha vida era tudo o que eu queria de natal. Oh, lá na minha humilde residência!

I loved this holiday storyline from start to finish. Ms. Travers gave us a wonderful read that I know this reader will be reading again and again. Star has been working for Axel as his office manager for 5 years and secretly Axel has wished for more, but she’s a great employee and doesn’t want to mess that up. When overhears Star on the phone trying to get an ex to go home with her for Christmas (to get her family off her back) he offers to be her fake date for the holidays. Star is skeptical but agrees. But what starts as a fake date turns into so much more for Axel. Not only is he getting a shot at the woman he’s lusted after for years, but a holiday weekend like one he’s ever seen before.

Heartfelt, Funny, Sexy, Sassy, Romantic and so much more. Grab this quick oh so special holiday read up asap, you won’t be sorry you did so.

Star made up a boyfriend a year ago to get her mom off her back, now it's Christmas time and Mom is demanding the boyfriend come with. Not only that, Mom wants details.
Showing frustration at work has caught the eye of Axel, her boss. He wants to know what is going on and when he finds out, he volunteers as tribute.
Star can't believe it and has no clue what to do but to go along with it.
Ensuing shenanigans at Christmas and Axel telling her it's not pretend has Star unsure where things stand. A Christmas wish, miracle, or heart break?
Winter knocks it out of the park bringing home a heartfelt Christmas story that make you want more.

Star is almost 30 and single. She has been lying to her family about a boyfriend. What is she to do when her family expects him to come home with her over Christmas holiday?
Axel owns a construction company and notices that his assistant is not herself lately. When he discovers that she needs a boyfriend stat, he offers to fill in for her.
I loved this story. Both main characters have been ignoring their feelings for each other and this gives them an opportunity to explore what could be between them.
Axle has always longed for a family, since he grew up an in orphanage. He gets to experience the chaos which is a family holiday. Such a sweet read with spice just in time for the holiday.

This was adorable, a lovely little holiday story! Star is in a tight spot. Her mom is a worrier and last Christmas she was stressed about Star being alone. So she fibbed and said she had a boyfriend but didn't go home at Christmas. Axel is Star's boss. He overhears some phone conversations and he offers to be her fake boyfriend for the holiday. It quickly escalates into Axel saying he isn't pretending. This was so romantic, so sweet and incredibly heartwarming. I read this in one sitting, it was just full of Christmas feels, so fun!

This author does it again with another fantastic holiday story. I really liked the concept and the storyline within this one. In my opinion Axel and Star were perfection. These two just work so well together. I just love the way it was paced, flowing nicely from start to finish. All the feels in this one. I was totally vibing with this book like it felt realistic, like something that really happens. I really do like that this started out as fake dating but then reality hits and things are not as such. I recommend reading this it won't disappoint and it is so worth it.

4 1/2 stars. I really enjoyed this story. Star wanted her family to leave her alone so she made up a boyfriend. Now she needed to bring him home for the holidays. Her boss, Axel, overheard the conversation and found an opportunity to spend personal time with Star. She was reluctant but desperate so she accepted. There had been secret feelings between them, and now they came out and brought them closer. I loved how Axel treated Star from the beginning and their journey to acceptance of their feelings.

Axel and Star

This was such a great holiday read. I love Winter Travers and basically anything her brilliant mind comes up with so I was excited for another book from her. This did not disappoint. It was a really cute fake dating/forbidden romance. Trying to shelter one’s self from the pity of singledom is exhausting. When your hot boss decides to help you out, who would say no. Star gets to live the dream of having a hot diner boyfriend to bring home for Christmas. He also just so happens to be her boss. Navigating through feelings and juggling family this story was really adorable and one I can totally see reading again in the future!

Here Comes Santa

I loved this story, because of the banter between Axel and Star. You could tell that they already had a good friendship . that friendship was also a work relationship, even though they both wanted more. More than either one recognized at first.
I love the way that the story flowed and how well the characters matched. The story gave off a wonderful Christmas vibe and gave all the feels of a loving family holiday.
I would recommend this book to my friends.

Axel & Star

This was a cute, quick holiday read. Star & Axel have had crushes on each other for years, but never crossed professional boundaries. When Star needs a "fake" boyfriend for her family Christmas, Axel immediately recognizes this golden opportunity & spends the time making sure it doesn't stay fake for very long! 😄

Another great story. Star needs a fake boyfriend to bring home for Christmas. He boss Axle decided he would go as her boyfriend. Axle has been in love with Star for 5 years and has finally decided now was the time to claim her. This is such a fabulous and funny story.
My favorite part was the candle Axle gave Star for Christmas then everyone wanted one..

I really loved this quick, holiday read that has Axel, the boss, and Star, the employee, traveling to a family holiday gathering as a fake couple. I connected with these two easily, was pulled in to the connection that they have, and how easily they fit together. He's sweet, there's spice, and so much more packed into this story!

Bringing Home The Biker was the perfect holiday romance and my only disappointment in this book was that it ended far too soon. Star needs a fake boyfriend and her very hot Boss Axel decides to step in and save the day. This story is filled with not only holiday cheer but witty banter, a little drama and plenty of heat to keep you warm on a snowy night.

Winter you always have such wonderful romance stories and great characters , this one was such a fun read . Two people who had known each other for over five years as boss and assistant finally get it together and become more than employer and employee . Cute story and a perfect ending 😍😍😍.
