Maisie has spent her life being targeted and judged due to her family's wealth. She doesn't want it, though. Instead, she worked her ass off to get herself and good job and make a good life in the city for herself and her eleven-year-old son. But when her father is diagnosed with cancer, she and Jace have to move back to the town she ran from so long ago.
If there is one thing Cade (Ledge) Ledger hates more than anything, it's seeing children in bad situations. So when he runs into a starving kid trying to steal a wealthy woman person, he steps in before the kid can get into too much trouble. What he doesn't expect is for the woman to move to his town a couple of weeks later.
Is ignoring her the right thing to do? Probably not, but hell, it's worth a shot. That is until Maisie's demons from her past start targeting her and her son. As Ledge wades deeper into the reality of Maisie Hilton's life, will he and his club be able to save her and Jace from the devils who are nipping at their heels?
By far this book is easily my favorite book in the series so far. Ledge and Maisie’s story is darker, more intense, and emotionally heavier than the previous books in the best way.
Maisie is a strong, layered FMC, and the stalking storyline added real tension and urgency without feeling overdone. Ledge is everything you want in a protective MMC steady, fierce, and willing to go feral when it counts. The bond between him, Maisie, and her son added so much heart and depth.
This book was completely unputdownable. What I planned to be a few chapters turned into devouring the entire book in just over two hours.
If you love MC romance with suspense, found family, and high emotional stakes, Flawed Perfection is a must-read. Lizzy H.M. Once again you, continue to raise the bar with this series.
I really enjoyed this book. It comes in a close second place for my favorite of the series..sorry friends, Deadly Games is still my favorite. Don’t hate meeee. I love Jace, he might be my favorite character so far. Soooo feisty! I love that all of the guys so far share the same “touch her and ☠️” attitude. And can we take a moment to reflect on Steele from this book? I mean HELLOOOOO. Okay, I realize this isn’t his book but like 🔥. I’ve really enjoyed all of the books in this series so far and this one definitely did not disappoint. I also really like that as the series goes on, the books get a litttllleee bit longer. At the end I’m always wanting more!
This book is my favorite out the series so far !! I absolutely love Jace (a snarky preteen, but for good reasonings). It had me laughing, crying, and pissed all in the same paragraph so be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions. I will say this book is DARK than the other 2 in this series but OMG so worth it !!! 🖤🖤🖤 also Steele in this book 🥵🥵 I know this isn’t his book but I have to talk about it because this man !!!!!
Is back in town with her son, but the pass has a way to come back. After fighting for a new life , she finds love and acceptance with Cade Ledger. School.counceler and club secarery.
