The first half of this book was god tier while the next half... not so much. It was cutesy, chill and smutty and I wish the story stayed like that. I honestly don't know what to say lmao. The book was kinda just there for me.

Of all the books I have read from this author I would say this is by far my favorite. I really liked the concept. I liked where the story went and the characters were so cute. They were meant to be together. And the only reason why I didn’t give five stars, its only because I did not like that the crazy guy that experimented on Niall came back after years of not showing up. It threw me off a little bit we could’ve just continue the story without all that drama. Other than that, it was a really good read.

I'm so happy to finally read Niall get the happy ending with his own alpha that he deserves.
With everything that the omega went through and has had to live with since being kidnapped, experimented on, and left with life changing effects, he is doing well for himself. Though, with his brother now living his best life with his own family, Niall is living in their home, alone. Never fear, Jag is his new neighbour. Jag is not long out of prison, but seems to be the most kind hearted and caring alpha, wanting nothing more than to help Niall in whatever capacity he allows.
It makes for the sweetest romance that builds to more as Niall explored for the first time. Just because it stems from an extremely embarrassing moment is neither here nor there, it ignites a flame that can't be doused. What holds Niall back is what he sees as his deformities and Jag just wants him to see himself as he does - beautiful as the person he is now, inside and out.

Since Niall has never felt safe, he jumps at loud noises and is nervous around strangers even with his brother with him. He never opens his door to anyone he doesn’t know and keeps his windows curtained.

It has been a minute since I read an Anna Wineheart book. This alpha-omega mpreg was a solid read. The author stays true to the genre with good writing of interesting characters. Niall’s disabilities were different and made for some interesting scenes and a sexy one, too, when a glory hole bj with MC Jag, for ‘research purposes’, had Jag wondering why it felt so different.
The author has clever moments like these all throughout the story. There is some breaking of the third wall when the author and her husband are shopping in the same grocery as Niall and Jag. Ms. Wineheart has a touching dedication of the book to her late husband, ‘Huz’. I am glad that I got to see him in her newsletters before he passed away.
Niall is a very different omega character who falls for his new neighbor in the gray sweatpants. The alpha neighbor falls for Niall, too, and is so sweet to the little shut in omega with the tragic past. I liked Niall’s personality and quirky ways. The scene where he sneaks through Jag’s laundry looking for used underwear and then gets found out by an amused Jag was an amusing moment. There are funny moments, sad ones, too, and lots and lots of very hot sex. The author does very well with the sex scenes. I might have to read Niall’s friend Emmy’s book as I cannot figure out what are ‘butt blessings’, lol.

I think this is the only book by this authored I’ve read that I’ve actually enjoyed. The story line wasn’t super over the top like some of her others. The characters were unique and different from her other books, offer I feel like she recycles her characters, slaps a different name of them a some what different variation of the same story and calms it a day.
The three stars are honestly attributed to the sex scene where the Alpha is reading the book and the omega is sitting on his lap. If you know you know. That’s scene lives in my head rent free.

I loved Niall and Jag together! I loved how Jag treated Niall from the very beginning and how he did everything he could to show Niall that he was worthy regardless of his disabilities. I’m not usually one for stories where one of the MCs went to jail but the fact that it didn’t happen in the actual story and also the reason for why Jag went to jail, I was totally ok with it.
I was a little worried for a long while through the book that how what happened to Niall happened wasn’t going to be explained. I mean, obviously I knew he was kidnapped and experimented on but I mean like, what they actually did to him to cause the disabilities he had. I should not have doubted though, I got the answers I was looking for. It was also nice to see Rutherford interact with Niall.
I hadn’t realized how Niall came up with his pen name but once Jag figured it out I totally felt like I should have realized it as well but I didn’t, lol, very clever! I found it hilarious that Anna wrote herself into the book, I honestly could not stop laughing for at least a couple of minutes (every time it came up).
I love how previous characters are always included, though I haven’t been keeping up so just about all the characters that got included in this one I haven’t read yet. As I’ve read from a lot of reviews of Emmy’s book and some of the others, I agree with them in that I’m really not a big fan of him. The way he talks is like a 2-5 year old (I’m not the best with kids and ages so just a guess). If he was a Little I might understand, but knowing that he’s not makes the way he acts just feel weird and most of the time he was inappropriate at times that he really shouldn’t have been. He really doesn’t seem to have a filter in the way he acts.
I kinda wish that their brothers Troy and Evan and their mate Landon had been included more. I would have liked to see Troy and Landon’s interactions with Niall but other than maybe 2 sentences with Troy, they didn’t really have any interactions. I haven’t read their book yet and the age difference between Niall and Evan wasn’t mentioned but from what I got, Evan meet his mates after he got Niall back (I could be wrong though) so maybe there are more interactions between them in Troy, Evan, and Landon���s book. Guess I’ll have to read it to find out, but as this is meant to be able to be read as a standalone I do wish there was just a tad bit more just because I would have liked to know how Evan’s mates felt about Niall. I think I got an ok sense about how Troy felt but definitely not Landon.

At about 74% through, Aaren showed up and for some reason Niall referred to him as “Chubby Aaren.” I know that’s how he’s described so you have an idea in what he looks like but his introduction and description was already written sooner in the book so writing it at this point and in the way it was felt unnecessary. This wasn’t written in that Niall actually said it, it was like “Chubby Aaren walked up” or ”showed up” so I guess it wasn’t that big of a deal, it just didn’t feel right to me I guess.
Overall, this was a great read and I’m happy to know that Storm and Linus are next. I’m so curious to know how Storm does everything he does regarding Linus with him even knowing about, like really though, how? Lol.

It’s safe to say that I’m going to be reading all of the books from this author.
I highly enjoyed this book, it had the right amount of everything. Dirty talk, sex, dialogue etc. I really liked the characters and constantly had to check the page count so that I wouldn’t be disappointed when it ended.
There isn’t much bad that I can say except I would have liked to have seen Evan and his family in more of the chapters. The author basically mentioned him and showed him once or twice and then forgot about his existence. Even when our MC was giving birth, his only living family member was nowhere to be seen and normally (whether or not you have children) your family does everything they can to try and at least see you once or twice during the hours of your birth but none of that happened.
I’d also have liked a little bit more diversity(?) when it comes to the sex. Maybe that’s just me but it felt like the same thing from her other books (forced by his wolf brother).
The third and maybe final thing that I didn’t care for was the randomness of the drama the author added in. Like a few other comments have said, I liked the first cutesy half of the book but the second half was basically unnecessary. I get that they wanted more pages and probably didn’t want the book to end as a novella but the drama could have been left out. All throughout the first half of the book the MC made it seem like it had been resolved already and that the drama (best way I can put it without giving away the details) was done and gone but suddenly it pops back up out of nowhere? And right when his alpha starts getting curious? Just didn’t sit right nor did it feel right with me. It felt forced more than anything.
Either way it’s a great starter book into this authors series and I highly recommend reading their novellas in between reading their full length novels. I’m currently starting my third one (finished Ex Con Alpha and right after I went onto Forced By His Wolf Brother) and I hope that the rest of the books don’t let me down!
I highly enjoyed this book, it had the right amount of everything. Dirty talk, sex, dialogue etc. I really liked the characters and constantly had to check the page count so that I wouldn’t be disappointed when it ended.
There isn’t much bad that I can say except I would have liked to have seen Evan and his family in more of the chapters. The author basically mentioned him and showed him once or twice and then forgot about his existence. Even when our MC was giving birth, his only living family member was nowhere to be seen and normally (whether or not you have children) your family does everything they can to try and at least see you once or twice during the hours of your birth but none of that happened.
I’d also have liked a little bit more diversity(?) when it comes to the sex. Maybe that’s just me but it felt like the same thing from her other books (forced by his wolf brother).

I hate to say it, but these books are so terrible. I don’t know if she (Anna Wineheart) just writes and when an idea pops in her head she adds it or if she just has poor execution of her outlines. It’s a Wien Shack, with a server carrying a baby around, but now there’s a glory hole. I’m like what kind of establishment is Olson running. It’s fantasy, but she attempts to include real world elements that just don’t work. I’m just usually like what am I reading when I’m reading one of her novels, but at the same time I am intrigued about the plot bunnies she drops for future novels.
Jag and Niall weren’t terrible, but Niall’s character with the “gnarled fingers” and “dentures” just seemed like a bit much. Emmy and these butt blessings and pick-up lines still so ridiculous and juvenile. Like once maybe a like funny, but repeatedly over and over, just too much.

Strength through adversity
I've been waiting for sweet Niall and Jag.
Niall has suffered through horrific trauma and he doesn't believe anyone would want him.
Jag has been in prison but there were extenuating circumstances and he's very open and unapologetic about it.
They're both also lonely and need each other.
Jag is very sweet, tender, kind and protective of Niall which is exactly what he needs.
Jag is very insistent on making sure Niall knows how perfect he is for him, just as he is and how strong and brave he believes him to be, despite Niall not believing it.
A threat from Niall's past tries to harm him again but thankfully Jag is able to fend it off.
There's lots of love and laughter between them, along with their real and found family.
Emmy makes his appearance again for some hilarious hijinks.
I'm so desperate for Aaren's story and now I'm definitely looking forward to Storm getting his omega.

Yah! Niall and Jag
I couldn't wait to read Niall's story when he was introduced in Two Daddies for the single dad omega. I loved Niall's and Jag. It was such sweet read and Jag was perfect. I can't wait for Storm and Linus' book. I don't know if I'm the only one but I am a huge fan of Aaren the cook and I'm hoping he gets one of these danger alpha alphas for himself. Hint hint either Hades or Fury I'm not picky. He deserves a nice strong alpha instead if the poop stain he's with. I'm hoping that's a future book after Storm and Linus. I can't wait for their book. I'm hoping it does release in April. It will be excruciating waiting for it. And I absolutely loved Emmys cameo and his butt blessings. He always makes me laugh. I can't wait for more from this world I've already read all of them. Loved all of the cameos from past characters.

Great addition to the series!
I loved Ex-Con Alpha Daddy by Anna Wineheart. It's the second book in The Danger Alpha Brotherhood series. I loved Niall and Jag's story. Niall is adorable. He has trust issues with alphas, which is totally justified, considering what he has gone through. However, with Jag he feels safe and protected. Jag is a perfect alpha. He just wants an omega to care for and protect, something he thought he would never get to do after going to prison. I loved watching Jag read Niall's stories and how aroused he got. I also loved the cameos of Emmy and his blessings and pickup lines. I also loved the Easter eggs about the author. I look forward to reading the next book in the series when it comes out.

This is a lovely mpreg romance with a great blend of humor, hurt/comfort, heat and sweetness. And a bit of supsense too. Jag and Niall are a wonderful opposites-attract couple. I liked their age gap and the emphasis on care and acceptance in their relationship. I’d been looking forward to Niall finally getting his own HEA, and I’m so glad he got Jag as his hero.
I loved that Niall is a romance author and that Jag shows interest in his books, and is supportive, even before he knows that Niall doesn’t just like to read romance but writes it too. The secondary characters are lively, creating a heartwarming circle of supportive friends and family for our MCs and bringing the expected well-meaning naughty jokes.

Another amazing read by Anna Wineheart! I was so excited for Niall’s story and she did not disappoint! Niall is a 22-year old omega that has gone through a lot of trauma that left his with many physical scars. Jag is a 47-year old alpha that is an ex-con that just moved in next to Niall. Niall has trouble trusting alphas and is apprehensive of Jag, even though he is the brother of his brother’s mate. They have their ups and downs and it was a great read. There’s lots and lots of heat! I highly recommend Niall and Jag’s story and recommend reading the stories before theirs!

I loved this story. Niall is a broken but brilliant character. I loved his writings as well as his heart. He comes across as someone I want to love and cheer for.
Jag. Well he might be older than Niall but he is perfect for him too. His gentle, protective soul is just what Niall needs to flourish. He also needs Niall, having a mate that he can love fully and needs him, well that is perfect in Jag's book.
Overall
this is a funny, sweet, and hot story. I loved how Ms Wineheart blends serious and funny moments. This is a book I am going to have on my keeper shelf for a long time to come

this serves as proof I’ve been in a book slump because wth?
The overarching storyline about a disabled man and an ex con falling in love was actually quite nice. The execution however was….. not what I wanted. Also can we please get rid of Emmys character??? He was so cringey and unfunny in the last book but I put up with it because I liked the story but he’s just as annoying in this book too and it was exhausting to get through literally any scene with him. Now I find out he’s getting his own book…. Yeah so I won’t be picking that up. I’m honestly disappointed I didn’t like this series more because it had so much potential.

This is basically porn and I have zero regrets. The sexual tension in the first half was SO good I was actually fanning myself. Anna Wineheart strikes again. I didn't really care for the sudden and violent third act .
Anyway, this book basically delivers on the unapologetic smut and I'm all for it. Keen for the next book.

This book was okayyy, there was some super cute moments between niall and jeg, and other times were super sexy! i had a hard time picturing how niall looks so i think that’s what took me out of this book a little, but it was still a cute read!
side note emmy is such a weird and strange character and everytime he was mentioned i kind of wanted to stop reading bc it was so cringey but it was fine bc he was barely in it LOL.

It was very heartwarming and gratifying to see that Jag saw past the deformities/disabilities to the sweet man beneath Niall's exterior. I enjoyed the chemistry that sizzelled my kindle as I read this. It was captivating seeing the healing and trust growing between these two. Emmy is a sparkling bonus gem with his cute cameos. Some twists that had my adrenaline pumping! What a heartmelting epilogue!

I have been waiting for Niall and Jag’s story since they each were first introduced. Niall works hard to take care of himself yet sometimes he needs a little help and Jag is more than happy to be that help. Soon emotions begin to show. I enjoyed seeing the way their relationship blossoms and takes shape. Their story is full of emotions and at times it will pull at your heart. It moves at a good pace and I loved seeing past characters show up.
