Ro leaned in to examine one of the canvas slips. "What is this?"
"Nothing," Andi snapped, swinging the magnifiers away and stuffing a motherboard back into a cabinet for safekeeping.
"Sorry," Ro said, uncertain what he'd done.
Andy knew right away she'd overreacted. "It's fine," she said, voice a little smaller. "Just... I'm color-blind. Kind of. Certain colors, shades are hard to tell apart. Yellows and blues mostly. It's called tritanopia."
"Oh. Sorry. I didn't know."
"Yeah, why would you?" she asked. "It's just something you live with, I guess."
"You can still do all of this stuff?" Andi shrugged in response, as if none of it was that hard. "That's... kind of incredible," Ro said, a touch of genuine marvel in his voice. (p. 68)
