A cute afternoon drive!
Nelson really knows how to get us to connect with characters quickly.
Layla is sassy and wonderful, giving a good quip wherever she can. And Charlie is a loveable, focussed man with dreams.
A good short read that feels so real and relatable (even in the short timeline), with insecurities, dreams, work, and some fun driving thrown in.
If you love F1 you’ll have a great time.
If you’re an Aussie you’ll have a fab time.
If you’re neither, it’s still a wonderful romantic romp!!!
Bonus being a Melbournite was the fun place name drops and knowing exactly where they all were!

What you may not know, is the extra little bits that our adorable couple go through and I’m not about to tell you either! 😜

This novella turned novel was fast paced, showed how healthy relationships can have a big impact on one’s life and just all round fun!!
I’m so sad to see Layla’s & Charlie’s story come to an end!

I was BEYOND excited to have been able to read this rewrite of Layla and Charlie’s story! It is set in Melbourne and has so many nods to the city I live in and love. I really enjoyed the expanded love story and to have been able to peak into their world on the road after the original ended. I am so glad that Sadie had more of a part in this one and how seamlessly it connected to the book Yesterday’s Love! I can see the passion for the F1 racing absolutely being poured into this!

The plot is quick-paced, with each chapter leaving me eager to uncover the next twist. Well written and engaging. I love CJ so much and am adding him to my book boyfriends list and is just such a cute rom-com with a little dash of spice, definitely a great read to read spice if you're just starting out.
The love was loving and had me giggling, like sitting under the stars is my dream date, so much fun to read such a healthy relationship in a book and its based in Melb Australia

I loved reading about a subject I know nothing of. A M Nelson dragged me into the F1 world with relatable characters, a MMC who drew me in from the start, and a whole heap of banter (who doesn't love banter?!).

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! The characters were relatable, and the writing was brilliant. The Aussie banter added a fantastic touch—well done! A solid 5 stars. I will read anything A.M. Nelson writes.

I love AM Nelsons writing! I’ve read 2 of her books now and I’m always amazed at how she creates these characters to experience real life situations! Smooth operator was everything you need in a quick read!! Spice, plot, and a HEA. Charlie and Layla’s story is amazing and starts out with Charlie having to chase Layla. What more could you want? Other than the one and only F1 driver?!?

Is A.M Nelson the queen of sassy FMC’s and banter?! ABSOLUTELY!
Another fantastic romcom, well done! I know absolutely nothing about F1, but I now have the very strong urge to get to know it in hopes of finding my own Charlie!
This story flows beautifully and once I started I didn’t put it down until I was finished.
Sweet and spicy, and also had me giggling, and again A.M Nelson just writes such relatable characters.
Also I love that the douchebag ex is named Jeremy (insert relatable relationship trauma here)
Oh and absolutely loved mention of ATL and the amazing owner Caitlyn.
