The author has beautifully brought down allegory from Upanishad for the better understanding of the subject. Words from ancient texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali was included as well. The book very well encapsulates the teachings of various philosophy, religious text, etc. For someone who doesn't really practice yoga or meditation, I hardly had any knowledge regarding the subjects mentioned in the book, except the little idea, I got from my high school physical education book. But if you think this book is just about yoga, meditation and attaining enlightenment, I must say, it is not.
