Her Solid Ground

Rate this book
Elliott Joseph "Easy" Tanner was a quiet and observant man, most times choosing to watch instead of speaking, always patient and willing to wait for the right moment. And he'd thought he found it with Keona Mikayla Ross. Their love was the perfect balance; she was the bright spark to his quiet nature, a firecracker to his silent sky. Then two years ago, she left without an explanation, breaking his heart. Now Keona's back, with eyes full of fear and secrets. But she's as quiet as Easy about what drove her home. Can he get the truth out of her? And when he finally knows everything, can they pick up where they left off?

This was a cute continuation! I love that Elliot and Keona had a good second chance and they were able to being their family together.

I would’ve liked a bit more focus on the reasons behind the separation, what happened with Keona while she was away, and extent of how vile/dangerous that situation was. Because it was mentioned enough to be relevant, I personally would’ve liked to have it incorporated more into the plot. That wrap up felt really rushed and I wanted more.

So I skipped the first book in this series because I really wanted to read this one.
Key and Easy had a bit of a second chance romance with a surprise baby.
I loved this story. I loved the characters. I loved how Easy didn't play about his family.
Now I gotta go back and read the rest of the series.
