A nice one-work volume.

The sorry does get confusing at times; turning page after page I noticed many nods to Murakami and his works.

In the afterword the author confirms his love for Murakami.

Personally, I'm not a great fan. After reading about 7 of his books I came to the conclusion that he's not my cup of tea.

But this comic did have strong references to "1Q84" and "Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World
Article Talk", which are my favourite of his works.

Overall, "Console, 2073" is an enjoyable read. It could've been better laid down (sometimes I really felt like the narration jumped from one point to another) but I can see the dedication and the concept of the story.

L'autore si è ispirato alla sua esperienza personale di affascinamento da un NPC. Onestamente non ho apprezzato molto né i disegni né lo svolgimento della storia. Ho trovato la serie di vignette molto caotica, la trama banalotta. A livello emotivo mi sono sentita molto distaccata dalla storia d'amore. Non ho apprezzato in generale la lettura.

Très sympa cette aventure dans le monde virtuel des jeux vidéos, ça parle à toute notre génération qui s’est déjà retrouvée à se plonger dans d’autres mondes et vouloir y rester plus longtemps. J’ai bien aimé comme petit à petit on ne sait plus bien si on est dans la réalité ou dans le jeu, les deux se mélangent bien et on remet en doute les perceptions du personnage principale. C’était intéressant pour cet aspect là. Les dessins crayonnés avec son style particulier sans être peaufiné rendent l’expérience plus amatrice mais du bon côté avec de la générosité au niveau de l’histoire et peu de chichi dans le dessin.
