The way I just adored this book, it was so good.
Amelia left a toxic relationship and was prospering, loved to see that. She got her confidence back and more friends. She deserved that happy life. And then Luke showed up and made her tear her walls down. She couldn't resist him, not when the only thing he wanted was to make her happy.
Luke was a gem. He knew she went through something bad and didn't push. He just showed her he was there for her when she needed him back.
They were the cutest and I loved how they communicated, they didn't leave anything unsaid and they loved each other very much. Honestly, they were adorable

Griffin’s Den is Amelia’s fresh start where she will be able to focus on building an aquaponics farm, her dog, and her friends. After her last relationship, she has no intention of dating any time soon. That is until Lucas Grant moves to town. Lucas needs a change from his big city Boston life and is moving with his best friend, Sam, where they’re both hoping to focus on their careers. Lucas wasn’t expecting to fall for Amelia the moment he laid eyes on her. He’s going to have to put the work in for Amelia to give him a chance though.
BURN WITH ME is an excellent romantic suspense debut. I really enjoyed the author’s clear writing style. The setting of Griffin’s Den in New Mexico was interesting and I loved the small-town vibes where everyone knows everyone. I didn’t know much (if anything) about aquaponics coming into this story and loved learning a little about it through Amelia’s character.
BURN WITH ME is told in dual POV, alternating between Luke and Amelia’s POV with less than a handful of chapters in a select few other’s perspectives. I thought this was done really well and fleshed out the story a little more. I really liked Amelia and Luke – they’re so cute together. I loved how thoughtful and caring Luke was to his friends, but specifically towards Amelia. There’s some spicy scenes in this story but I think they’re well placed. I enjoyed the friendships between the characters and how supportive they are of one another.
The one thing that felt a bit weird to me was the excessive and gratuitous name calling as terms of endearments amongst Amelia and Pam, but also to a lesser extent between Luke and Sam. For characters who seem to be in their 30s (if I understood the context well), this felt immature and unnatural.
Lastly, I adored the suspense aspect. I thought it was really well done and definitely had me worried about what the outcome would be. I can’t wait to see what will come next for this friend group in the future Griffin’s Den books.

Saying I loved this book would be an understatement. I absolutely fell in love with it. Ashley has undoubtedly gained a loyal following with this debut, and for a first book, she has done a spectacular job.
One of the things I deeply appreciated was the respectful and insightful way Ashley addresses toxic relationships. Domestic violence isn’t always physical—psychological abuse can often be even more damaging because it alters how we see ourselves.
PLEASE SEEK HELP IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING EITHER PHYSICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE.
The friendship between Pam and Amelia is pure perfection. Pam embodies the kind of best friend we all need: someone who stands by your side unconditionally but also calls you out when necessary. And Luna and Abby’s addition to the group? It’s beautiful to see them give each other the space and time they need to heal and grow together.
The town itself feels like a dream come true, with a tight-knit, supportive community that adds so much warmth to the story.
And then there’s Luke. Oh my goodness, Luke. He’s the ultimate book boyfriend—undeniably written by a woman. Affectionate and protective of Amelia without being overbearing, Luke lets her take the reins to solve her own problems while standing beside her every step of the way. Plus, he’s an incredible “dad” to their adorable furry children, Ginny and Penny (who are absolute gems).
But that’s not all—Luke balances his sweetness with just the right amount of dirty mind and mouth to make the spicy scenes utterly delicious.

OOOO Im slowly becoming a sucker for this micro trope, or at least what I am calling a micro trope. Chapters that aren’t from the MC’s perspective. But read this book and se what I mean because this is what I want to see. This is the second book I’ve read that had this and I loved every minute of it!!
I couldn’t have loved this book any more than I do right now. I saw this book and thought it would be cute to change it up and read about a small town romance. What I didn’t expect was this was full of more than just small town vibes. You watch as the FMC builds herself back up after her break up to then have the MMC come in and show her how she should properly be loved.
Author Ashley Marie wrote a phenomenal first book! I kid you not, the entire time I was reading this book it felt like I was reading a seasoned writers work. It felt like the plot, concept, story line, characters, everything was built with such strong foundation that from there everything else just fell in place. This book was written to capture your attention and keep it the entire way through your reading time. It did just that. The characters were strong and while there was a decent amount of supportive characters, I felt like the MC’s stood out the most. I do think this was set up that we could venture back into this world a few times with different characters we met in this book. I mean the epilogue kinda hints to that but still it felt like we have many directions to lean into as Ashley Marie continues to write.
Even for not being a big small town romance or rom com kind of reader, I personally loved this book and will be recommending it to my non dark romance lovers. I know a few that will surely eat this up! I hope we see some more books from Ashley Marie, no pressure, but I will be waiting to see what you’re planning!

LISTEN this book is INCREDIBLE. It’s so well written and the characters, plot, just everything was so good!! This follows Amelia and Luke. Amelia left a toxic relationship and 5 years later has made her dreams come true by opening her own aquaponics farm. Luke is a firefighter who just moved to town with Amelia’s best friend’s brother. This is a suspense romance so throughout the book Amelia has a stalker, they are always watching. I won’t spoil anything, but the story is amazing, and the spice was perfect!! Amelia is such a relatable character to me in the way that she has ADHD and forgets things quite often but luckily, she has Luke always reminding her of things she needs to do. There are other things, but I want to focus on the fact that this woman is smart, so passionate about what she does, and incredibly caring to everyone around her. Now, Luke is perfect! Seriously, he is so kind and caring, sooo thoughtful, and he’s always paying so much attention to the little things when it comes to Amelia. He learns very quickly what she needs and when, how to help her and support her. 🤍Sorry that this is a long review, but the book is just THAT good!!

Luke is smitten with Am as he gets to know her when their friend group gathers. Luke wears her down to get together on their "first date." Amelia had moved with Pam to this small town in New Mexico due to her work in hydroponic farming. She's taken 5 years to become successful enough to partner and sell her vegetables and fish to the local farmer's markets, groceries, and restaurants. She left DC 5 years before due to a failed relationship with an emotionally abusive boyfriend. Luke is absolutely the opposite of that previous boyfriend and realizes it's going to be a slow process to woo her into a relationship. He's also gone enough for her that instead of calling out her faults, he works with them.
Who doesn't want a golden retriever like this man? The things he does for her while still working for the town firefighter squad and fire investigation are swoon-worthy. The spice between them when he finally gets her hot and bothered.. 🤌 💋! He even helped her with her dog and a stray cat that they both adopted. I can't wait to see the books that will follow with the other side characters.

I really had fun reading this book because Amelia who is the MFC owns an aquaponic farm which I thought was really interesting to read and not to mention that she is an introverted girlie (I can so relate!). She also had a traumatic past with an ex-boyfriend that makes it difficult for her to let new people into her life. But, she knows what she’s worth and left him for good to pursue her dreams (you go girl!).
Luke, the MMC is such a sweetheart, not only is he a firefighter (swoon), he is also such a green flag because he cares so much about Amelia and listens to her so well. At first, I thought their relationship was too fast-paced for me but, I can’t blame them because they are so cute together. They are just right for each other.
There is also drama brewing in Griffin’s Den - a stalker, which I think adds a little bit of tension and edge into the book.
I also love that there are other friendships within the small town connecting Amelia and Luke - they are all so protective and caring and just so wholesome to see. I think we are going to see more of the ships in the next books? I am here for it and I can’t wait to read the next one (hoping it to be Luna and Noah).
I recommend to read the trigger warnings first, just in case, because there are some mentions of topics that may be difficult for some.

Amelia starts over in a new town with her bestie Pam after leaving an abusive, unsupportive man. Starts her dream of owning an aquaponic farm and helping the community. Enter in Luke, the jaw dropping, tall, handsome fire fighter.
Pam helps Luke get an impromptu dinner date with Amelia and sparks fly.
That’s when things start going wrong. Amelia starts feeling like someone is watching her, fires break out all around town and weird occurrences start happening at the farm. Who is her mysterious stalker and what do they want?
Luke is seriously the best, always taking care of Amelia and accepting her completely. I had the wonderful privilege to beta and arc read this masterpiece and I fell in love with it both times I read it. Everyone deserves the love Amelia and Luke have and the found family the whole group has. I can’t wait for more!

This is my first book from Ashley Marie and I absolutely loved this! This is book 1 from Griffin's Den series).
I rate this book a 4.5 and 2 spice.
What I loved books that are: Strangers to lovers, small town, found family, cinnamon roll MMC, he falls first and firefighter romance then I would highly recommend this book.
What I loved about Burn With Me:
Romantic suspense-I'm a sucker for books with a suspense elements in books and this was no different- I was hooked.
I really love men that are patient and caring and I could not resist Luke.

This was such a good read couldn’t put down.
Amelia was such a great character in this book I could relate with her in someways it was nice it went in to great details about what she does on her farm. Also love the found family for her and everyone was there for her.
Luke was so sweet the way he treated Amelia, he didn’t push her to hard for a date made sure she was taken care of didn’t care she had adhd and like her for who she was.
The drama and spice were evened out perfectly in this book as well it was done really good. Can’t wait to read the next book.

What in the world did I just read….i don’t want to give any spoilers but the twists and turns of this book? PERFECTION!
This book really kept me on my toes, I mean there are so many twists and turns in this story. I am in awe of Ashley’s ability to write such a cute love story but with such dramatic twists that just fit. Like, it is truly amazing!
Leo is so loyal and just want to prove his love to Amelia! Who doesn’t love a man in uniform right? Especially one who is as amazing as him.
Amelia has her walls up so high, I’m not sure anyone can get it. She is a true survivor and the trauma she foes though is just so heartbreaking.

This book was so cute! This is the story of Amelia & Luke.. Amelia wanted a fresh start so she left D.C. to Griffin's Den with her bff Pam. Eventually Pam's brother Sam and his bff Luke followed wanting a break from city life. There Amelia & Luke get to actually know each other. I loved Luke, he's amazing & so understanding of Amelia's needs. He's determined to break down her defensive walls. Love the friendship between the girls.. I really can't wait to read about them as well. This story I loved it, it's about healing, moving on & have a great support system to help as well. I would recommend this sweet & spicy read 💕

Okay woah, a cute small town romance with a cinnamon roll MMC who falls first and shows the FMC what love is supposed to be like? YES but goddamn I did not see the plot twists coming and when it’s revealed??? CRAZY!

Loved everyone in Griffins Den (except the obvious 👀) they're all so supportive and makes it seem like a great place to live.
Luke is a dream, persistent but very patient. Which is exactly what Amelia needed. No notes.
Pam is the best of the bff's, loved her and Amelia's relationship, as well as Pam's bro Sam's with them both.
And that epilogue?! Can't wait for the next book!!!

Holy smokes ! The suspense in this book had me on the edge of my seat through the entire thing. I was SHOCKED ! Leo 😡 but Luke was absolutely perfect and loyal and so invested in every aspect of her life. I cannot wait to read the story between Luna and Noah ✨

Ohgoshhhhhhhh, they were the cutest 🤩.
I adored them and their perfectly chemistry and romance.
Luke was the sweetest man for Amelia. He really was smitten at first sight 🫶🏽. His patient was very thoughtful and kind and I’m just happy.
Amelia experienced something most women sadly have lived and I was so touched by her story. The author did a great job writing her story and I’m so happy for Amelia's strength. It’s truly inspiring to see and read resilient stories like this.
