Sheila meets Derek at the library where she works while he’s looking for some romance novels for the teenage daughter he’s raising alone. After numerous disappointing relationships, Sheila gave up on dating. Meeting Derek shows her there are other ways to get what she needs.

This is the first in a series of Sheila's erotic adventures. While the series ultimately becomes an erotic romance with a happy ever after, this book is a self-contained erotic story.

This book is about a shy librarian coming out of her shell; or should I say busting out of her shell. Ms. Sheila came out swinging and knowing exactly what she wanted. I was so happy to see a woman doing the things she wanted to do with no repercussions. This dirty librarian definitely peaked my interest. I really enjoyed this book and will be looking for the next adventure of Ms. Sheila. Short and spicy. Exactly what I was looking for.

Short and sweet, lots and lots of spice, and not everything nice. This was a nice little tromp of a read! Sheila is feeling empowered and takes advantage of some opportunities she finds herself in while at work. Very spicy, don't read around people lol 😂🔥🔥

Sheila is a woman in charge and taking her s*x life back. In her thirties Sheila is all about self discovery and no long term commitments with mediocre men. This book is erotic but still has a story line, ending in a cliff hanger leaving you wanting to read more.

Too much smut and very less content. In whole book heroine was only shown horny rather than someone's love interest for real. Derek and Sheila could have been better choice to build up content on romantic journey with whatever intense and intimate moments author wanted to but such contents where only s*x is used to provide uncultured acts to misguide the readers to follow suit was so wrong. I thought while getting this book for an ARC that it would be one good read on one's personal desires and his/her life experiences on some love trip but this was so weird to read and digest.
Initially it started so nicely with Derek but with the unwanted entry of Brandon spoiled the whole matter.

There were few points that author forgot to re-read and improvise.
For say, "Sheila didn’t know that one off the top of her head. She headed towards one of the online library terminals to check for that one when Pete entered." - Page 13 {Chapter 1: The Library is Closed}; She was librarian and 3 titles gone off her mind?? How could she be a librarian of didn't even heard of books?
“We’d better find some books, then. I’ve read one of the books on your list, so I can suggest a few like it. Hopefully, one of them will work for tonight.” - Page 17 {Chapter 2: Something Better}; how come she read beyond 3 books because earlier she said she didn't heard of any on the list?

Though one appraising quote that caught my mind was, “Tell me what you want. It’s so hot when you take what you need or tell me what feels good. When you feel good, it makes me feel even better, and that’s so hot.” - Page 69 {Chapter 10: I’ve Got Plans for You}

This was my first read by Penny Heart and it just wasn't for me. It didn't deter from reading more though. I did love that the FMC was empowering herself and learning her own body. Just know that while it may not have been for me, I didn't think it was a bad book. I'd definitely read it and form your own opinion.

A great start to a fun and sexy new series. Booked for Lust is the PERFECT name for this series and Browse is the perfect start!

This short read was packed full of the spiciness I was looking for. I’m not used to short reads, so I felt like I was missing a little plot and story line, but I realize in such a short story it’s hard to add a lot of depth and keep it short, sweet, and to the point. Not a lot of grammatical errors which is nice when trying to really get into the story. I read this entirely too fast 😂. Some word choices maybe weren’t my favorite in some of the more intimate scenes, but that’s just my preference and everyone likes different things. I love strong women in books, but I also love seeing women grow and find themselves and learn more about who they are and what they like. It left me wanting to keep turning the pages to see what happens next. Would highly recommend to someone who loves a short read and wants the story to get right to the point with no slow burn. Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Shelia is checking the library after closing and finds Derek in the romance room with a mountain of books. He's trying to pick some for his daughter who's home sick. As Sheila sorts through the books on the table they realize they're attracted to each other. They fool around before picking a few age appropriate books. Feeling empowered Shelia decides she doesn't need to pick guys for long term relationships but wants to explore friendly hook-ups. Sheila flirts with Chuck as they wait for take out and later makes plans to go bowling, hoping to break her dry spell. Read this book to see what happens now that Sheila's openness attracts multiple men. Who will break her dry spell? Will it be Derek, Chuck or Brandon, the rep for the company upgrading the library's archive system.

Sheila was once a shy librarian until one night after work hours she meets Derek who is looking for a romance book for his daughter, so she decides to narrow his choices down and in doing so they discover a fondness for one another. This is a very spicy book. It was a short and quick read with a cliffhanger. So if you like spicy stories and don’t mind a cliffhanger than this book is for you. This is a first read for me by this Author and I surprisingly enjoyed Sheila’s adventurous side, she’s a woman on a mission of satisfaction because she knows what she wants. I would recommend this book to fans of the Author and to those that like spicy reads. I can’t wait for the continuation of Sheila’s story. I was gifted an ARC but I am voluntarily leaving my own opinion in this review.

My favorite thing about this book is that the main female character is early 30s and curvy.
In the story, Sheila says “I need to learn to cook something beyond grilled chicken. And maybe get a social life so I spend less time talking to inanimate objects.” I started laughing so bad because, Girl, Same! 😂

I loved that all the spicy scenes were different, in every possible way. One thing I didn't like, and it is probably just me, I don't like the weird names for things (like globes, hard points) because it kind of takes my mind out of the story. Also I wish there was more/some flirting in the first scene when she meets him.

This is the first story I have read by Penny. It is a nice short very spicy read. The book has a cliffhanger.

Sheila is a librarian. Derek is single dad of a teenage girl. Chuck is seeing her casually. Brandon works for a company upgrading the libraries computer system. She imagines two of guys at the same time. Brandon gives her the attention that she needed that day.

Will they all have a casual relationship with her? Who tries for her attention the most? Let's finish reading to find out!

I love a short spicy book that can't be put down, which is exactly what Penny gave us!

Shelia, a librarian who is over relationships, did not expect to meet Derek one night while doing rounds preparing to lock up. Helping him find books for his teenage daughter to read ended up leading into much more than she expected for that day at work. Shelia is that naughty librarian with multiple partners whose story ends in a bit of a cliffhanger.

When librarian, Sheila, decides to make her life a little more exciting she finds a couple of men more than willing to help her.

Playing into a well used trope this short story becomes a rollercoaster of Sheila's sexual encounters as she embraces a no strings attached sex life. Sadly, though it started well, the story feels rushed and lacks tension and chemistry (probably due to it being a short story).

This was a quick spicy read. This was about Sheila who was a librarian. She was closing up one night and Derek was there. She was doing her closing rounds and that’s when she heard him on the phone. Turns out he was getting books for his daughter who was sick and she needed something to read. She ended up helping him out. He also helped her out and this was one of her fantasies. He had to leave and she finished her closing routine. She met Brandon at work and they had a great dinner and they didn’t want it to end. So it didn’t. So good.

Well written, fast paced novella. Full of everything- drama, romance, heat, twists and excitement. Sheila is a librarian who likes things with some steam after holding herself back for years. Derek shows u at the library looking for a book for his daughter. Sheila and Derek have some serious action and steam between themselves. Curl up and enjoy this read, does end on a cliffhanger. So the wait will be till the next story comes out. Would recommend .

Browse is book 1 in the Booked for Lust series. Shelia has had a disappointing dating and sex life in her 35+ years. She has given up on dating. She meets Derek, who ignites her desires and decides No Strings Attached is the way to go. This is a very spicy story about Shelia's sexual awakening and maneuvering through her new lifestyle.
I will continue to follow this series and books by Penny Heart.

This is the first book I’ve read by Penny ❤️ and it’s a keeper!! She doesn’t let Sheila slow down once she’s made her decision to pursue an orgasmic cataclysm. I love the connections she made with her sexy acquaintances: their adventures in the bedroom are beyond intense and awe inspiring. If you are expecting an HEA, this book is not for you. This is not a romance. If you are familiar with Penny's other books that are sweet romances, this is nothing like those. That being said, if you like an erotic novella about a woman exploring casual situationships that is exactly what you will get here. Lots of steamy scenes with more than one partner.
