I figured I'd wait until I completed the whole series before leaving a review!
Once you start, you will be addicted!
This whole series was absolutely incredible and will stay with me for a long time!
The characters were well developed, and you can't help but love them (at least the main ones lol)
I had a hard time putting these books down. They kept me hooked from book 1 to book 6.
Looking forward to checking out more books by this author!

As a huge fan of Kaufman's I loved this series and this 6th and final book is a great way to end this family saga! In this one Michael has just lost wife, Mandy to cancer and son, Daniel has been kidnapped. Justin is now a grandfather and all the requisite "crazy" characters re-emerge and kept my head spinning for days! The great thing about this series--beyond them being terrifying thrillers--is that each one is more brilliant than the previous installment so you. can't be "done" until Kaufman is!
Thanks to the author for this ARC!

I finished all 6 of Rob Kaufman’s books in the Justin Wright series. I loved them. I could not read them fast enough! It was such great dive into mental illness that other books simply let us assume the killers are crazy. Such a satisfying conclusion to all the horrid things that happened to this family.

I am a giant fan of Kaufman and I have been devouring this series. I didn’t love the writing style of this book but the ending NAILED IT and closed this series out better than I expected or could have hoped. I thought I had the story figured out and I am pleased that I was wrong. I will miss Justin Wright as I absolutely loved him and I am so grateful he came to life in my world for as long as he did.

The best of his writing

I was only going to read the first book. I had other books lined up. But then I went to the 2nd, the 3rd, etc.

This is the best series Rob Kaufman has written. I read it in three days. I gave my son a sanitized version of it- he enjoyed the story too. I loved the characters, everything. I couldn’t put it down.

I enjoyed the final story in the Justin Wright series, but will miss the world and its strong, resilient, and authentic characters.

The story is riveting and intriguing after Justin’s grandson, Daniel goes missing. Michael is the father of Daniel and struggles to move on after his son’s disappearance. He finds his own demons with a former client, Benji who is hell-bent on making him suffer.

Michael also struggles with a current client who is diagnosed with paranoid personality disorder. He gets entangled into his world when past triggers restrict the way he’s able to help his client.

Time goes on and Daniel is still missing. Meanwhile, Justin has a dark cloud looming when a former client, Richard gets released from prison, having been convicted for attempted murder against Justin years prior.

Justin ensures he gets police protection, not knowing how to predict Richard’s actions.

Later in the story, the situation changes, but I never expected the story to end the way it did. I would have preferred a little less darkness and greater joy, but it is a dark thriller.

Despite the dark intensity of the story, it was a suspenseful and page-turning novel that made me lose sleep.

The entire series is brilliant and so well worth the read.

This story was okay but it seemed to me that they did not look for Daniel as hard as they could have. I put more effort into looking for my dog that got loose.
But, that's just me.
