It was a whole book of spice, which I figured going in, but for a book of spicy, I didn't see it as that spicy. It was like she wanted to call it spicy, but there wasn't enough in it for me that's for sure. Especially since there wasn't any plot to make up for it. Don't get me wrong is was an easy fast read. Did I have fun reading it? sure. However, would I reread it or the other books in this series? I don't think so. If there is no plot I want it steaming to the point where it feels like my fingers are going to burn from how hot it is. That is not the case in this story sadly.

Yikes. Her first orgasm with Sebastian ? Made zero sense . Zero physical or emotional build up. Even if she was being examined, the scene wasn’t descriptive enough to support that she’s getting enough friction to orgasm and there was no emotional buildup prior to him inserting his fingers (the doctor) that was strong enough for an orgasm. I have never met a woman who can orgasm on the spot. Pretty lucky I guess? I literally said out loud , what the hell?

His secret obsession but then admitting he wanted to have a baby with her ? Face palm . WHATTT?!?!? The author doesn’t make you believe they have ever interacted with one another for more than a moment in passing .

The amount of times I am finding myself going WHAT?!? Because nothing makes sense .

He feels more predatory than sexy . She calls him Seb like they are close acquaintances and he calls her baby and claims her ?!?!!

He can’t be mad that his brother took all her first when she just said a page prior that his brother never ate her out . So that literally isn’t an accurate statement .

Put a finger down if you’ve ever walked in on your boyfriend having a ménage à trois, and then find out that he’s actually been cheating on you with like A LOT of people for a while now. So you schedule an appointment with a gynecologist to get a full work up to make sure you’re free and clear of any STI’s. And honestly - that’s just good sexual health smarts. But when you get to the doctors office, it’s not who you thought it would be, but your now ex-boyfriend’s older, hotter brother who’s about to be all up in your bits. Oh, and you had fantasies about having sex with him WHILE you were with his brother to get through things. Instead of leaving like any sane person would, you let Sebastian do the exam on you. Only for him to lowkey finger bang you and orgasm all over his fingers. But while you’re getting off, he’s removing your birth control. Because plot twist, he’s been into you for a long time and now that he knows his shitty brother has cheated on you, he’s determined to make you “his” and put a baby in you. (Breeding kink much?)
After being thoroughly embarrassed, you leave and tell your girlfriends about it and then go about your business. In the meantime, your ex calls you and wants to meet up, give you your stuff back and beg you to take him back. (Don’t do it girl! You’re too good for him!) You agree to see him one last time. But what you don’t know is that your ex will also have his brother (ya know, the finger banging doctor) over at his penthouse while you’re there.
Said doctor calls you that same day for you to come into the office, where he admits his feelings for you and then makes you come all over his face and his dick in his office. Cancels all of his appointments to do so too. You let him know that you’re into this, but you have to go to your ex’s one more time. He lets you go with the reminder that you’re “his” now and to not forget it.
So you get all dolled up and head to the dickhead ex’s apartment. You’re surprised to see Sebastian there when you arrive! You give your ex a piece of your mind and let him know that you won’t be taking him back. Like ever. You excuse yourself to go to the bathroom, and Hot Doc follows you in there to bang you in his brother’s apartment to really drive the point home that you’re with him now. And on the way out, you both shove your new relationship in his face.
Later that night as hot doc is edging the bejesus out of you, he lets you know that he’s going to bun up that over and he way overstepped the patient-doctor relationship your first appointment by removing your birth control. But you’re into it and want his baby, so it’s all good. Skip ahead three months and you’re pregnant, living your best life and basking in your couple-y glow with your man and your besties.

Your finger still up? Weird. If you wanna read something that’s just like that scenario, this short story is definitely for you! Spice is on point and it’s a guaranteed HEA with an age gap. And it’s only 57 pages, so it’s a quick and easy one.

Love Sebastian and harpers romance so much especially since Sebastian is Harley’s ex boyfriend hotter older brother. Not a fan of Sloane since he cheated on harper with women multiple times and harper opens up about her parents and talks about Sloan’s parents who are rich and love the friendship and book club sinful reads between harper and the girls and very spicy between Sebastian and harper in this novella and love the text thread between harper and the girls and the other text thread between harper and Sebastian and love that harper and Sebastian both has fantasies about each other and love the age gap between Sebastian- 35 and harper- 25 and I just love reading Ashlee rose writing and loving this series so much and loving the book club sinful reads with the girls and the ending between harper being three month’s pregnant with Sebastian baby and celebrating floras birthday and something goes wrong and the firefighter shows and one of them is floras step brother Silas and I can’t wait to read there book next in the series and just love that this a quick spicy read and love that harper works in a coffee, florist and book shop all in one and these sinful reads novellas are set in London

Doctor/patient? 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙠. Age gap? 𝙊𝙝 𝙮𝙚𝙨. And the ex-boyfriend’s older brother angle 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙣! It was the perfect storm of tension and temptation, and every page kept me on the edge, unable to stop reading.

And let’s be real—the 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴 were just… 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹! Ashlee managed to blend spicy, tender, and bold moments in ways that just had my jaw on the floor. I was practically fanning myself. Ekkk!!! So many wonderfully kinky things in these 41 pages. The doctor's office. Multiple times? Listen, that is not a kink of mine, but maybe for a role play idea it should be tried. 😜

Were we supposed to catch that foreshadowing? As soon as it was read, my internal squeal of what's to come was evident on my face. Then it happened. 🤗 Harper is correct. That was not.

Also, the level of petty and possessives Sebastian has over Harper is stupid hot. Is there a sign up sheet to purchase men like that? Where should one go to find themselves a Sebastian of their own? Asking for science.

The title of this series is most certainly living up to its name because these novellas are deliciously sinful👏🏼

This is the third book in the sinful reads series and this book follows Harper, who is just after finding out her boyfriend has cheated on her and she does what every logical woman would do and books herself in for a health check. But this wasn’t going to be as straightforward as harper thought I would be as while she is in the doctor’s office Sebastian aka her ex-boyfriend’s brother walks in as her doctor. I think you can put two and two together and see where this is going👀

Also I loved Harper, she really stuck it to her ex and showed him that she deserved a whole lot better. His loss was his older brother’s gain. I mean her ex didn’t treat her the way she deserved so his brother seized the opportunity and worshiped her the way she deserved💅

This novella is spicy and the perfect read❤️

I need the name of this practise because youre girl is transferring. Ashlee Rose’s short, pure smut novellas are just delicious if you need something hard & fast. She goes from 0-60 in 0.000002seconds and keeps you hooked with all the filthy wickedness. This has to be my favourite sinful read so far 🥵 I inhaled this. Its only 50+ pages but damn, it hit every spot.

This series is definitely living up to the pure smut factor. Super fast read, utterly filthy smut levels. Harper got notified via social media that are other half has been checking but what broke the camels back was seeing him with two girls at once. She goes to the doctors recommend by her friends, but she got the shock of a life time in more ways then one. Enter Sebastian, her exs hot older brother. Seb has always had feelings for her and always thought she was better without Sloane. The absolute favorite part of this was when they finally got in the same room! Absolutely was like i was in the room with them and goes “YASSSSS”

Love short novellas filled with plot and spice! I was definitely not disappointed as there was some drama and it was spicy! This is the third book in this Sinful Reads series and I loved it. The ex-bf’s hit older brother and slight breeding kink were 🔥. Loved that we get to see the other characters from past novellas as well as future novellas to come. Really enjoy the found family vibe throughout and can’t wait for the next book!!!

I've read the first two and this series, and I LOVED them, but this one?! DAMN, Ashlee, it was something else entirely, although. If that happened to me at a gyno appointment, i'd probably walk into oncoming traffic. But the fact it was HER EX BOYFRIENDS OLDER BROTHER made it so much hotter man, i actually can't. The scene at her EX BOYFRIENDS was actually something else entirely. It was perfect, payback's a b and all that.

Wtf did I just read? I wanted a cute and short novel but this isn't it.
The biggest turn off? He takes her IUD without her knowledge because he wants to impregnate her. In a world with abortion bans and women who cannot decide for their own body this kind of narrative is awful. My body is my choice.
I wanted to see FMC getting her life together, falling in love and creating emotional connection with Seb and then having all the smuty and happy ending they deserve.

in that same light - you can't put an "I love you" in a 50 book in which the couple was not together from the start.
also - medical malpractice alert - felt very icky - she's his patient and he literally only did an internal exam because he wanted to finger her not because it was medically necessary

Very short enjoyable read

Only 20 minutes...yes, I am a fast reader! What happens in that 20 minutes? Absolutely everything I could have wanted in a quick read. FMC finds out her Boyfriend is a total loser sleeping around on her. She goes to the doctor to get a quick health check and who walks in but his older, more goregous brother. He gives you an O while on the exam table! OMG truly delicious.

Would I recommend? Yes, but not to my mom.

If you're looking for an extremely short and fast paced smut read then pick this up. There is definitely a little to no plot and heavy smut. I liked the whole concept of cheating and forbidden romance/relationship, revenge, and a HEA. The age gap was a plus and of course I would have loved if she went deeper on the whole plot story line and longer but its meant to be like that and I do recommend to all readers looking to enjoy a little smut literature before going to bed. Definitely delivers!
