Marc Spector is back from the beyond! As an avatar and agent Khonshu, Egyptian God of the Moon, former mercenary Marc Spector has died and come back to life on more than one occasion. To the ignorant, his fate beyond death's grasp may seem idyllic - but being chosen as a Fist of Khonshu comes with a heavy cost! And like bones in a street fight, Marc Spector - and the multitudes he contains - may be about to break! Reunited with his Midnight Mission, which has grown in his absence, Marc heads straight into the fight of his (latest) life as dangerous operators on both sides of the law target heroes, villains and civilians with callous disregard for safety! Joke's on them, though, because Moon Knight also has a callous disregard for safety - and his is bigger! Collecting MOON KNIGHT: FIST OF KHONSHU #0-5

Loving the story but frustrated by Marvel’s inability to get the same artist to draw more than three issues of a book in a row, as usual.

A solid start to a new darker direction for Moon Knight. I wouldn’t say the character has ever been light but recently resurrected Moon Knight is now on the run and hunted by law enforcement and his sacred Midnight Mission is destroyed. Now we deal with an angrier and meaner Moon Knight. I know very little about this group as I am newish to these Moon Knight runs but I like everyone so much and these new villains just got a bit more interesting. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

A good – though unrequited – relaunch. Mackay is comfortable with MK, and it shows. We start off with a very street-level plot full of noise and fury. An important character dies, and the final twist takes the title in a new direction. Very classic in essence, but totally masterful with good characters and dialogue.

Three different artists – in five issues, for goodness' sake! – but all of a high standard, thank you. I never liked the colouring, but that's more a matter of personal taste.

Moon Knight is my favourite character in comics. The best book in comics. Love the artwork, the story, and everyone on team Moon Knight.

Moon Knight has always been the bogeyman of the underworld. He proved his mettle during the Bloodhunt. However, he might have met his match with a gangster willing to take the fight to him and worse the people he cares about.

Great book, I can't wait for the next one. This book stars the series from issue zero as a recap of team Moon Knight. Then the Moon Knight doing what he does but this time there might be push back. The book finishes with a variant cover gallery and an intro to the 8 Deaths of Spider-Man.

Moon Knight is back, baby, and he's immediately breathing down the neck of some new drug dealer in his territory. The drug might be real fairy dust and is terrifyingly addictive, giving the drug dealer a huge amount of control over his addicts, including members of the NYPD. A police raid sees the Midnight Mission evacuating to a sewer lair.

As ever with Jed MacKay's Moon Knight series, I found Leave Home to be compulsively readable, then thoroughly forgettable once finished. Admittedly, the reveal of why the drug dealer is so intimidating has me ready for the next volume (). But the majority of Leave Home just sort of washes over you, CBS procedural-style. Not necessarily a complaint, though - sometimes it's nice to tackle a low brain energy read. Good to have our white knight back on the streets.

I'm glad this series is continuing. Some interesting stakes and interpersonal conflict for a strong cast of characters in this one, excited to see where it goes.

Marc Spector returns, as we always knew he would. I say that; I feel like there's also more Steven and Jake than we got in MacKay's initial run. Which is fine by me, but other changes sat less well; the art isn't so distinctive or fractured anymore, and the plot (there's a new gang boss in town, selling a dangerous new drug) felt like the wrong kind of old-school, even before it upended the whole Midnight Mission set-up. Still, by the end of this volume we're back to Marc in massively over his head, and the supporting cast all being their wonderfully damaged selves, and I've regained confidence that everything will be just grand, for a brutal and bloodied value of the word.

This was such a good volume omg I loved this one! It continues the awesome run of Mackay on MK and it actually explores now that they're back what new challenges they face and holy hell.. he actually has such a great premise where in the first few issues itself he uproots the whole team and challenges them in such a great way!

I love how it shows this new villain ACHILLIES FAIRCHILD and his new drug and he has been pushing it and you really see MK take it personally and take out his men and he has a fun fight with this villain CUBIST and I love the art dimensions there, really makes you perplexed as a reader but then when it gets personal with what the villain does to his MIDNIGHT MISSION, the story gets so interesting and seriously this is the point you start to see that this villain is just focused on the mission and will do anything to win.

Its such a great status quo for the team as they are on the run and labelled cultists and criminals and losing the trust of the people they have taken an oath to protect and that just puts them in an even great bind and seriously so many great moments for each of them and especially Mark and you see his breakdown and that fight vs VERMIN is just brutal woah! I mean the artist just has a field time doing panels and it shows you the brutality associated with MK!

Also love the end fight there vs Achillies and when they reveal who he truly is.. well what a reveal and it actually makes me more excited about the direction of the series and this villain is not to be taken lightly, he can make for one of the best MK antagonists and really challenge Marc in a way he has never been before!

I loved this volume and the setting of the new status quo and how the characters react to it! The art continues to be awesome and hands down one of the best Marvel runs!

Another relaunch, and yet MacKay's Moon Knight keeps on trucking. Revived by Khonshu during Blood Hunt, Marc's back and out for vengeance once again. There's a new drug called Glitter on the street, and the pusher behind it is dead in Moon Knight's sights. Bad news for him!

The story here is awesome, as per usual. MacKay can't do anything wrong with this book at this point, whatever the name is on the front. It feels more street-level, which makes sense after the last series went a bit bigger as a result of the event tie-ins, although there is a twist near the end that makes things a little more complicated than before.

The artwork's still great, with some contributions from previous artist Alessandro Cappuccio before new series artist Devmalya Pramanik takes over full-time. There has been some turnover of artists across MacKay's run, but they all seem to bring their A game when they're here, so it's no problem at all. Something seems to just bring out the best in the artists on this book.

Excellent, as usual. The MacKay Moon Knight train keeps on trucking.

Moon Knight is BACK...
(and nothing will be the same?)

Resurrected during Blood Hunt, MK is back to protecting the streets with his Midnight Mission. How does a newly freed Khonshu fit into this? Unknown. What IS different is the glittery powder that's flooding the streets and turning people into permanent addictions with no hope of quitting.

There's a new player in town that goes by Fairchild (he's what some would call a 'Hoss'). He's providing little bags of glittery powder...actual fairy dust...that is permanently addicting. Surprisingly (or not) his domain is growing. MK tries the usual tactic of intimidation, but that doesn't go as planned. Fairchild singles out MK and uses his control to END the Midnight Mission and it's help to the people.

----
Bonus: Who can save the people from themselves? Hank Pym? (which version would THAT be?)

Good to have Moon Knight back. This starts off fairly low stakes: MK and company come up against a drug dealer who seems to have the market cornered on "glitter," which Marc seems to think is actual fairy dust (it has magical properties). Glitter is immediately addictive and there is no treatment--addicts who attempt to kick will die. But at every turn, Fairchild, the dealer, seems to be one step ahead and when he and MK meet for a boxing match to determine who controls whose territory, we find out a possible reason why. Cue cliffhanger. My only wish here would be for the book to have a consistent artist and I guess that's coming, but in five issues here, there are 3 different artists at work.

I’m pretty glad I jumped into Moon Knight after watching the show. The split personalities of Marc Spector make for fairly interesting characterization, and then giving him a fun ensemble has made this run mostly click into place for me. The problem with ensembles in most Marvel comics is that several characters get short shrift, and that’s true here. Fairchild has made for an intriguing new antagonist and upping the stakes with the death of the Midnight Mission definitely works to get the plot moving forward in this particular run. Really wasn’t sure what was going on with Khonshu, Cyttorak, and Spider-Man in the Waxing Moon short at the end. Curious if that’ll end up being something I read more of given I tend to not delve too far into mainline Spider-Man lately.

Not my favorite within the MacKay Moon Knight saga, but a solid first entry for a new run. There are some promising developments with Tigra and I already like all of the new and old villains a lot. Cubist was a short, but very big highlight for me. I also appreciate how attacked Marc feels in this, but I hope that we don't end up retreading old waters too much with the "woe is me, my friends are getting hurt, so I have to push everyone away" storyline. I did really love the shoutout to the first Warren Ellis MK issue, though. Even though Ellis is potentially a huge prick. But what can I say, that was my first MK comic ever and I have a great bit of nostalgia for it.

MacKay's incredible run with Moon Knight continues as Marc makes his return to the living and Khonshu regains a new level of freedom. But with monsters, gangsters, and dirty cops all making their moves, Moon Knight and his companions are yet again in over their heads, this time from some unexpected directions. The excellent art, writing, and ideas that have defined this story continue and I'm along for the ride as long as MacKay wants to chart the course.

Collects #0-#5.

#0 is just there to feature all the players and what they did leading up to this series.

Overall fun, but I HATE HATE HATE the dozens of references to dozens of other Marvel series. So if you wanted to know everything, you'd have to buy tons of series you might not like. Well, that's their business model. Because they hate you.

Thought I'd check out the latest series and it's pretty cool. It's basic superhero stuff on the one hand, but with Moon Knight you're always going to get that extra taste of weird. I wasn't too familiar with 'the gang', but as they're all introduced at the beginning it's a good jumping in point. Not as good as some earlier versions, but harmless, violent fun.

A fantastic continuation of Jed's previous works on this book. really nice having the band all back together at last and the new villains and their plan to peddle a drug made of actual Pixie dust is the kind of blend of crime and the supernatural I love to see Moon Knight battle.

The new arc starts out very formulaic with hyper compressed storytelling and a lot of action in favor of character beats. Devmalya Pramanikis another artist on this series who just keeps improving. The fight in the ring between MK and farm boy in issue 5... wow.

Best comic Marvel are putting out now. Fairly comfortably. A new set of dilemmas for our hero (and his loyal crew) to overcome. A couple of shout outs to older series which is appreciated.

Alessandro Cappuccio is a terrific artist for this character, love to have him do more.

That was some solid Moon Knight. Sad to see Cappuccio leave the title, but the art still felt incredibly cohesive thanks to Rachelle Rosenberg’s exceptional coloring. Other than that, nothing else to really note. Just some more of Mackay’s great MK run

They have relaunched Moon Knight with MacKay three time and a fourth time is coming in 2026. Just make one continuous series like it is literally just another volume in the story.

Very good. So much fun and great art. The story is great. Lots to love here. Check it out. It's good on just the art alone. Solid story.
