This volume mostly focuses on the influence of Jews in America, though it starts with a chapter on the Armenian Genocide. Apparently, some radical Armenians were educated by Bolshevist Jews in Russia, and that led them to commit violent acts in order to free their people from Turkish domination. Then, Turkish reprisals became more violent and attacked all Armenians. I had never heard of this aspect of that unhappy time in history.

But, learning completely new information is a great thing about this and the prior volume. For example, the lynching of Leo Frank had always been presented to me as motivated by Southern anti-Semitism. However, the more you read about the South, the more you realize that its probably the most philo-Semitic part of the country. There was actually a lot of corruption involved in trying to exonerate the wealthy, Jewish businessman Leo Frank of the rape and murder of one of his young workers, including his lawyers trying to pin the crime on the black nightwatchman. The governor of Georgia actually worked at the same law firm as Leo Frank's lawyers. So, when all efforts failed (including trying to get the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the conviction), the people of Georgia reacted to the governor's pardon of Leo Frank by lynching the criminal. (The governor himself was forced to flee the state and take up residence in New York City.) That's just one small example of the history you will be treated to in this volume.

At the same time, certain parts of this volume did drag, such as Jones' description of how folk music and rock and roll were used for Marxist and cultural subversion. (I'm not much of a fan of folk music.) Still, there is much fascinating information here, especially about Jewish influence on Vatican II, particularly the document Nostra Aetate. I also did not realize how Jews used this document to change the script for the Passion Play at Oberammergau.

Yet another great book to fill in the holes of your history education and understand Jewish influence on modern American culture.
