It should be an easy rule to follow - don't bang your boss...
But I didn't know who he was when I met him.

And the first time I saw him, our connection sounded like the stuff of romantic legends -- that whole "their eyes locked across a crowded room" moment that turned into more.
I didn’t believe it. . . . until it happened to me.

Fine, the charming, clever, sexy-as-sin guy in the tailored suit was only trying to buy the same Snoopy lunchbox (as a gift!), but still, our eyes totally locked, and my lady parts definitely tingled as we vied for the prize.

Naturally, I did what any badass business woman would do. Negotiated for the lunchbox, then found my what-if guy online and made plans to see him the next night.

One night only -- that was the deal we made.

But one fantastic night had us both changing our minds in the morning. And making plans for another.

Until I walked into the office to learn he just bought my company.

And here’s the biggest rule of romantic legends -- no matter what, don’t bang your boss.

Especially if you’re already falling for him.

I don't know how Lauren Blakely do this, but she ALWAYS nails in the rom-com world!

I'm in love with Logan and I'm completely addicted to Bryn!
She's sassy, mouthy, a real good person, and a strong empowered woman even when life haven't been taking easy on her.

Both, Bryn and Logan had relationship's scars, trust issues and weren't looking for anything really. Their connection just naturally happened and was impossible to not feel it.
Their banter and text exchanged were just to good to drop it, but maybe a little too long in their building relationship.

I'm not into animal or "things" POV, but the cat's POV were a funny addiction to the book. Grumpy cat Bruce and Queen LT were something else.
Amelia is like other kids in Lauren's books... Smart, cute, sweet and perfect.

I love how mature her characters are. Not a single ex drama or anything too childish for an adult rom-com. Not every book has to be high on angst.
This is a light and swoon reading, with good laughs, and a few reaaaally hot moments.
Exactly what I needed!

_______________###_______________

A lunch box brought them together...

****3.5 stars****

I enjoyed The What If Guy mostly. Lauren Blakely's stories are easy to read and always leave me with a smile on my face. The characters were original, the storyline kept me entertained, and the sexy times were really HOT! The chemistry between Bryn and Logan was the highlight of the story. I absolutely loved that they had found the perfect partner in each other, in and out of the bedroom.

It was actually a bit of a change for me to read a Lauren Blakely instead of listening to the audio. I liked reading it but I know it took me a lot longer to read than it would have taken to listen. Some of that could have a bit to do with the characters being so career-driven. I've never really understood how a career can take precedence over relationships. So, besides the bedroom, I kind of struggled to connect with the characters.

Don't send out the pitchforks but this wasn't my favourite because a lot of the story centred around the main characters cats. I don't dislike cats, it's just that I'm not really a pet person. While I laughed at the chapters with the cats, I also struggle with the concept of the cats playing such an integral role.

As I mentioned above, I finished this story with a smile on my face and I really hope we get to catch up with the characters in the future.

I love Lauren Blakely book!! They are always fun sexy RomComs with feels.

I met Logan in the last book I read of LB’s, Dear Sexy Ex-boyfriend. He is Summer’s twin brother and a divorced single dad and I knew his story was going to be good.

Bryn is a great character that is career driven. She lost her mom, who was also her best friend and soon after her marriage crumbled.

The “meet cute” for this book was awesome. The progression of their relationship was believable and mature and I loved this book!!

Can I mention that Bruce and Queen LT are PUUURRRRRfect and I’m a dog person.

This was a cute easy story with not a lot of drama. I listened to the audiobook and loved the dual narration with Joe Arden and Andi Arndt. There were even narrators for the H/h cats, which I loved.

5 Bryn and Logan Stars

Lauren Blakely writes gorgeously sexy and fun books and this was no exception. I love her style and the the warmth she always brings to her stories and there was lots to really enjoy about Logan and Bryn.

Logan is a single Dad and at 32 he is divorced , a loyal friend and the CEO of a really successful company. Bryn is 28 , ambitious , really likeable and is carving a new life for herself after she lost her Mum suddenly and her marriage fell apart. I thought the way these two met was very entertaining. There is an instant connection - a soul deep recognition of a person you absolutely need and should be connected to. This is a very insta lust / insta love story and it works very well given what both of the lead MC's have been through. They meet before they ever find out that Logan is Bryn's new boss and I felt for them when they realised it may not be possible for them to continue dating once the business connection was made.

One thing that struck me about this book was that both Logan and Bryn were very straight talking , honest and had good communication. Every time I thought something popped up that might cause some angst or problems, it was broached , dealt with and they moved on. There is no angst in this book. There's no righteous indignation, no anger - no negativity at all really. For right now , it was the perfect escape into something that was romantic, pretty ,positive , funny , swoon worthy and everything was tied up in a beautiful epilogue bow. The narration by And Arndt and Joe Arden was excellently done.

I do like to peruse reviews of books before I read them and also afterwards. Whether I loved a book , found it ok or discovered it wasn't for me, I enjoy seeing why other readers felt the complete opposite about it or had the same feelings as I did. In the What If Guy , there are a few short chapters from the point of view of the H and h's cats. Now, I found this absolutely hilarious and was laughing out loud whilst walking around listening to it. I am a cat person so I totally identified with the Cats' points of view and enjoyed it immensely. I did notice that most of the lower star ratings were by readers who were not feeling the kitty cat vibe. So, just be warned that there are chapters from the cats. Purrfect imo.

HEA? Yes. Gorgeous but only a year in the future - but still very satisfying.
Cheating? Nope. These two are INTENSE about each other. Seriously, no one else would get a look in. Both very loyal. Both very into each other. Lots of sexy times and it's all pretty hot and yet also romantic.

I enjoyed the premise of this one, but the story itself felt SUPER rushed. Within just 3 or 4 days, the characters were telling each other they loved each other. That is nuts! There was no angst or build up in this one - no drama, no conflict, just smooth sailing from the first moment on, which can be fine depending on the book, but with this one it made the book feel like it lacked substance. I went with 3 stars because I did enjoy the plot, the writing, and the audiobook narration, but felt like because the book was so short, the plot moved way too quickly and therefore made it harder to feel attached to the characters and their relationship.

A fun, flirty and sexy rom-com.

Heroine: Smart and sassy Bryn Hawthorn LOVES her job. She’s the boss lady in charge of content for a lifestyle website. She wasn’t particularly looking for love, but certainly wasn’t opposed to a night out with the sexy and charming man she met while buying a vintage lunch box.

Hero: Single dad, Logan Clarke, is Bryn’s new boss. Of course they didn’t find out about this until the morning after they had an incredible date that ended up with them doing the horizontal tango and leaving them wanting more. Logan had been weary since his divorce but doing anything with Bryn is effortless and it brings out his unrestrained alpha maleness.

Sexiness:. Bryn and Logan have incredible chemistry from the moment then lock eyes on each other and the back and forth between them comes naturally and fluidly. The fact that they can be themselves and balance each other also factors into their combustibility. Finally, they’re very open and honest, and communicate maturely. It’s no wonder they fall hard and deep.

Plot: They know they shouldn’t date each other, but it’s difficult for them to resist the pull. The plot is straight forward and enjoyable in its ease. I loved having Logan’s friends back to help them along as well as two very cute felines who got their fair share of cute viewpoints.

Feels:. This story read itself with amusing wit and steamy sexiness.

Facts: The What If Guyis book #2 of The Guys Who Got Away series by Lauren Blakely. It is told from various points of view with a happy ending.

Blakely does it again! This is my favorite book from Queen LB so far. I haven't read all her books yet but I'm slowly going through them.

Joe Arden and Andi Arndt are both two of my favorite narrators and having Emma Wilder and Santino Fontana doing the cats pov's was a perfect choice! I love them as narrators as well! I laughed out loud during the male cat Bruce's chapters. It was a great idea to bring the cats pov's in the book. I absolutely loved it. It was a nice touch.

Amelia was very cute, funny and cool.

I wish all audiobooks were narrated duet style like this book is. I have become addicted to it. It's honestly like a movie in my head and I was so happy when I realized this book was being narrated that way.

I also loved that we got bloopers and extras at the end.

More duet style narrations, more bloopers and just more Blakely books please!

What a sexy romcom! Sparks fly from the start in The What If Guy and the chemistry between Logan and Bryn is nuclear. It's equal parts workplace/office and single parent romance. One thing I really appreciated about this story is how open and honest our characters are. They aren't ashamed of what they enjoy, aren't afraid to vocalize it, and they completely own it. They both have been burned in the past by lies, so honesty is incredibly important to them. There isn't any unnecessary drama in this one and when speed bumps do arise, they discuss and solve things like mature adults. Yes, there's quite a bit of instalust/love between our characters, but the connection they share really makes it work. The POV chapters from the furry characters were hilarious too and added just the right amount of humor.

I both read and listened to this book and the duet narration by Joe Arden and Andi Arndt was fantastic. I have to say that Joe Arden was especially delicious in this one. His "enthusiastic" performance as Logan definitely had me fanning myself while listening. ;) I also loved the cameos by Emma Wilder and Santino Fontana. Bruce's chapters were some of my favorite and I hope to hear Santino Fontana on more of Lauren Blakely's books in the future.

Hooooooooooooly swoonfest!! This story is just the best kind of entertainment there is! It was an all around fun time with delicious sexy mixed in all wrapped up in a whole lot of heart!!

First … the meet-cute was just … I’m giddy just thinking about it!! #Snoopy

Second … these two were like something out of Candyland (and not in a bad way lol). They were just so easy to read! Lauren created exceptional characters in these two and made them perfectly compatible so the story could develop without angst and heaviness!

I’m come to appreciate Lauren Blakely so much in the last few years and especially this year. Her stories are lighthearted but not simple. The plot is always developed nicely and without holes. The characters and their actions are humorous with great chemistry. Above all, it’s just not over the top anything. They are just great stories that will put a smile on your face!

5 SMOOCHES!

Straight out of the gate, Lauren Blakely took me right to my happy place with her latest romantic comedy, The What If Guy. If you’ve followed my reviews, you know I am a huge fan of Blakely’s writing, her romcoms in particular. The What If Guy is right up my alley—this was my jam. Fabulously flirty banter, electric chemistry—the kind that had me looking around to make sure no one was reading over my shoulder—and a wonderfully entertaining plot that was low on the angsty drama but high on the good stuff like the connection, the relationship, the romance.

Single dad, Logan, was everything I love in my heroes. He was commanding without being domineering, alpha without being arrogant. He was thoughtful, he was kind, and it all came together in a wonderfully hot and handsome package. Bryn, the heroine, was sharp, vibrant, and a woman who knew what she wanted. She was driven and successful, and I loved her whip smart wit and her unapologetic sexuality. Oh yes, this couple was FIRE.

An unexpected meet cute that didn’t quite materialize and ends in a missed connection. Kismet—with the help of a little technology—intervenes to turn it around for this couple. Fate is a fickle mistress, though, and right after an unbelievably fantastic first date, she steps in again to throw an unanticipated workplace wrinkle into their budding relationship. This is where the fun begins. The do they or don’t they, the push and pull—the what if—that Blakely does so well. The kind of chemistry she creates on the page between Logan and Bryn make ignoring it entirely impossible.

The What If Guy by Lauren Blakely was a bit forbidden but that just made it more delicious. Lighthearted and heartwarming, this feel-good story was romantic and steamy, witty and charming, and full of all the easy feels I love from this author. Five smooches from me for The What If Guy by Lauren Blakely!

4 STARS

The What if Guy is book #2 in the Guys that Got Away Series. It can be read as standalone. This is a story filled with Lauren Blakely’s usual heart, humor and heat which I can never get enough of. I adored the witty banter between the two main characters and couldn’t get enough of the sweet, flirty moments and the feline comedy.

The book and storyline start off strong with an adorable meet cute.

Logan is a divorced single dad. He is Summer’s twin whom we meet in Dear Sexy Ex-Boyfriend. He has spent the last few years focused on work and his daughter and has made no time for dating or relationships.

Bryn is a super confident, successful woman. She is the VP of a lifestyle website. She has had some terrible luck with men including a cheating ex husband and also remained pretty career focused until her first encounter with Logan. After some reflection she decides she should take some of her own dating advice from her work and try to reconnect with Logan through a dating app.

The chemistry between Logan and Bryn was instant. Neither had felt a connection to another the way they did at first meet. They engage is some serious sexy times and the steam factor was off the charts. Logan is commanding and completely dominating and Bryn loved that. After their seriously sinful, passionate night reality kicks in and they realize too quickly that they have to halt a relationship from developing. After this point there was a little push and pull and wavering on how they can make things work but it wasn’t too drawn out or overdone which I completed appreciated.

What didn’t work for me was the cat POV chapters. The dialogue was interesting and I appreciate the humor Lauren tried to add in but I am not sure it really made sense with these characters. It felt out of place and if omitted would have made this a 5 star read for me.

Overall I loved this story and look forward to Fitz’s story next in A Guy Walks into My Bar.

Well.. well...

The What If Guy was freaking good and hilarious. I never knew how much I needed a POV from two cats until I dove into this book. They made me laugh so hard and oh lord, definitely made this book way better in my eyes. In it, you will meet Logan and Bryn. They ended up meeting each other through an app. Of course, they were both wary about it and they do have some scar's from past relationships too.

That being said, I wasn't surprised one bit about anything that happened throughout this book. Yes, they had trust issues but these two had a really amazing connection. They didn't have too much drama in the way either other than that fact that he magically became her boss. Yet, that didn't stop them from getting to know each other.

To say that I died a little from laughing too hard when I got to a cat's POV would be putting it lightly. Never knew that a cat would get such joy over a can of tuna.. or a scratching post. Then again, I have two dogs that are obsessed with cheese and zero cats.

Definitely enjoyed the heck out of this book and look forward to the next book in this series. Yes, I know I read them out of order but this one was available on audible (lol).

This is book 2 in The Guys Who Got Away series and it can be read as a standalone. Loved this story so much. Great workplace/single dad rom-com that will have you laughing one minute and swooning the next. Loved Logan and Brynn. The connection was instant from the first time they meet. They had a great chemistry that was so hot. It was so much fun watching them fall for each other. Great read that will leave you smiling when you are finished. Can’t wait to read the next story in this series.

This is a sweet, snappy, flirty, and dirty rom-com with a lot of heart and even a kid and a couple of persnickety cats.

Logan Clarke is a divorced single dad who has not really had any relationships in the past couple of years. He is busy with his financial work, his daughter, and his friend...and has trust issues.

Bryn Hawthorne is VP for a lifestyle website. She is smart, direct, and thrives on being a lady boss. She loves her work and team, and writing lifestyle pieces. Sometimes life imitates art and they test their articles in the real world.

They have an unexpected meet-cute moment but ended up going away unsatisfied. But what if? With a little help they find a way to connect again. They shared one amazing night that was more than they could imagine, but then the next day real-life kicked them in the a**.

But can they do the right thing and avoid the pull or do they take a risk and deal with the consequences?

I loved them together. Logan has been jaded and cautious, but she makes him want to be more spontaneous and brings out the dirty, alpha side of him. Bryn is able to be herself and be honest about what she wants and needs. They just get each other and are compatible in ALL ways. They have such fun and flirty banter, and their chemistry is hot hot hot! They are the perfect balance for each other during sexy times. But there is just one big problem that seems to overshadow everything.

I loved getting more with all of their friends and some fun cameos. I loved that they had cats with their own personal motivations and that he is an amazing single dad. I enjoyed the fact that they acted like mature adults, and believed in honesty and communication. There is not a bunch of unnecessary relationship angst. I liked that even though it was steamy, there was relationship development in other ways as well. It is just an enjoyable witty, sexy read with lovable characters. I am so excited for more with the hockey player, Fitz, and hopefully his teammate Ransom too.

Elizabeth 'Bryn' Hawthorne is VP of content for The Dating Pool site. Logan Clarke is in media finance and has now acquired The Dating Pool site. A divorced father to a little girl, Logan hasn't really dated more recently, similarly Bryn after her break up with her cheating ex hasn't either. They meet at a gift shop where they both want the same snoopy lunch box. Gazes are held, sparks fly and Bryn and Logan are quite taken with each other. Alas they go their separate guy without getting each others number but in this day and age of social media apps, they make a post on a Made connections app and get reconnected.

I quite liked them together, their conversations were interesting. They were funny, flirty and sweet together. They both have cats, love snoopy lunch boxes, have a shitty ex and work in media. They connected from the moment they met, apart from the whole they can't be together at the moment because Logan's her boss now. Their story is quite a smooth sailing, resisting each other is difficult but they don't really try hard. They are good people who deserve happiness. They were cute, sweet and so was The What If Guy.

This is quite shorter than what I was expecting, added with the fact that they had technically only known each other for 3 days, of which they spend on together and had one date. Granted it was a smashing date and they have great connection and chemistry. Then they find out that Logan is the boss of the company where Bryn works and not even two weeks later Logan and Bryn are ready to tell everyone at work they are together now. It just felt a little too quick for me. Also we never really get to know Logan beyond superficial level, we get quite a lot of Bryn's life in comparison but the bare minimum of Logan and his daughter.

Don't really remember if I've read Cat POVs in Contemporary before, I might have. The most memorable one is from the Robin D'Owens Celta's heart mate series but they are telepathic familiar cats on alien planet but I digress. I found it strange here but came to accept it later on in The What If Guy.

It's perfect someone looking for light contemporary (low on angst), funny and short read with lovely chemistry, cast of characters and a easy plot to get lost in.

DNF. I hated both main characters. They take all the thrill out of romance by being know-it-alls who narrate the chemistry between them in their heads.

It's my fault for picking up a Lauren Blakely novel when I've never liked one before. The premise descriptions always get me. This one sounded like something I would like. Far from it.

The What If Guy is the second book in the Guys Who Got Away series and it was such a fun and sweet read and I have been intrigued by single dad Logan since the end of book one!

Bryn and Logan meet in typical romcom fashion, they’re both going for the last Snoopy lunchbox when their hands brush against one another. So begins a battle of words over who gets the prize, with a lot of flirting thrown in too. When their meet cute ends unexpectedly with no way of contact, they must find another way back to each other. Bryn works as a VP for The Dating Pool, an online dating lifestyle magazine, and her friend realises this is the perfect opportunity for her to try out a new dating app, Missed Connections, where you place an ad for the person you missed and see if they respond. Bryn, doubtful at first, is suddenly amazed when she reconnects with Logan, and their first date ends with sparks flying everywhere. But when she turns up at work on Monday to meet the new owner of The Dating Pool, the last person she expects to be in the board room is Mr Lunchbox himself. Will they agree to keep their relationship professional and end things before they both get in too deep? Or is it too late?

This book had minimal drama and angst, maximum steam and such a sweet meet cute. Bryn was such a strong boss lady, I loved her independence, her lack of need for a man, only a want for the right one. She put herself first and always stayed true to herself. Logan was business-like on the outside and absolutely filthy in the bedroom. He could be his true self with Bryn, which he couldn’t with his ex, but his love for his daughter was the icing on the cake for this hero. Both Bryn and Logan had been hurt by past relationships and weren’t in a rush for anything new, but their initial connection was too strong to ignore, and they found their way back to one another through unconventional methods. Their bond over their cats and love for strangely named bands only made them more perfect for each other to me! I have never read a book where there are chapters from the point of view of the pet cats, but I have to say it was cute and different!

The What If Guy was such an easy read and I would recommend it to anyone who loves romcom movies, and I can’t wait for Fitz’s book next!

This book is everything! The perfect mixture of swoony, sweet, naughty and humor. Finding love again after being scorned is so hard, both Logan and Bryn are extremely relatable characters making their romantic meeting that much more enjoyable. As their connection grows stronger with hot banter and effortless flirting you’re falling right along with them. The love growing in this story is so pure it’s palpable. While you listen your heart pitter patters during adorable moments, your body temperature rises at those deliciously dirty rendezvouses and then you get the warm and fuzzies as it continues to their happily ever after.

Logan is such a perfect gentleman but behind those closed doors he is oh so bad. Bryn is a boss babe to the max but finds allowing Logan to dominate her in the bedroom is everything she could’ve desired. It’s refreshing to have characters with such compatibility, openness and trust in each other! Bryn and Logan bring out every great quality in one another in the best way possible making it a truly perfect match. I love their love.

The narration is utterly fantastic, the vast talents of Joe Arden are displayed front and center as he plays Logan. He’s always been able to evoke emotions in listeners but THIS story, man he really pulls out all the feels in a big way. He will sink into your heart and then light you on fire. Andi Arndt never fails to deliver in her performances and yet again kills it as Bryn. She amazes me at times how easily she brings these epic badass heroines to life without losing their softness. Andi is a master at her craft.

Emma Wilder and Santino Fontana! Omg! Hysterical! The voices and attitudes they brought to the felines who were secretly running the whole show is one of my favorite parts of this audio. Connor Crais killed it with the internet voices and it was an awesome treat to have him pop in! The What If Guy is by far one of the most entertaining books I’ve listened to. Lauren Blakely yet again proves she just keeps getting better and better.

OVERALL REVIEW & RATING: 5 STARS

Hooooooooooooly swoonfest!! This story is just the best kind of entertainment there is! It was an all-around fun time with delicious sexy mixed in, all wrapped up in a whole lot of heart!!

PERFORMANCE REVIEW & RATING: 5 STARS

Joe Arden narrated Logan perfectly. The rumble in his voice and speech cadence fit Logan’s impeccably and turned up the sexy sexy to a whole new level! Andi Arndt was perfect as always and really did a marvelous duet narration with Joe and let’s not forget Emma and Santino as the cats! Those cats added comedic relief and didn’t even feel OTT at all! Super job all around!

This is my second time around listening to this story and it will not be the last. It’s easy to get lost in a Lauren story and if you ever just need an escape, she’s the writer you want to escape to! #trust

STORY REVIEW & RATING: 5 STARS

First … the meet-cute was just … I’m giddy just thinking about it!! #Snoopy

Second … these two were like something out of Candyland (and not in a bad way lol). They were just so easy to read! Lauren created exceptional characters in these two and made them perfectly compatible so the story could develop without angst and heaviness!

I’m come to appreciate Lauren Blakely so much in the last few years. Her stories are lighthearted but not simple. The plot is always developed nicely and without holes. The characters and their actions are humorous with great chemistry. Above all, it’s just not over the top anything. They are just great stories that will put a smile on your face!

The What If Guy by Lauren Blakely

The What If Guy is the latest in Lauren Blakely's RomCom repertoire and is possibly her sexiest one yet. After the meet-cute all meet-cutes aspire to be, and reconnection like no other, Brynn and Logan discover that Logan is in fact, Brynn's new boss. Queue the shock and horror. They do their absolute best to keep things strictly on a professional level but who are we kidding here? The chemistry was off. the. charts. There was no way these two could keep the sexy things out of the relationship! Le sigh.

I lovvvvve single parent romances and Logan is probably one of the sexiest single dads around. I loved his relationship with his daughter - it was so sweet! He’s never been given the opportunity to express himself fully in a sexual sense and he’s delighted to discover that Brynn and he are two peas in a pod. Brynn herself has never had the freedom to just let go and vocalize her needs and she thrives in that regard with Logan.

These two characters really set the pages alight with the heat factor but I would have loved a little more heart. Both Logan and Brynn were extremely likable characters and I’m looking forward to more glimpses of them going forward. While I loved the main characters and the story itself, the cats really stole the show for me. Lauren Blakely writes brilliantly from *any* point of view - be it human or otherwise!

*I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.

This was such a wonderful and heartfelt story. I loved this getting out there after heartbreak side. Andi and Joe did such a wonderful job narrating this one duet style. I loved how they portrayed Bryn and Logan. Their romance was swoony, sweet, funny and sexy. I also, as always, loved all the side characters - I love how Lauren incorporates friendships, as one important plot. Also this one was even more special and funny - because of the cats. Bruce and Queen LaTofu were adorable, super funny, and just amazing. I loved how they saw the world, and how they interacted with their humans - Emma Wilder, and Santino Fontana did a wonderful job bringing a smile to my face with their kitty chapters.

So, just your regular hit from Lauren. Full of love, and fun times. Now I just can't wait for August - the month my brain will boil over, and my heart will melt with A Guy Walks Into My Bar

The What If Guy is the second book in The Guys Who Got Away series. It still reads as a standalone, even though some familiar characters from other series, and the previous book show up here. Logan and Bryn have the sweetest meet cute, fighting over a Snoopy lunchbox. You can tell these two have an incredible connection right from the start. But, they both leave without getting each other’s phone number, yet eventually find their way back to each other through an app. It turns out that he is her new boss, and things have to come to an abrupt halt there. The banter in here was out of this world, like some of the best banter I’ve ever read in a book! It’s a fun, steamy, office romance that I would highly recommend.

I loved this book, from the meet to the chemistry to the conclusion it was exactly what I love about romance. Low on drama high on love and friendship and flirtation, I really just enjoyed these characters.

I also really liked that when a problem arises they come to a conclusion that works for both of them.

The cat POV’s, maybe if they were at the end of the book I don’t know it seemed to take me out of the story. I liked them but more as a side story thing. It cute sure but there was another book I read that had this and it just isn’t really my thing. And I LOVE cats. I don’t know I guess we all just like what we like.

The narrators were perfect. Joe and Andi are fantastic <3

3.5 Stars. Andi Arndt and Joe Arden narrate. I loved the meet cute in the first chapter.
Santino Fontana & Emma Wilder play their cats- Bruce and Queen LaTofu.
Funny and sexy, I liked this more as the story went on.
Logan seemed a little stiff, and then more relaxed and open to having a relationship.
Bryn had a bad break up a couple of years before. Logan is a single dad, he's also divorced after a bad break up (is there ever a good break up?)
I love how capable Bryn is, and how she holds her with her employees and when she discovers who is the new CEO of her parent company.

“What if your what-if guy is looking for his what-if girl?”
📚🍷👯‍♀️
THE WHAT IF GUY is a sexy single dad standalone romance that is now available.

This steamy office rom com will have you laughing and swooning. It also has some unexpected feline friends. 🐈 Meow. The characters were refreshingly real and mature. If you are looking for a fun quirky read, dive into this one. Blakely definitely knows how to write sexy with some wit.
Thank you candikanepr for the arc!

Notes:

#19 on Read All the Books on Audible Escape Before It Poofs

Narration was great but the story was a little too cheesy & tongue in cheek in a kind of way that didn't really work for me.
