There are several different plot angles intertwining in this volume. Mint is unaware of a lot of the power struggles and motivations so her straight forward reactions are really evident while the other characters have complicated agendas. Prince Eloween is an interesting character who is valiantly trying to survive his mother's machinations. This is the most recent volume with more to come in the near future. The main story has approx. 116 chapters.
SUMMARY: Threatened with assassination by the Emperor, Prince Eloween asks Mint to be his fake lover for three months in exchange for Yurion's life, which Mint accepts. Prince Eloween shows his affection for Mint in front of the Emperor (his mother) in order to show his closeness to Mint, and when Julius is displeased with this and warns the prince, the prince tells Julius not to meddle. Angered by the prince's appearance, Mint is worried about Julius, who seems to be in a bad mood in the carriage on the way home.

Okay so I completed the whole series right, wiritng was medicore, I feel lole the author had no idea in what direction they wanted to go ( ship wise)
Like why was the supposed "father figure" then a "brother figure" and then a romantic interest??
What about all the side / other male leads ???
Not to mention there was just so much (imo) plotholes in this, there was def potential but this rlly felt like,, author didn't have a plan and word dumped onto a page. Props to the artist for actually adapting this and for its artstyle because I actually really like mint, but oh my the story was so mid im sorry
