Much like the first book this is goofy and amusing. The characters are enjoyable and for the most part well written. Though there is not a lot of character growth. The environmental awareness is really hammered in, in this book while it was only lightly pushed in the first. While the book was enjoyable I kept finding myself wondering when Captain Planet was going to arrive. It was a little heavy handed.
