The Establishment is after them once again and they have orders to capture and return Gabriel to Taxore, there to face the wrath of his father Cal-Tan, the ruler and God of that realm. He is seen as a traitor to his father and his realm, and therefore must be disposed of. Meanwhile Jonah is about to face death once again, and this time he does not want to go through the process of reincarnation once again, however our group know that they need the big man in the final battle against Cal-Tan and his goons, if they are ever to stop the slave trade, and whatever new project the God figure has in store for Earth. With the help of their spies they get to know about a secret meeting which has been moved from its original place, and is to take place in a much more heavily guarded and secure place but thanks to the very well trained group of Ebony's warriors an attack is planned in the hope of stopping the Establishment for good. This book is riveting, full of action and heart wrenching moments especially when Gabriel is taken to Taxore and forced to face his nemesis and greatest fear. I cannot wait to real the next book in this very thrilling series, and the battle of good against evil!
