God, I love Meg Silver's writings! I am never disappointed!
This is the 2nd installment of the Calais County trilogy and what a great ride it is. I did love the 1st a bit more than the 2nd but this one is a close 2nd.
Again Meg always delivers great characters with a great premises for a story. This one has some sneaky shenanigans go on and even though you have suspicions you still are surprised.
I always find Meg's story telling to be intelligent, and obviously well researched. I am impressed that her lead women are unusual, in their career choices and not flimsy women that need saving. She has a plethora of words that at times have me reaching for my dictionary. I love it.
This is a wonderfully erotic and may actually have you reaching for more than your dictionary because this delightful 2nd episode will surely get your juices flowing.

I was a little nervous going into the book that it would be the same formula as Gentleman's Privilege. I'm happy to say that while I could tell they were from the same series, Lovers Walk was a completely different book. I thought the Rites in this book were sexier, and it was easier to follow what was going on in the book. I love stories of ex-lovers getting back together, the fireworks make it much steamier! Can be read as a standalone, as this book occurs at the same time as book one, but it makes more sense to read them in order so there are no spoilers for book one. I'm looking forward to meeting the next Marshall now!

Haven and Alex.
They don't know that each other are part of this lottery. If they did, they wouldn't have entered. Because they don't want to see each other again.
Even though they hate each other, they had great sex. Awesome sex. Nothing has compared since.
Another awesome book by Meg. Hot, steamy. and the underlying 'what the heck is going on around here?' story.
Can't wait for #3 !!!

MY VIEW: This is book 2 and in a lot of series the books over lap... NOT in this one I knew in the beginning it was from the same series but there wasn't a lot of re-telling they only retold the important things like what sorition is and why they do it..... This was a very good book if I had any questions from book one they were answered in this book...... I absolutely loved this book and I can't wait for more from Meg Silver!
