Rue Moving to Rosewood to be close to my aunt and start my floral business has been my dream since I was a little girl. For years, I’ve worked tirelessly to save every penny to make this my reality. I’ve missed out on so much, but it’s all been worth it to see my dreams come true. Until those dreams are literally crushed before my eyes by an out-of-control car. The driver of the car is a scared, lonely girl, and despite my devastation, I can’t bring myself to be angry with her. The accident wasn’t her fault, after all. When I learn who she is—and who her brother is—I quickly find myself in over my head and falling for the one man in town I should avoid at all costs. But when I see his dark side, I can’t help but wonder what I’ve gotten myself into. I’m not usually a runner, but fleeing Rosewood—and the man I love—might be my only option.
Vlad As the local Bratva boss, I have a certain reputation among the residents of Rosewood. But I don’t care what others think of me. The only person in this world who truly matters to me is my baby sister. When I learn she’s been in a car accident, I can’t get to the hospital fast enough. I’m unprepared for the sight that greets me in her hospital room. The beautiful redhead my sister says helped her after the accident is like no woman I’ve ever seen. I’m drawn to her immediately and ready to make her mine. But when I learn what—and who—caused my sister’s accident, there’s no stopping the monster inside me from taking over. My dark side scares Rue, and when she runs, I’m forced to give chase. This little flower is mine, after all. I’m not letting her go, and I’ll do anything to convince her to stay.

When Rue’s (h21) dream of owning a flower shop is shattered by a high-speed car crash, she doesn’t expect the driver’s brother to be Vladimir (H37), the enigmatic and dangerous Bratva boss of Valor Springs. But as Vlad steps in to make things right, Rue finds herself drawn into a world far from her simple life among flowers. Vlad is protective, intense, and unlike any man she’s ever known, stirring feelings she can’t ignore despite the risks. Things heat up between the two, but loving Vlad means facing the dark side of his world. As Rue questions if she can stay by Vlad’s side, he shows her a vulnerability that has her wondering about a future with him that could blossom against the odds. Hot and steamy instalove, age gap, mafia-lite romance, exploring love, loyalty, taking chances, and belonging, in a morally gray world.
Vlad is the local mobster. One that everyone was afraid of and gave a wide berth. When his sister had a car accident, he rushed to the hospital where he not only found his baby sister but the wo.an it would change his life forever
Amazing read with instant chemistry between Vlad and Rue! I loved both characters. You can't go wrong with an OTT H and an innocent and kind hearted h. I would have liked the cousin drama to be more directed towards Rue than the sister. A second epilogue would have been great!
Vlad- 37, mentioned many times that he is never seen with female companions.
Rue- 21, virgin
Safe Read.

Cassi Hart’s The Mobster's Flower, Book 3 in the Men of Valor Springs series, is a captivating and intense romance that beautifully mixes love with danger, creating a dynamic story that I couldn’t put down.
Rue’s journey is one of hard work and persistence. Moving to Rosewood to fulfill her dream of starting a floral business, she’s finally seeing the fruits of her labor. However, her dream takes a devastating turn when a car accident shatters everything she’s worked for. What makes the accident even more complicated is the fact that the driver is a frightened young woman connected to none other than Vlad, the local Bratva boss.
I loved Rue’s resilience and kindness, especially as she navigates her feelings for Vlad while dealing with the aftermath of the accident. Her willingness to see the humanity in others, even in the midst of her pain, made me root for her from the start. And then there’s Vlad—tough, brooding, and commanding. As the Bratva boss, he’s built an impenetrable wall around his emotions, but when it comes to Rue, everything changes. The way he’s protective of his sister is endearing, but as the story unfolds, his darker side emerges, adding tension and complexity to his relationship with Rue.
The chemistry between Vlad and Rue is electric. Their connection is undeniable, but it’s the darkness within Vlad and his fierce determination to protect Rue that raises the stakes in their relationship. What starts as a story about healing and dreams being realized quickly turns into a heart-pounding, emotional journey where Rue must decide if she can handle the intense world Vlad lives in.
What I particularly loved about this book is the way Cassi Hart blends emotional depth with the tension of a dangerous, high-stakes romance. Vlad’s "monster" side may scare Rue, but it's impossible not to be drawn into his relentless pursuit of her. His love for her is fierce and protective, and watching him chase after her when she tries to flee Rosewood is both thrilling and heartbreaking.
This book is a rollercoaster of emotions—passion, fear, trust, and love—and the pace kept me on the edge of my seat. If you enjoy dark romances with compelling characters, simmering tension, and a touch of danger, The Mobster’s Flower is a must-read. Rue and Vlad’s story is one of love conquering fear, and it’s a wild, unforgettable ride.
Cassi Hart’s The Mobster's Flower is the perfect mix of steamy romance, thrilling danger, and emotional depth. Fans of mafia romances will love this rollercoaster of a love story!.

She's the tiny, beautiful weed that has managed to grow within his heart and is impossible to eradicate...
Rue is thrilled to have her dream of beginning a flower business finally come true, even if it's with a mobile flower cart rather than a flower shop. She's outside of her aunt's bakery, and Annie just finished taking a picture of her with her cart when a speeding, out-of-control Porsche smashes into it. The driver, Arya, is a young girl who explains that the brakes failed. Barriers had stopped the car and protected the bakery.
When the ambulance arrives, Arya begs Rue to go to the hospital with her. Seeing how scared Arya is, Rue agrees. Annie makes the comment that Arya's brother, Vladimir Andreyev, will be very upset to learn what has happened. Being new to Valor Springs, his name means nothing to Rue. She thought perhaps Arya had a history of running into things. But Vlad is the local Bratva boss, and he adores his baby sister. He also has a weakness for Annie's red velvet cupcakes.
Vlad is meeting with his lawyer to discuss an assault charge his cousin, Anton, has filed against him. Anton, like his father before him, is trying to take over the local Bratva from Vlad's branch of the family. He's too stupid to realize that even if jailed, Vlad would still keep his ability to rule. But Anton is beginning to become an annoyance... When his phone vibrates, he knows he needs to answer the call. He smiles when he sees Arya's name; she's the most important person in his life. He was twenty when his father's mistress dropped off the two-year-old. To keep her safe, she had to be sent away to another country. She was only allowed occasional visits. She finally told Vlad that she was going to stay at Valor Springs. Since his uncle, Anton's father, was dead, Vlad thought she'd be safe.
When he barrels into Arya's hospital room, she looks so small in the hospital bed. As she glances towards the wall, he turns, expecting to see a nurse. Instead, there's a curly, red-headed fairy with olive-green eyes standing there dressed in a yellow dress.
Rue captured him at his first glance of her, but he knows she's far too good for the likes of a man like him. Annie has been able to see a basic goodness in him over the years, despite the Bratva. Will her niece also recognize this? He has the feeling that she's his salvation.

Rue had visited her aunt in Valor Springs when she was a little girl and had always planned to return, she has sacrificed her teenage years working and saving to open her own flower shop, but finally has enough money to open her very own flower cart next to her aunts Annie’s bakery. It is day one of her new life when the unthinkable happens, a Porsche seemingly out of control smashes into her cart raining them in flowers, seeing the driver is a young woman who explains that the brakes failed on her car and the terror on her face Rue puts her devastated feelings on hold to help the young woman Arya and finds herself going to the hospital with her, it’s the that she meets Vlad, Arya’s older brother who just happens to also be a Bratva boss. He captivates her from that moment on and Rue is finding that the little town has more secrets than she dreamed, but when she finds out who Vlad truly is will, she run from him or stand by his side?
Vladimir Andreyev is no ordinary businessman but the head of a mafia family and rules with a fist of iron, his only weak spot is his little sister Arya, but recently another member of the family wants to take his spot at the top and it seems that he needs to deal personally with his cousin Anton. He is just getting things in motion when he discovers his sister’s accident, and he rushes to her side. Only when he arrives, he meets Rue and is immediately struck, she is his, she just doesn’t know it yet, but this angel was prepared to leave her dream behind to help his sister, he knows that she is too good for him and the life that he lives. What will happen when Rue learns who he truly is and what his life entails, will stand beside him or run in the opposite direction?
Simply adorable story that has so much heat between the characters, the story hooked me from the start and I was invested in their romance and their world. You can’t help but love Rue and her pure heart, and Vlad will do whatever it takes to keep the women in his life safe and protected. Cannot wait for more, 5*
In the Greenhouse. Awesome. Rue is finally getting her dream to start a flower shop. Right now it’s a cart outside her Aunt Annie’s bakery and that’s fine for now. Opening day turns into going out of business when an out of control car slams into the cart annihilating it. There’s a young woman behind the wheel who’s hurt and she can’t find it in her to be angry with her. The woman, Arya begs Rue to come to the hospital with her and she promises to. Annie enlightens her on who Arya is and more importantly who her brother is. Vlad rushes to the hospital after getting the call about his sister. When steps in the room he breathes a sigh of relief. Then all his breath leaves his body when he sees the little red haired fairy in the corner. Feeling like an intruder on the siblings Rue leaves. Arya sends Vlad after her to make things right after telling him that the breaks didn’t work on her car and couldn’t steer it. He finds Rue sitting on a bench outside the hospital and offers her a ride and a temporary solution to her destroyed cart. They end up spending the rest of the day and night in his bed. Later the next day Rue returns to visit Arya and is thankful that Vlad is not there. That is short lived when he walks back in with nurses in tow. Then he gets word on who is responsible for the accident and leaves. Rue and Arya talk and Rue admits that she’s leaving town but, will keep in contact with her. She goes home to pack wondering if she’s making the right decision. She in the shower when she sees a shadow on the other side of the curtain and screams. Has Arya’s attempted killer come after her now?.

This one was my fav of the series so far, I wish it were a full-length novel!
Rue has always dreamed of opening up her own flower shop and, as a stepping stone towards that goal, she's finally saved enough money to get a flower cart. Unfortunately, on the very first day of selling her flowers, a car crashes into the cart, destroying everything she worked so hard for, and leaving her devastated. The driver of the car is none other than the mafia boss's (Vlad) little sister. Vlad has a reputation and most people are afraid of him.
Rue and Vlad first meet at the hospital where his sister was brought after the accident. As soon as he sees Rue he is instantly taken by her, especially since she doesn't seem intimidated by him. After he checks on his sister he goes out to investigate what happened to cause his sister to lose control of the car but ends up checking up on Rue.
The connection between these two was perfect, sparks flew and things eventually got steamy!! I loved the story, the characters and everything about this book!

Rue Carter is 21 and has her brand new flower cart outside of her Aunt Annie’s bakery. Her dream has always been to own a flower shop in Valor Springs, so this is a step in the right direction. She has wanted this since she was 5 years old. For the last three years, Rue has worked hard to save for her flower cart.
Right after taking pictures, the women are hugging when Rue sees a car that is out of control headed right for them. Annie looks over her shoulder and pulls Rue out of the way. The car smashes into Rue’s flower cart destroying her dreams.
There is a young girl named Arya in the driver’s seat of the car. While waiting for the paramedics to arrive, Rue holds Arya’s hand to keep her calm. Arya makes Rue promise to go to the hospital with her. As the paramedics check Arya out and get her on the stretcher, Annie tells Rue that the girl is Arya Andreyev. She is Vladimir Andreyev’s younger sister. He is the local Bratva boss.
Vlad is 37 and worried about his sister. When he arrives at the hospital room, he finds Rue. He is immediately entranced by her. However, he realizes that she is young. Rue finds him attractive but know that she shouldn’t because he is a dangerous mob boss.
They are total opposites, but it works. I really enjoyed this story.

This one is my favourite of the series so far! I was instantly hooked on these character and their individual stories- which the author did a fantastic job of developing for such a quick, fast paced novella. Once these two were on the page together, the attraction was mutual, high and instant. Both a tad taken aback but the sudden feelings, but it was wonderful seeing them interact and develop those feelings. Rue and Vlad had never felt like this towards anyone else before.
To everyone else Vlad is the big, gruff, powerful feared head of the mafia in their town, but when he is with Rue and talks about her, it melts my heart. He will care for and protect her with all he is. But don’t let that fool you, these two are spicy!!
I love how protective Vlad is, and that we get to see a little of his ‘work’. Rue is so sweet and passionate, I enjoyed how hard she worked for her dream. Vlad instantly supported her and she saw the best in him, even as she worked out her feelings about the dangerous life he lives.
I could have read more of this two, it was a great story. I am excited for what’s to come next for The Men of Valor Springs series.
**Thank you to the author and Booksprout for a copy of the book. This review and its opinions are my own
Part of the Men of Valor Springs can be read as a standalone in under an hour but know you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Rue is so happy to see her dream of running her own flower business come true well… not a business just yet but it is a mobile flower cart parked in front of her aunts bakery they are so happy just taking pictures when they are nearly killed by an out of control car and the young girl is scared to death she isn’t use to being able to stop Arya explains the breaks wouldn’t stop if it weren’t for the barriers in front of the bakery everything would have been lost. Rue accompanies Arya to the hospital while they reach out to her brother Vladimir sexy as all get out boss not a man you want on your radar, he is dangerous, ruthless, on a good day, deadly every day protects his family especially his baby sister and will in a meeting he gets the call only to learn she is in the hospital dropping everything to find out what happened. Arriving he is introduced to the beautiful red head, Annie’s niece, everything in his world shifts but who cut the break lines, will she give him a chance, will he take care of his cousin putting a stop to his craziness, and is there happiness somewhere along the way?
Wonderful characters are amongst the pages of this easy to read as well as a great page turner novella that has a happy ever after ending with a steamy romance. An accident brings together a florist and a Bratva Pakhan, at first sight they both fell for one another and soon they were in love. Throughout this novella the two can’t keep from having sex even though they both try to pull away from one another at different times they are drawn back to one another. It doesn’t take long before the Bratva Pakhan finds out who caused the accident and goes to tend to it but while tending to the one responsible he thinks about what the florist would think. The two have sex and while having sex they tell each other everything they need to tell one another as well as that they love one another. A year later the two are married and after finding out about their family growing they have sex. The couple is happy and tells one another that they love each other.

Rue is opening the first stage to owning a florist shop with her brand-new florist cart to be located in front of her aunt's bakery. She had invested all her savings into the cart and the flowers. Her aunt is getting pictures when Rue sees a car speeding toward them; swerving and knows that it is going to crash into them. They move just in time, but the cart is destroyed. Arya, the driver, is taken to the hospital with her insisting that Rue goes with her. The girl is the sister of Vladimir Andreyev, the local mob boss. Rue had heard rumors but never met him. When Vlad looks from Arya to the girl in the room, he feels a pull from a fairy, really Rue. Vlad offers a temporary solution to Rue for her destroyed flower cart. Will she accept his offer? She is drawn to him as he is to her. Is there something there to build on? And did someone sabotage Arya's car before the accident? Who possibly? Will there something between Rue and Vlad?.

Cassi Hart is a phenomenal writer who creates captivating romance books. Each book that I have read by her has been a masterpiece of romance stories. And The Mobster’s Flower is another remarkable romance with an incredible plot, amazing characters and the final outcome for the main characters is absolutely stunning. I fell in love with both Rue and Vlad as well as witnessing their amazing love unfold throughout the book. Rue has moved to be closer to her aunt and beginning her own floral business that has been her dream ever since she was a little girl. Rue is a strong and independent woman who is working towards fulfilling her dream. Vlad is the local brave Boss who has a certain reputation among the residents of Rosewood and he doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him. Now this is all that I’m going to reveal about this book because I don’t want to reveal too much about it. However, I would definitely recommend this amazing mafia romance to anyone who loves reading this amazing romances.

OMG this was a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Rue was a beautiful who wanted to started his own flower business . Vlad was a lawyer who was going to see her brother Arya's who was a tough mafia guy who was in a car accident. The chemistry between them spicy with a hit sexual attraction and the physical tension was like a rollercoaster ride that was about to ignited. They couldn't even fight the temptation any longer was she falling in love with him is he the one who will protected her from danger and heartbroken. He had a softer side since he was a tough guy. Will he help her with her business and other stuff in this moment. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. Rue’s dream is to own her very own flower shop and she’s one step closer with her brand new flower cart business. She’s so excited until a car comes crashing through, destroying everything. Rue is a good person to the core and helps the young girl in the car, even going to the hospital with her.
When Vlad finds out his younger sister was in an accident, he rushes to the hospital. Relieved to find her ok at the hospital, he turns to the woman who helped his sister and is instantly attracted to Rue. They form an instant connection but when Rue finds out the brutal truth of who he is, she gets scared. Vlad has to show her that he’s the right man for her and that they are meant to be together.
This was a sweet story with a lot of spice between the two main characters. I loved the storyline and dynamic between all the characters. Well done!

Is there anything more swoon worthy than a hardened Russian mobster falling head over heels for a young innocent? Maybe, but I can’t think of anything right offhand.
One second Rue was celebrating the opening of her own business, a flower cart she’d scrimped and saved for for years and the next she’s mourning its loss before she even got started when a runaway car destroyed it.
The first time Vlad saw the red headed beauty he swore she was a fairy. Not only did she look like a fairy but she smelled like one would expect, of sweet flowers and he was hooked. When he had the chance to help her get back on her feet and replace her flower cart, he seized the opportunity knowing he couldn’t stand to let her go.
This was a pretty sweet little read—it had everything I look for in a romance—plenty of steam, no angst, drama free and it served as an excellent palate cleanser for when we need a break from all the heavy drama filled books. 4.5 Stars!
The mysterious client that Wilson Hile from “Defensive Hero”represents is revealed in this short story, which is my favorite in this new series. Vladimir Andreyev, head of the Bratva, and feared in Valor Springs is facing fear himself. His sister Arya is hospitalized after a suspicious auto accident in which she destroyed the flower cart belonging to Rue Carter. After seeing that his sister’s visitor is the very young woman whose business she destroyed, Vlad is afraid that his heart will be claimed by the vision in the room. Read this very steamy ❤️🔥 age gap romance between a big bad gangster and an innocent flower girl. It’s short and packed with intensity. A 5 star 🌟 short read. I have received an ARC from the author and I am leaving an unbiased review voluntarily.
The Mobster's Flower is Book 3 of Men of Valor Springs. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, virgin gets her mafia man romance.
Rue is a 21 year old virgin who's recently moved to Rosewood to realize her dream of being a florist. She has just started her floral cart, when a vehicle driven by a young girl, Arya, crashes into it. She says her brakes weren't working.
Vlad is a 37 year old hunky, ruthless, Bratva boss, and the older brother of Arya. She is his one soft spot. When he rushes to the hospital, he sees Rue and immediately wants the red-headed beauty.
But what will happen when Rue finds out who he is and sees his dark side?
These two had great chemistry, and we got a lovely HEA after the drama was resolved.

Oh wow!! This is an awesome book! It’s sweet and heart felt with some very hot spicy scenes. Love how Rue and Vlad had no baggage with other people in their life romanticly. The strong attraction they instantly had for each other (Insta Love) had never been felt for another person by either of them🥰. She being an innocent and him being the big bad bratva with a soft heart, protective and possessive for her only. Well and his little sister who gets in trouble and gets these two to meet. Rue Carter is our innocent twenty one year old, exotic, green eyed, red headed MFC. Vladimir Andreyev is our thirty seven, dark hair, dark eyes Pakhan of the Russian Bratva MMC. He calls her his “good girl”…👍🏻🥰.

Rue is a new business owner. Her dreams of owning a flower shop finally came true, only to have her business destroyed before her first sell. A young girl loses control of her car and runs into her flower cart. Rue had no idea she was the Pakhan’s sister. She also didn’t expect the sparks the minute she meets him. Vlad is the head of the Bratva. A crime boss who is feared by everyone in the small town of Valor Springs. I love the instant chemistry between these two. Vlad knows that she should be off limits but is drawn to her. I love how protective he is of his sister and how he turns into a cinnamon roll for Rue. Full development of characters in this fast instalove novella.

Imagine dreaming of owning a flower shop since you were 5 years old, working hard and saving money, and finally actualizing your dream at age 21. Then imagine that within the first five minutes of being open your business is destroyed by a runaway car crashing into your flower cart. Unfortunately for Rue, this is what happened. Poor Arya was the driver and the victim of car tampering. Arya crashed into Rue’s world and completely changed Rue’s life as Arya’s brother Vlad and Rue are introduced. Their chemistry crackles off the page.
The story is a cute, short, fun, instalove, mafia-lite story. The MCs are strong but vulnerable with lots of big emotions. The town of Valor Springs provides a quaint backdrop. Perfect for when you want an age gap, alpha/virgin story, HEA story.
I love a darker, over possessive MMC and Vlad is just that. His name alone is enough to put fear in people, but it just takes the right woman to see what lays beneath. I love Rue and Vlad together, they balance and complete each other. The chemistry and attraction is instant and mutual and leads in to a super hot story, which ends in a happy ever after. The side characters are as always superb, I love Annie and that she has a constant appearance throughout the series. I can’t wait to see how the love story between Arya, Vlad’s sister, and Jax, his right hand and best friend, plays out in the next story in this series.

When Rue’s new flower stand takes a hit by a car, she is devastated! This was her dream to own a flower shop and stand was just the beginning of it all. The person behind the wheel is the younger sister of the the town notorious crime boss. When Rue first meets Vlad she isn’t terrified like everyone else who sees him, in fact what she feels surprises her. Vlad makes a promise to replace her flower stand and every flower she lost. When he shows her a temporary replacement, things get heated. I love this series so far and each book is better than the last. So happy to see that Vlads sister Arya’s story is next since we got a taste of her and her crush in this book. Can’t wait to see how their story plays out.
This is the story of Rue and Vlad. They meet when Rue sees her dream come true by opening a flower cart. Just when she is about to open the cart, disaster strikes when a car crashes into her cart and not only the cart is badly damaged but also all the flowers are destroyed. She goes with the driver to the hospital and once there Vlad the brother of the victim storms in because she is his sister and she is his everything and not only that he is the head and boss of the Bratva and as soon as he meets Rue it is clear to him that she is his and that he will do everything to protect her and his possessive side comes out. A deliciously steamy Bratva story with romance and enough steam.

mafia romance. Rue is a young woman who moves to her aunt's small town to open a small flower stand. She didn't expect that on her first day of work her stand would be destroyed by the car of a young man who is none other than the sister of the local mafia boss Vlad. Vlad is a man feared throughout the region despite his cousin son trying to take his place. When he goes to the hospital following his sister's accident he didn't expect to have a crush on his savior. Will Vlad be able to confess his feelings and protect his family, will Rue be able to get used to Vlad's dark side and let herself live a story with him...
This is another fun addition to the series and I loved Vlad and Rue together. These two had a few challenges between them such as their ages, her just getting ready to start a business and him, a well established Bratva leader, and reputations. Of course, none of that mattered when he was a big softie for her and so protective of those he loved. He did strive to be an even better man for Rue to help reduce those differences, though ;) I liked that Rue took some brief time to consider their future before diving into the love he offered. This was engaging and fast paced, with a wonderful HEA. Really enjoyable and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series :D
I loved The Mobster's Flower : Book 3 of Men of Valor Springs. It was supposed to be her first day in business but Rue can’t be live it when someone drives into her flower cart. As hurt as she is, she knows she must help the girl driving. Her brother Vlad will make sure Rue has everything replaced but she wants him. Vlad wants Rue but she’s doesn’t know if she can trust what he says, when he says forever. I loved the story and the characters. He may be the boss but he’s gooey on the inside for her. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.
