There has yet been a book I didn't love from this author. First, the book got me out of a significant slump. I feel the author upped her A-game for this one. I have to say, so far, this book is my favorite. I need to book two right now. I have to be patient. But don’t let that discourage you.
So when I say run and don't walk to buy this book, I mean it. As always, read your trigger warnings. It's not for everyone.
Did I sit down and read this book in one sitting? Yes, I did; I was captived from start to end. Warning you will brush off all adult responsibilities.
There is just something about nerdy techs that is just super hot. Get ready for Jake to blow your knickers off. You will love him. The chemistry is off the charters. The plot is phenomenal—ten out of five stars for character development.
Another fantastic read from Ann-Marie Davis, one for which I highly recommend.

Okay, so I'm going to need book two, like right now please!
This is another incredible read from Ann-Marie, honestly everything she does is great and this is no exception! This book gripped me from the get go and lets face it who doesn't want to read about a sexy, tattooed nerd? Jake is honestly going to become a lot of peoples next book boyfriend!
This is an absolute must read if you're a fan of Ann-Marie! And if you haven't read anything by her before, then you simply must!

Another masterpiece from this author - We meet Adelaide, an introverted computer geek, while she celebrates her birthday. One thing leads to another and she winds up in the arms of Jake, a mysterious, possessive, intelligent alpha male gifted in both computer science and dirty talk. However, their relationship is not plain sailing. Adelaide has a secret eating away at her; but can she come clean? And will she be forgiven?
I really enjoyed this book. It is offered as a standalone read despite it being part of the Blackstone Tech universe of which the previous two books I haven't yet yet (they are next on my list though!). As always, the writing style is very easy to read; the chapters shift POV between Adelaide and Jake and, in doing so, the writing style changes highlighting the shift in character traits. There is tangible chemistry between the two with scenes of banter, bickering and also steam.
The author's attention to detail in character and plot building is masterful as is the suspense built throughout the book. The cliffhanger was expected but that didn't make it any easier to read and I audibly groaned when I turned the last page - how on earth am I going to wait for the sequel! Another brilliant read from Ann-Marie Davis and I'd thoroughly recommend.

This book was completely refreshing. Not at all what one would expect from Ann-Marie. However thats what makes it fabulous. This story was pieced together perfectly. I'm just sad i have to wait for the next book. It has been a while since I read a book start to finish in 1 day. When i say this book hooks you. It does. Its such a different story line. You just get sucked in and it won't let you go. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did.

She might be young and an introvert and might prefer to stay behind a computer screen instead of being social, but she also has a sassy side that I absolutely adored. And her genuine fangirling over tech made me smile so much. Adelaide is one spectacular woman and I absolutely adored her!
Jake is the owner of Blackstone Tech. I’ve loved him since book one and he absolutely won me with his loyalty, directness and nerdy t-shirts and tattoos. He’s one rich, hot, mysterious, dangerous and absolutely irresistible bad boy. Even more, I loved his fierce protectiveness, delicious dominance and possessiveness. Jake’s past has not been an easy one and his family history was absolutely devastating but he’s such a magnificent male and I couldn’t get enough of him.
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Adelaide and Jake. From the moment they met, their chemistry was undeniable. Those two were so nerdy and naughty. I loved their banters and bickering and that they understood each other so well and had so many common interests. Even more, everything happening between them was so intense. The spicy scenes were blazing hot and I loved that Jake knew exactly what Adelaide needed and he more than delivered. But there were dangerous secrets and discoveries threatening to tear them apart and the trust between them was put to the test. Nevertheless, Adelaide and Jake are a spectacular match and so perfect for each other. And with how this book ended, I cannot wait to see how their story will continue.
Overall, Decoding Adelaide is a fantastic age-gap hacker romance story and another incredible addition to the series. It’s filled with suspense, thrill, action, tension, twists, scorching hot romance and magnificent characters.

Oh my god. This was absolutely WONDERFUL! How have I not heard of this series before now? Between the hacking/coding nature of the FMC and the rich air that circles around the MMC, this book was interesting and kept me engaged from the start to the end.
I am SO excited to read the next book, because that ending left my mind reeling. The suspense made me feel like I was a part of the story and the characters all had distinct personalities and growth. I really want to read the first two books in the series now!
5 stars, and I SWEAR TO GOD, if I could rate it higher, I would!

I absolutely loved everything about this book! The spicy in this book was exquisitely written and the plot was everything! Adelaide is a 19 year old hacker with a conscience. She sets out to take out bad business but ends up in a group that doesn’t exactly see things the way she does. In walks Jake on her birthday and he becomes completely obsessed with our FMC and he is 100% my new book boyfriend! He is hot and smart and a Tech company owner! The chemistry between these two is immaculate! But of course something stands in the way…. Highly recommend! Spice is amazing and plot is amazing!!!!

Adelaide is a 19yr old introvert, nerdy, computer hacker who lives in her parents basement & would rather stay there then go out on the town! Her only physical friend is the opposite, over the top partier & puts Adelaide in some not so good situations!!
Jake is the sexy, older, tattooed, nerdy, rich, possessive, bad boy boss who saves Adelaide on her birthday & then can't get enough of her!
I really liked the nerdiness of both characters! Jake is at the top of my book boyfriend list!! I can relate to Adelaide in being an introvert and being awkward! Adelaide's computer skills gets her into a situation she didn't expect, so she is in a bind. How she handles the situation shows just how young she is. By the end She frustrated me in how she handled it & I just wanted her to tell Jake the truth.....just spill it all BUT if she would have, there wouldn't be a second book SO I will sadly wait!!
This book sucked me in! I LOVE suspense & mystery books with twists and turns!! The cliffhanger didn't smack me in the face because I had already put two and two together BUT where it stopped..yeah...Book two is GONNA BE GOOD!!
The sex scenes are 🔥hot🔥 Jake is dominating & knows exactly what Adelaide needs! The department store scene!! 🤯🥵
This is the first book I have read written by Ann Marie Davis and I really enjoyed her writing style. I haven't read the other two books in this series & look forward to reading them & her other books. I definitely recommend Decoding Adelaide!

Holy crap, I can't wait for part 2!!!
Decoding Adelaide is gonna blow you away!!
Adelaide is out celebrating her birthday with her friend Monica. Adelaide is an introvert and is more comfortable at home, behind her computer, than dressed up and partying. Adelaide has a friend from online that goes by Merlin she was hoping would meet her at the club, but he didn't show. She cant stop thinking about the hot guy that helped them get into the club though.
After something traumatic happens to Adelaide, Jake (the hot guys that got them into the club) comes to her rescue.
There is so much more to it than just that, I just don't wanna give anything away!! This is a book you just need to experience for yourself!
I love Adelaide! She is an introvert, but has such a sassy side!!
Jake is the perfect book boyfriend!! He is a possessive alpha and is gonna go to the top of your book boyfriend list!!
I love Jakes relationship with his sister, it shows so much about who he is as a character.

Ann Marie Davis does not disappoint; I feel like I say this often about her work. It is always so spot on and a story I didn't even know I needed! We are introduced to Adelaide sneaking into a club for her 19th birthday. From the moment Jake allows Adelaide into the club, sparks are flying! As par for the course w/ Ms. Davis, the romance throughout the book is all shades of steamy, hot, f--ktastic sex! Seriously delicious writing!
There is a nerdy, basement girl and the nerdy turned HAF Tech CEO that swirls around the dark world of hackers. Jake and his guys are definitely rough around the edges and if you are keeping up with the series, they are familiar. The way Ann Marie wrote this story is even more than I was expecting. There is a scene in the story that talks about the friendships cracking and starting a slow descent to breaking. It was written so perfectly for the feelings and personalities in the book. I read it and thought, this is freaking amazing.
I finished this read quickly and cannot wait for the next book to see where this ends! Definitely give Ann Marie Davis a shot! @theoriginalmrsp

I don’t even know where to start… I’m honestly speechless
Decoding Adelaide is book 3 in the Blackstone Tech series and Part 1 of 2 for Jake and Addy’s story, you don’t HAVE to read the rest of the series to read this but I do recommend as they are AMAZING stories and they give you more of an insight.
I have been waiting for Jake since Ann-Marie released His Obsession and this did not disappoint.

I really enjoyed this book. I absolutely LOVE Jake and Adelaide is just as cute as can be. She's deeply entrenched in the cyber world, but lives in her parent's basement which causes her to be completely naïve when it comes to interactions in real life. I knew Jake was going to be swoon worthy during that very first scene in the club. He's just *sigh* sexy. I love their quirky banter and geeked out love of all things computers. When she starting admiring his computer and fired off questions about its capabilities, I laughed because it seemed she was having a fan girl moment which was endearing. While she was fan girling, Jake was seeing her in a whole new light. However, that scene in the conference room towards the end BROKE. ME. I cried... a lot.
The plot itself is intriguing with lots of secrets that we still don't know the answers to. I won't spoil it beyond that because it's best to go in blind. The only drawback for me is that the first half of the book dragged a bit and just as it was getting into the meat of the plot with lots of action, it was over.
I'm very much looking forward to book 2 because we need to find these bad guys and end them.
The plot itself is intriguing with lots of secrets that we still don't know the answers to. I won't spoil it beyond that because it's best to go in blind. The only drawback for me is that the first half of the book dragged a bit and just as it was getting into the meat of the plot with lots of action, it was over.

Holy wow!!
This author just keeps creating these fictional dream guys for 𝗺𝗲 (I mean us 😉) and I am so here for it. Jake is no exception, he’s earned his place right next to all of my favorite men by this author. I mean who doesn’t love a sexy, tattooed, dirty talking ‘nerd’. Sign me the ‘F’ up! I really enjoyed his character overall, he’s loyal, protective and super sweet. If I’m being honest I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Adelaide. She felt a little immature but as she grew as a character she also grew on me- her relationship with Jake had her coming out of her shell. I can totally relate to her introvert behaviors so I appreciated that as well.
This author continues to create these stories full of all the things I love in a dark and steamy read. This book kept me engaged and flipping the pages just waiting for the other shoe to drop and oh boy did it- that ending had my jaw on the floor. I need book two badly! I would highly recommend this book along with the others in the series (while you can read them as standalones you get a bit more background into the supporting characters by enjoying them all)

Sexy computer geeks for the win! In Decoding Adelaide, an introverted hacker heroine finds herself falling for an older, billionaire tech mogul. Cue the nerdy banter, a little angst, and tons of steam alongside secrets, lies and deception.
Decoding Adelaide is intelligently written and it’s clear that Ann-Marie did her research when it comes to computers and coding. This meticulous level of detail is part of why this is such an engaging read, really pulling you into the story and enabling the reader to connect deeply with the characters. The connection between Adelaide and Jake is powerful and passionate, and Jake has that OTT possessive hero vibe that I can’t resist.
An intriguing plot with a dash of mystery, relatable characters and surprising twists and turns made this age-gap romance really stand out. This book ends of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for part two! I highly recommend giving this book a try if you like your romance with lots of detailed and intriguing plot, especially if you are an age-gap fan!

I highly recommend giving this book a try if you like your romance with lots of detailed and intriguing plot, especially if you are an age-gap fan!

I absolutely loved this book so much. Despite reading it slower than I’ve read all other Ann-Marie books I found the story page turning with lots of little twists to keep the reader’s interests.
I love how Ann-Marie creates really unique characters that all link to one another throughout her writing. I especially liked the small mentions of her previous characters from the Moreno series to show that despite it being a separate series they are linked in the same world.
I loved the ups and downs of Jake and Adelaide’s growing relationship and the tension between them at points was incredibly written. The ending as well hints at the upcoming drama in the next book and created a perfect cliffhanger for this book.
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and I think people should read this book for all the twists and turns. It is ideal read the first two books in the Blackstone Tech series to understand some references but equally I feel someone could read this book without having read the previous two.

I have read Ann Marie books befor and she again doesn't disappoint me with Decoding Adelaide!
Adelaide is one young girl who totally grab me from the beginning. I find so much resembles with her character that make me love her even more. She is definitely one sassy spitfire,but in the same time a bit awkward, her humor make me to die laughing the whole time reading the book and I definitely enjoy every moment.
Jake Murray my tech man, the epitome of the best book boyfriend ever! He is everyones weet dream,who is so possessive and doesn't gives up from what he wants. I swear the whole time reading the book this man was given me buterfluffy !🙈
I love them so much together,the banter between them make me to crack,but in the same time the chemistry was over the top making me to blush. I just adore them,but the cliffhanger in the end finished me for sure. Now I can't wait to read book 2 because until I find what is going to happen next with them i will not calm down.

This is the third book in the Blackstone Tech series and we've met Jake before in earlier stories. He was way more than I expected! Jake is a computer tech nerd type but I wasn't expecting the psycho/possessive, generous and sweet guy that is Jake. Adelaide is a young women that is a grey hat living in her parents basement. She's an introvert and has one friend and spends her time in online groups with online friends..until she meets Jake. Their worlds collide and there's instant chemistry between these two. Ann-Marie Davis did not hold back on the twists in this book and I was constantly evaluating and calculating what would happen next. This book was very refreshingly unpredictable and had outstanding character development. There's a big reveal at the end that will leave you screaming for the next book!!

Ann-Marie Davis has done it again in this thrilling next segment to the Blackstone Tech series. This is Jake’s story- the epic computer wizard who is not only a complete genius when it comes to computers, but hot as all get out! In a chance meeting, he finds himself drawn to the slightly awkward, but gorgeous and intelligent redhead- Adelaide. She’s also a complete genius with computers and a self-proclaimed nerd and introvert.
The chemistry throughout this story is ON FIRE! The steamy scenes are amazing and the character development is even better than the first two stories. And I can’t forget to mention the twists and turns and excitement throughout the story.
I think it’s safe to say that Jake and Adelaide are my new favorites…. Yeah, actually… no question. They are. HIGHLY recommend this one!!!

4.5 stars. I was pulled into this story from the get go. As someone who’s done programming I could totally understand Adelaide’s excitement with code that does what it’s suppose to do and her drooling over the specs of Jake’s computer tower. Her 19 year old self definitely showed with her inability to process her emotional swings and relying on her one extroverted friend to get her out of her safe space and socialise. She has her online chat group friends and her RL best friend, Monica’s hand-me-down designer clothes to keep her dressed appropriately for the few occasions she heads out.
This is book 3 of a series and I followed the characters easily without having read any previous books. As this is only Part 1 of Adelaide’s story, I need Part 2 NOW.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! Decoding Adelaide is another amazing book By Ann-Marie!! I have read all of her books and every single one gets you hooked and left wanting more..
Jake and Adelaide have something in common their love for computers and they do have an age difference which only adds to their story.
There are twists and turns some you see coming and others blow your mind....
The ending got me realising that I would have to wait until Reclaiming Adelaide to find out what happens..

If you have ever read any of Ann-Marie’s books then you are going to want to grab this one ASAP. This wasn’t her typically writing and it made the story so much more enjoyable. I mean come on who isn’t going to fall in love with a sexy af tattooed nerd… I know I sure as he!! did. This book grabbed me from the very beginning. The flow, the characters they all meshed together so well that you are sucked in and by the time you know it you are at the end. This is one of those surprising reads that you will love and beg for more.. MUST READ

This book was really good. Very well-written, and I've always loved Ann-Marie Davis' writing style. I really liked the immediate connection Jake and Adelaide seemed to have, and their chemistry was undeniable. I also loved Jake's jealousy and possessiveness when it came to Addy. Overall, the storyline was so interesting, I had a hard time putting the book down. Definitely a very intriguing start to Adelaide and Jake's story! I would definitely recommend this one!

This is an absolutely amazing book. The storyline kept me fully intrigued, loved the hacker aspect and the younger FMC Adelaide that comes off naive but then is a computer genius. The sexual tension and steamy scenes are hot AF.
It’s well written with such detail and emotion, I loved the twists and suspense and honestly couldn’t put the book down until the very last cliffhanging word.
Can’t wait to read more if this series.

Jake set his sights on Adelaide and oh boy did things get steamy. I love the push and pull at the beginning of the book, Adelaide actively resists and Jake just plain won't let her. I liked that the hacking storyline did not overwhelm the book, it added so much tension and danger while not overshadowing Jake and Adelaide's relationship. I am on pins and needles waiting to see what happens next, this book stops right when things are about to go boom.

Adelaide was probably one of the most relatable FMCs I’ve read as she seems to be just a regular 19 yr old awkward hacker living her best life in her parents basement and I loved that about her! I also loved that Jake has claimed Adelaide and fully leaned into it. I am curious how that holds up under the revelations at the end of the book. The steamy scenes were great and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

This is the first novel I have read by Davis and I admit to being impressed. The story line was intriguing to read about a female character who is into computer hacking/gaming/programming. Unbeknownst to her, she falls for the man who owns the company she is enlisted to hack into. An engrossing novel that included suspense and romance which is always a favorite mix to read. Excited to read the next novel in the series!

This book omg was amazing. When I say I read it in one day I read it in one day. This book starts of with Adelaide going to a club with her friend for her birthday where she meets Jake. These two are perfect for each other. This book throws some major twist and that ending omg omg omg. You leave it there? Why? Like omg? I can't wait for the second book to their story.
