thank you so much breana for giving me the chance to arc read this book !! the very first time i saw the promo post for arc readers and read the tropes … i immediately fell in love with it !! mafia, rival families, golden retriever stalker mmc, stabby black cat fmc, mf/ff scenes, touch him/her and you die, voyeurism, dark secrets, and all around unhinged, SIGN ME THE FUCK UP ❤️🔥
amaya stole my heart with how she gives zero fucks for anything. she is the definitely of a strong fmc. as the mercenary for her father, the rossi family, she is to be the most feared in the underworld. she does all of her father’s dirty work and doesn’t mind getting her hands bloody. she is such a baddie omg !! i felt her so deeply with not wanting to get close with anyone because they always seem to leave the second she trusts them. she guards her heart and that is something that hit me deep in my core. when she finds out who betrays her … this girl literally said good bye and good night. she begins getting close to ace when he finally introduced himself to her after all these years hiding in the shadows, she was still weary on trusting him. she felt that connection pulling them together but with her past, she can’t seem to bring herself to give in. but when they began working together and spending more time with each other, he gets taken and this girl WREAKED HAVOC trying to find him 👏 i love had the roles were reversed in this scenario. many books i’ve read it was always the girl who needed saving, but this time it was the mmc and the way it was played out was absolutely everything i needed in a strong and stabby fmc 🖤
ace omg this man had me by the throat the moment he said he was obsessed with her when he was first given the assignment to kill her. this man stalked her FOR YEARS and she never knew. he was so slick with it, like i’m concerned why i find that so hot 🙂↕️ he is the mercenary for the moretti family under the boss don. he was taken into the family after don saved him from a house fire. later you learn what really happened during the fire and why it started in the first place. but from the beginning i already had a feeling that don and ace were connected in ways that made me heart clench 🥹 i loved seeing their relationship just as much as i loved seeing how ace and amaya fell in love. this man literally rented out a motel room right across her club/tattoo shop just to keep an eye on her. he went years taking pictures of her without her noticing. and it was pictures of her doing absolutely nothing but yet he found those to be the most perfect ones of her. he supports her stabby and unhinge ways and i absolutely love him 😮💨

This book is simply PERFECTION. I absolutely ATE this book up! Once I read the blurb I knew I was going to love this book.
I am a sucker for any mafia romance but this was so good! It's short and I was able to read it in 2-3 hours so if you're looking for a shorter book but still have an amazing plot and characters, this book is for you!

I love any book where the FMC is stabby and unhinged and this book gave me THAT!! Amaya is my queen and I will worship her! Honestly, I loved how strong, confident and badass she was throughout the entire book.
Don't get me started on Ace!! Oh my god...that man!! I love how was also just as unhinged as Amaya and they work out perfectly. Not only is he unhinged but also the aftercare had me sobbing. I love them so much!!

from the moment I first saw a promo post about this book, i immediately signed up for the arc! I just knew it was going to be good and my gut was right! Breana gave me the opportunity to read it early before she released arcs and I’m so so thankful. 🩶 Ahhhhh I love Ace and Amaya. They vibed so well together and definitely matched each other’s freak. Their chemistry is amazing! 🙂↕️ the plot was also so good and that says alot coming from me because I’m not even a big mafia romance fan. But I ate this up! 🥹 The story definitely holds your attention and makes you wonder what is going to happen next! PLEASE add this book to your TBR! 🤞🏻 *cough cough* also, I would loveeee to see more of Ace and Amaya in the future. 👀 They’re a great duo and could handle anything thrown their way!

I started this book with high expectations. There was some parts I enjoyed, but I honestly thought the twist were kind of dumb. And I believe that the author should research tattoo care or get a tattoo before talking about tattoos because licking or putting saliva on a freshly tattoo will get you an infection and don’t get me started on putting cream on a fresh tattoo before wrapping it… there was some parts that I really loved like the things they would say to each other that was cute. But something they really piss me off was when the FMC just wanted to jump this guy’s bones right after rescuing him from being tortured for a week. Also WTF was she doing for a whole week clearly not finding him.

Ace is not a man you want to make mad, that's for sure. He has one person he cares about and that's all he needs.

Have you ever read a book that leaves you utterly speechless and so wrapped up in it you never want to leave? This is that book for me! I Alpha and ARC read this and I’m so happy I did, I fell so in love reading the first time and fell even harder reading a second time. While reading I was freaking out and was so obsessed, I seriously couldn’t get enough!
The tension and angst mixed with the forbidden, enemies' to lovers vibes in this book were absolutely incredible. Amaya tried so hard to resist him but she couldn’t resist the temptation of him! The obsession that Amaya and Ace have for each other is out of this world, creating a magnetic pull that draws you to them and makes you want to live in their world with them.
The way they support and are there for each other is so heartwarming. Their chemistry is electric, and it makes for an unforgettable story! What I loved most is the fierce loyalty and love that Amaya and Ace share. Amaya’s vulnerability with Ace was everything and more, and it was so beautiful to see the connection they had. They warmed my heart and soul with their love and obsession.
When reading this I didn’t know who I wanted to be more in every single scene. Amaya and Ace are such a hot bad@ss couple! Amaya is my obsession, the way she took down anyone who got in her way was everything. While at the same time, she has this cute, grumpy side that is so cute, I loved her. Ace, on the other hand, is everything you could ever want. His willingness to let Amaya take charge and his intense obsession with her was phenomenal and I seriously don’t think I’ll ever get over it!
The ending is just the icing on the cake—sweet, cute, and utterly satisfying. If you're looking for a mafia romance with lots of twists and turns, this book is it. It’s a page-turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Girl you killed it again. I was hooked from the very first line & cannot stop thinking about these two.
♥️Amaya was such a bad a** character. I love a Stabby FMC and as a mercenary for the mafia (her father) she does all the dirty work. She stands out as being strong and independent, but you felt for her and how closed off she was. She deserved more and that’s what Breanna gave us.
♥️Ace has been stalking Amaya for years collecting information for his father on the Rossi family. He lurks in the shadows and when he finally decides to claim his prize he’s in for a real treat. He may be unhinged & obsessive but he does everything to protect her and take care of her. OH BOY does he ever take care of her.
♥️The banter & chemistry was perfection, but that SP!CE ……..Girl I went absolutely feral over the power struggle between them. Our girl loves control but it was nice to see her trust Ace and give that up because damnnnn that man knows how to make her SCREAM.
♥️Ace & Amaya are perfect together and I loved every minute of them fighting against all odds and coming out on top. They deserve all the happiness & private tattoo sessions their little hearts desire. IYKYK

This book was an absolute firecracker! It's a quick read, but it packs a punch with its intense characters and captivating storyline. Amaya is the ultimate badass heroine. She's strong, confident, and completely unapologetic. Just the type of FMC I've been craving lately. I loved her witty banter and take-no-prisoners attitude. Her knife handling is incredible and that right there was enough for me to dive in. A badass woman in a mini skirt with extreme knife skills, damn that's hot Breana.
Ace is the perfect match for Amaya. He's just as unhinged and dangerous, and their chemistry is off the charts. The aftercare scenes were a delightful surprise, adding a layer of tenderness to their intense relationship. He makes her softer which is great to see, cause we all need a little bit of softness sometimes. His stalker skills are top-notch. The hidden cameras I couldn't have placed them better myself.
The only thing I missed from here was a hot steamy scene on his bike or hers or together that def would have sent me a fire. (For my benefit only, lol)
The plot was engaging and kept me guessing. I loved the rivals-to-lovers trope in this, and the author executed it perfectly. The story is a perfect blend of action, suspense, and romance. The chemistry between them is fierce there is no denying the attraction to one another.
If you're looking for a short but satisfying read with a Badass take no shit from no one heroine and a masked swoon-worthy unhinged hero, this book is for you!

This book was an absolute firecracker! It's a quick read, but it packs a punch with its intense characters and captivating storyline. Amaya is the ultimate badass heroine. She's strong, confident, and completely unapologetic. Just the type of FMC I've been craving lately. I loved her witty banter and take-no-prisoners attitude. Her knife handling is incredible and that right there was enough for me to dive in. A badass woman in a mini skirt with extreme knife skills, damn that's hot Breana.
Ace is the perfect match for Amaya. He's just as unhinged and dangerous, and their chemistry is off the charts. The aftercare scenes were a delightful surprise, adding a layer of tenderness to their intense relationship. He makes her softer which is great to see, cause we all need a little bit of softness sometimes. His stalker skills are top-notch. The hidden cameras I couldn't have placed them better myself.
The only thing I missed from here was a hot steamy scene on his bike or hers or together that def would have sent me a fire. (For my benefit only, lol)
The plot was engaging and kept me guessing. I loved the rivals-to-lovers trope in this, and the author executed it perfectly. The story is a perfect blend of action, suspense, and romance. The chemistry between them is fierce there is no denying the attraction to one another.
If you're looking for a short but satisfying read with a Badass take no shit from no one heroine and a masked swoon-worthy unhinged hero, this book is for you!

Amaya is a mercenary for her father and is definitely won’t take shit from anybody ever and will have no mercy on anyone who does her wrong. She is badass, definitely gives off black cat energy and is as fierce as they come. I love her attitude and how she will never back down to anyone even her own father.
Ace is the rivals mercenary and he was stalking Amaya without her realizing and I love the fact that he was down bad from the moment her laid his eyes on her.
Let me just tell you right now I absolutely love Ace and how he accepts Amaya’s crazy ass for who she is, I love that about him but also he is so FKN HOT, the fact that he watched her for years and I mean WATCHED a whole lot, the way he talks to her in bed and takes control😮💨🙂↕️

If you love mafia romances with a plot twist, this is the book for you! Let’s talk about Amaya—she’s not just a badass; she’s THE badass. She’s fierce, confident, and unforgettable(SO HOT TOO. She rides a MOTORCYCLE). And Ace? Oh, Ace. He’s not your hero. He’s the villain—the dangerously sexy, dark, magnetic villain you know you shouldn’t fall for…but can’t resist. Everytime he spoke I went FERAL.
This story was fast-paced, addictive, and entertaining. I had fun from start to finish. My jaw was on the floor for most of it, and the spice? Don’t even get me started. This book is unapologetically sexy, and Ace’s dirty mouth? Absolutely lethal.
What made this stand out even more was the dynamic between Amaya and Ace. The chemistry? Explosive. The sexual tension and scenes? HOT. The way that it shook the narrative of “damsel in distress”….A NARRATIVE I HATE. I LOVED that Breana gave the FMC power. She was written with power and as much as I love a man in charge, it was a refreshing change to read about a strong and independent female lead who takes shit from NOBODY. And let me just say, the opening chapter? WOW. It grabs you immediately and doesn’t let go.
The familial dynamics were very….TWISTED…is all I’ll say. And the scenes where she was betrayed by her friends…that hit home because sometimes it’s the people closest to you and I loved that she touched on that.

Amaya is the definition of a stabby FMC. She is wild, impulsive, hot headed and so passionate about her peculiar crimson tastes..
Ace is our very grumpy MMC. Also hot headed, although able to get a grip more then Maya, and obedient to the end to those worthy of his trust.
I adore the MC names in this one, LITTLE CROW and ACE 😮💨🔥 their relationship dynamic and the backstories of their opposing mafia families. There was a big twist I did not see coming, and an ending that beautifully tied it all together. I thoroughly enjoyed this one whilst on my lil’ beach trip 😮💨🖤🖤

I was so excited to receive this arc!! Out For Blood is almost 200 pages of fast-paced, rival mafia family drama with some HOT and deranged characters.🔥
I introduce you to my new favorite stabby black cat baddie: AMAYA. She’s impulsive, fiery, and resilient as she manages her role as her father’s mercenary. She’s just a little psychotic though. Nbd! 🤏🏼🔪😈 There is not one ounce of indecision in her whatsoever. She’s a woman who acts and doesn’t take sh!t from anyone. She’s such a memorable character! I LOVE HER 🔥
And then we have her perfect unhinged possessive match: ACE. 🥵 He’s been stalking her for years, and his obsession gets even more intense the more their families entangle. This is top-tier he falls first and HARD. That man has it SO bad for Amaya. Those two are equally wild and 100% meant for each other!❤️🔥 I especially loved the switch-up of Amaya rescuing Ace with the help of Don. Their bond was very endearing and I enjoyed their dynamic so much.
The plot was fantastic and flew by so fast! I was legitimately bummed when I finished it. I didn’t want it to be over! 😭 Well done, Breana! 👏🏼❤️🔥

TOP TIER HOLY COW. without saying too much, i didn’t know how badly i needed a fmc to be the hero until now. i absolutely ate this book up. i was HOOKED from the very first moment i met amaya then ace?! amaya and ace together?! PLEASEEEE I LOVED EVERY SECOND. he falls first and HARD, she doesn’t even know he exists 🤣 i love it. they really just go so good together and make such a perfect match. the chemistry? The BANTER? WEAK IN THE KNEES
amaya is your unhinged and rebellious, strong and badass fmc. i want to be her friend so bad!!! she handles her own and proves to everyone that she doesn’t need the help but with ace? touch him and you would for sure regret it instantly. i love how in denial she is about what she feels for ace, but as soon as she realizes what she really feels for him she will burn the entire world down for him just like he would for her. they’re both unhinged and freaky freaky, legit the perfect match. this entire book gave you so much in so little pages and i LOVE THAT. PERFECTION. so many unexpected twists that you won’t even see coming, literal whiplash.

4.5 star read! ARC REVIEW: Where to start? I've had the pleasure of exploring Breana Sherwood's writing before, and I was thoroughly impressed. This marks my first venture into her dark romance genre, and she truly knocked it out of the park. The male main character, Ace, is completely unhinged, while the female main character, Amaya, is even more unpredictable—if that's possible! In under 200 pages, Sherwood packs in a gripping plot filled with suspense, tension, and some of the most captivating intimate scenes I've encountered. The twists kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire read. The connection between Ace and Amaya, as they discovered and embraced their true selves with one another, was beautifully portrayed. From the very first page, I was hooked and couldn't put the book down, eagerly waiting for the next thrilling moment. I'm excited to dive into more of her work. I wholeheartedly recommend this book, and I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did—especially when they claim each other in their unique ways.

I’ve read a few mafia romances and I feel like both of the family dynamics were different to what I usually read—I really liked that, it was interesting 🫣
Amaya and Ace are obvious soulmates 🔥 Their connection was unbreakable, as if they were always meant to find each other no matter what obstacles fall in their way.
They would BOTH burn the world down for eachother without any hesitation, both characters are their own unique cocktail of badass, loving, smart, and mfkn sexy. Hear me out…give me both of them please 😭🥵
All in all this was a quick read that really pulled me into their world and lives. I felt like I was sitting on Amaya’s shoulder most of the time just witnessing everything unfolding and let me just say 10/10 experience✨ These characters have depth, strength, and a courage that I loved reading!! As soon as I finished, I couldn’t stop talking my bestie’s ear off 🤭

I love this book! It’s so much fun to read a story that has a strong FMC and an obsessive yet sweet MMC. It’s so cool to have two mercenaries fighting against each other yet falling for each other. This was a fun ride with lots of surprises And a very enjoyable plot line.
I loved Amaya and her fiery, confident, one that doesn’t wear her heart on her sleeve type of personality. She’s one of those that pushes people away because she’s afraid of getting hurt yet when Ace comes into her life, all of that changes. She opens her heart and puts her trust in him and ends up falling in love with the one that should have been hunting her in the first place.
Ace is such a perfect MMC. Icy blue eyes, attractive, yet willing to do everything for Amaya. He is the one that was supposed to destroy her and her life, yet becomes infatuated with her and willing to “burn down the world” to protect her. He is caring and ends up having an interesting storyline as well.
You should definitely read this book if you love action, spice, and two mercenaries who are willing to kill for each other 💋

Ace and Amaya omg!! I love them so much. I was hooked from the start and absolutely did not want to put it down. Their banter and chemistry is amazing!! I love seeing such a strong fmc and Amaya is out of this world. She’s not weak or shy, she’s strong and independent also so feisty and full of fire!🔥Ace is just as amazing but also very protective and possessive which we love to see 🥰 I’ve never read a mafia romance before but I devoured this book!! This story was so good and I would love more of Ace and Amaya!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Delicious vibes, spicy romance, and a love story that was both possessive and heartfelt—what more could a girl want?
Amaya, my love 😩🥵 holy heck!! Did someone say dominant FMC because Breana delivered! From the first sentence I was hooked and ready to see what kind of journey Amaya was going to take me on (and I wasn’t disappointed). And Ace🧎🏻♀️lord have mercy!
I really enjoyed the power dynamics within this story and how Amaya was a “take no sh*t” kind of woman.
Without rambling too much or giving everything away, just know this was a lovely read and you need to read it yourself if you haven’t! ❤️❤️

I just want to say that I absolutely devoured this book! this book follows two mercenary’s that work for rival families and are brought together by secrets. this book has stalking, hidden cameras, and knife play. amaya & ace were everything for me. this is a MF/FF book and omggg😩. I loved how in this book it was the mmc that needed saving and not the fmc. Ace’s love for amaya really showed through and the fact that he’s been down bad for her since following her when he was first assigned to stalk her 😮💨😮💨.

Ace has me in a 𝑔𝑜𝒹𝒹𝒶𝓂𝓃 chokehold. There were so many things about this book that I just fell in love with. Ace and Amaya's attraction, their devotion, their protectiveness even before they knew each other well...or at least before Amaya knew Ace 😉 they were made for each other. Their love is a "you're mine or I'm burning this world to the ground" kind of love. Amaya proves that whole heartedly. This is a must read if you love a sadistic fmc, a devoted mmc, and a love that will go to the ends of the earth no matter who stands in the way.

I was arc for this book and honestly, I finished in four hours. It was such a good book. Everyone knows I love my dark romance and spicy books and this was it and Amaya.(FMC) was such a bad ass. I love her character and I also loved Ace. I didn’t want it to end if you guys are interested in a dark romance to read this spooky month then definitely check it out. This book gets released on Oct 30th

This book has it all, dark and k!nky, enemies to lovers (que rival mafia families), quick banter and tons of action.
I couldn’t not get enough of these characters, even the ‘side’ characters.
Breana brought to life a group of complete bad@sses in such a phenomenal way, it was like watching a movie in my head.
The club, the cameras, the betrayal, the love. It’s all so good.

Ace and Amaya are both from rival mafia families who fall in love (he falls first). They are both obsessive and crazy for each other. Their family drama will keep you hooked and wondering what’s next. Ace is a grumpy, obsessed with a touch her and die quality 😅. Amaya is a bad ass who gives no f’s, loves her knives and owns a strip club/ tattoo shop. Oh and the spice is 🥵 this dark romance will definitely keep you hooked!

Mafia Romances never misses, and this one definitely did not disappoint. I love badass couples amd Amaya and Ace were definitely that. I absolutely loved how unhinged they were and how equally possessive and obsessed they were for eachother. Their chemistry had me kicking my feet and giggling. I could not put this book down, it was such a fun read!

Our FMC is a total badass, and does whatever she wants. Our MMC is a total lunatic, and I couldn’t be in any less love with him. This is dark, and twisty and I was sucked in from the very start! My emotions ran high, and I was not disappointed with the ending. It was perfect, and the spice was chef’s kiss.
