Never Mate a Sex Demon was a bit of a rollercoaster. It kicks off with a dream encounter that introduces Adrian—a hot, sinfully flirtatious incubus who’s hard to resist. As the story unfolds, the deal between him and the main character (MC) goes beyond what either expected. Adrian's smooth-talking, seduction, and hidden wounds kept me curious, and just when things start to get really juicy, we meet Ethan, the charming, crush-worthy coworker, sparking a whole new level of drama.
Honestly, it took a while to hook me, and I didn’t feel truly invested until the last few chapters. Then, BAM—major cliffhanger. I would have appreciated a heads-up about that because cliffhangers aren’t my thing! If you’re like me and prefer a bit more closure, that might be a dealbreaker. But to be fair, the writing itself was solid, and even though the spice scenes were repetitive, I’d still give them a decent 3 out of 5. All in all, while I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, it wasn’t a bad read either.
