Incendiary: A Novel

Rate this book
When a woman's four-year-old son and husband are killed in a suicide bombing at a London soccer match, the woman writes a letter directly to Osama bin Laden to convince him to stop his attacks. The woman then takes a job helping the anti-terrorism effort, but outside her doors, the world feels like a war zone, and it pushes her to desperation. With this powerful, provocative novel author Chris Cleave finds fault with both the terrorists and the governments that hunt them down, and gives the average citizen a voice once again.

I loved the lack of punctuation. It made the writing flow so easily and I enjoyed reading this way without hesitations. Interesting idea to write to Osama her boys murderer. The ending was a bit outlandish but I enjoyed the book overall.
