Audio: 5 Stars Amazing job with the 300 different voices!

Story: I wish Japanese manga writers would stop creating ridiculous characters with exaggerated behaviors, clinginess and psycho personalities are not ok. With the exception of the creepy behavior from the daughter, the story is fun and interesting and has a great balance of slice of life and adventure. It's better than the anime, for sure. But at this point, getting tired of both Angie and Margarite stupidity, they act like little kids and not 18 YO. These are getting worse, now on top of the stupidity....they added politics and royalty, which is even worse than stupidity. Onto my next adventure, Happy Readings!!!

One of the books in the latter days of the plot, everything is slowly coming to a head.

Bell's constant "wry smiles" and "scratching cheeks" are kind of annoying. Why are his reactions so limited? Also, I feel like there are way too many characters on screen.

It is time to look for Satie. The first place to look is at the capital which is not exactly next door. The long trip gives Angeline and Belgrieve a lot to think about both about past regrets, what they want from each other and what they want out of life. If that was not enough, there is trouble afoot in the capital and Satie might be involved.

Lots of character development in this volume mainly for Angeline, who has to do some growing up in regards to her relationship with her father, but also for Belgrieve. I like the fact (and it is one of the whole series) that we have one main character who is an adult and acts like one, who has more of a support role than a fighter (relatively speaking anyway) and is appreciated for it. I have read (and watched) too many books (and anime) in this genre lately were the support MC character is bullied and unappreciated. The main plot is intriguing, even though I am a bit worried about the main villain. The "villains too arrogant for their own good" trope that seems to be in use is difficult to pull off well without either making looking the villain look like a fool or it being resolved through a deus ex machina. We will see. For now I am thoroughly enjoying the series.
