Every life leaves behind a legacy. Every story has a beginning and an end. The Alpha of the Romania Grey Wolves knows this better than most. He also knows it’s the things that transpire to create that legacy and the experiences, triumphs, and failures that happen in the middle of the story that matter. His story began a century ago and now a tragedy has led him to his rightful place as Alpha of the Eastern Romania pack. Before he led hundreds, he had to learn to lead a few. Before he sacrificed for all, he had to be willing to sacrifice for any. Before he could be the man destined to save his race he had to be willing to serve them. In order to be raised up, he had to first be torn down. There was only one who could do this and live, only one who could light his way when the darkness closed in; his mate, his Luna. This is the building of their legacy, the middle of their story. Their triumphs, their failures, and their tragedies would one day make them strong enough to restore a race torn apart by greed, envy, and fear.
Hello, Readers. My name is Quinn Loftis and I am lucky enough to call myself a novelist. In 2011, I self-published my first novel, Prince of Wolves with no expectations, other than my friends and family might purchase the book out of pity. Now, several years later, with 30+ novels and counting under my belt, Prince of Wolves had been downloaded over 1 million times. Though I was hesitant at the time to submit my work to the world for their scrutiny, I'm so glad I did. It made my dream of making a living by telling stories a reality.
I'm blessed to share my household my wonderful husband of more than twenty years (who also co-writes with me on occasion), three beautiful sons, a French Bulldog, and an oversized tabby cat. I love hearing from readers, so if you have any questions about the books or my journey, don't hesitate to hit the 'Contact Quinn' in the menu above. Thank you so much for taking a chance on my books.
There is so much running through my head right now concerning Luna of Mine that I honestly don't know where to begin. I have to say it felt so good to spend some time with Jen, Sally and Jacque and their mates. I have missed the humor and the verbal flirty play especially with Jen and Decebel. This book is the perfect conclusion to the Grey Wolves Series. Throughout Prince of Wolves, Blood Rites, One Drop of Blood, Out of the Dark, Beyond the Veil, Fate and Fury and Sacrifice of Love, you literally fall in love with these girls and their mates and their adventures truly keep you on edge. You see the love between Vasile and Alina but this story gives you a beautiful glimpse at this couple, their trials and triumphs, the lessons learned and above all love and sacrifice and what it truly means to be mated to a Canis Lupis. You will not want to put this book down because the characters stay with you and the adventure really keeps you glued to each page. I think my favorite part between Alina and Vasile is captured in the excerpt that I have posted in this blog post. It was nice to see a different side of Alina that was much like Jacque, Jen and Sally in her own way or at least I thought so.
I can't even begin to thank Quinn Loftis for the treasure she has created in this series and the way it seriously touched my soul. It honestly felt as if she was in my head and could hear my heart saying what I would want out of a mate. I honestly wish I could jump into this series because it truthfully has found a permanent home in mine. Don't miss out on this amazing read and you will find that if any book is worth getting a book hang over for this book is.
So stock up on your hot chocolate and popcorn because you are in for one amazing ride back into time!
When I pick up a book from the Grey Wolves Series, I know without any doubt that I will be entertained. Every single book has made me laugh and sent me for a loop when I thought one thing was about to happen but something else actually did. Luna of Mine was no exception on both counts. I literally “howl” with laughter at the smart banter between the characters. I love it when an Alpha, who is used to being obeyed, is challenged by a female who won’t bend under his power and makes him realize he is being a jerk. The pride-swallowing and wallowing usually results in her bringing him to “heel”. What’s not to love about that? The way this “tail” is woven together made me forget that I was reading a story instead of being a real-time observer of the events. Alina and Vasile went through a lot on their journey to be mated and I feel like a member of their pack being entrusted with the details. Now, if I could just learn Romanian… The only thing about Luna of Mine that gave me any “paws” was that I wanted to space it out and enjoy reading it slowly. But that did not work out for me as I “wolfed” it down in 2 sittings. I just can’t put a Quinn Loftis book down!! #MotherOfTheYear
I don't know why I didn't continue this series last month and I definitely regret that right now but hot damn, am I back to be in it! Sadly, there's like what.. 3 books left? Not counting the novellas.
Luna of Mine was pretty good. Not my favorite of the entire series but I wasn't disappointed with it either. It's probably because of Jenn, I just love her to bits and pieces. No matter how big or small her scenes are, I'm a happy girl.
Okay, so this book was about Alina and Vasile. Nothing really special about them but it's mostly about them becoming mates and shit. I liked them.. but I didn't really love them, ya know? Alina wasn't a pushover like I thought she was going to be. Vasile was okay as an alpha.. but is nothing compare to the previous males you meet.
Other than that, it was a pretty quick audio and kind of bitter sweet too. I was warned that this was the last book with out beloved narrator, I have no idea why.. but once I dove into the ninth book of this series.. well, that bitch was greatly missed by my ears.
I didn’t expect to like this book as much as the others, since it was going back in time, 1800, for Vasile and Alina’s story. I was very wrong! I loved it just as much!
Alina comes from a farming family. They weren’t well to do but got by with what they had and were a happy family. Her father had made it clear that she would be twenty years old before she could be mated. Her best friend’s brother, Serghai, had his idea that someday Alina would show signs and become his mate. Alina had always made it clear that she loved him as a brother. He wouldn’t accept that. He was always sniffing her and had even taken a shirt that she gave him to give to his sister and put it under his pillow for her smell.
Then when Vasile’s parents die, he sets out to all the villages to see how everyone is doing and what needed to be done to care for them as the new Alpha. The only thing was that; Vasile’s parents weren’t mated but loved each other. They let the pack believe they were true mates. When someone evil overhears this, he decides to ruffle things up so he could become Alpha. He, being the beta in the neighboring pack. He wasn’t even a strong Alpha to begin with.
While out and visiting others, Vasile finds Alina and their communication in their heads begins and they know they are true mates. But Alina is too young and her father wants her to wait until she is twenty. She is just shy of 16 when they meet. They spend some time together, have a fight, shut down the communication and both suffer for it for some time before he comes back and apologizes. I love the stupidity of men sometimes and I love that Peri is in this book too and she lets her thoughts on that known. She still cracks me up.
Anyway, there is much contention in the land as the saying goes and soon Vasile is forced out of his castle by the evil wolf. How is really gross and I am not sharing that. But Vasile is in exile waiting for the time to find those who will fight with him and making plans. He is separated from Alina for that time. There bond is open and they talk and she comes into her own. Over three years passes while Vasile keeps his status of Alina being his mate a secret to keep her safe. Her markings haven’t yet shown. Then they do show up and Serghai bursts into her home when it is hot and she isn’t fully covered and sees her markings. He is livid and tries to kill her. Just before he tries to hurt her, she shuts the wall of communication down between her and Vasile so as not to worry him thinking she could handle him not really knowing his intentions. But Vasile knows something is wrong and comes flying but it is almost too late. She is very weak and Vasile completes the blood rites to help her heal and because he doesn’t want to live if she doesn’t. Oh my gosh, that is the sweetest thing ever. He is patient with her and treats her like a queen during her recovery. He had me swooning with his words and thoughts and actions.
I had this book on my daughters kindle instead of my ancient one and couldn’t figure out how to save the quotes I wanted. But they would have you swooning too!
From there on out, you see the power the two have together and how they can overcome anything and how much of an Alpha they both really are. It was absolutely amazing and made me wish that I could have that life!
Right now, I am going to reread the whole series, because it is one of my favorite ever books!! Because I so fell in love with this series!
Beautiful perfection... That's what I have to say about this book! Once again Quinn Loftis has left me in awe. I knew that Vasile and Alina had to have had an epic love story but I had no idea that it would bring to my knees with feels. The first time that Vasile called her "Mina" I was covered in goose bumps that didn't leave my body until they were joined as one. Can I just say that when I reread this entire series, which I am so happy to say will be as soon as possible, I will be in love with Vasile as much as I am in love with Fane, Decebel, Costin and all of the other males that have captured my heart.
Let's just be real here Decebel will always be my favorite, but Vasile has now become a close second. I've also come to love Alina and the sacrifices that she has made to be with her Alpha. Good Lord in heaven, why have I not found me a wolfie yet to make my very own? This entire series has taken over my life and has left me needing more, more, more! I only hope that more is to come and I anxiously await the arrival of Vasile and Alina's grandpup! Quinn Loftis you are simply amazing!! Oh and one last thing... I NEED MORE VERY SOON!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...
Quinn has done it again! She has released a book which has kept me on my toes throughout. I have laughed, cried, and even been shocked at some of the outcomes in Luna Mine. Needless to say the final book in the Grey Wolves Series is just as exiting and thrilling as the previous seven.
I like the fact it focused on Vasile's and Alina's story, I also like the fact that the original three characters from the other books also made an appearance. I can not fault Luna mine or the Grey Wolves Series in general. I LOVE IT! It is one of a few series that has kept me on edge and itching to read the next book. I am happy to know that this is NOT the last book in the series as I love following the lives of the pack and I would love to see Sally and Costin's relationship develop as much as Jen's and Jacque's relationships did. I am also exited that Quinn has released The Gypsy Healer Series, which follows the Fey (who made an appearance throughout the Grey Wolf Series).
I look forward to the next book I read from Quinn Loftis as she is a brilliant writer and her stories are as heart-wrenching as they are heart-warming.
We've been able to get to know the Grey Wolves throughout the last seven books. Alina and Vasile have been a strong, united, and loving Alpha pair throughout the series. Now is our chance to get to learn their story.
Quinn does an amazing job of taking us back to see the Alphas before they were mated. Showing that this pair has had their share of tests, deceptions, and secrets. The secret especially is something that I never saw coming, proving that no matter how many books into the series we are, these wolves definitely know how to keep us on our toes.
While I want to gush about all of my favorite parts, I do not want to give anything away. Alina and Vasile's story is so special in my eyes that you need to read it word for word. Sadly no spoilers from me.
Beautifully written, this latest installment in the Grey Wolves series will have you racing towards the end and then wishing that you had savored the story just a bit more.
A good stand alone read about the way things began for the two main characters. Though they seem to be supportive in the other books of the grey wolfs this takes you back to a whole new era just by the way they interact with each other so much proper. To read the growing relationship between the main leads was very much needed to know that not everyone is perfect and has a flawless beginning. To have confidence in ones self and to know who you are as a person for the main female lead was wholesome, to learn that which I'd your by right and to fight for it is powerful for the male lead, than to read them combining strengths and endurance is unity.
I was surprised by this book. Especially since Jen and Dec are my favorite in the series. However telling their story now just made sense. I rooted for them all the same even though I knew they would be together in the end. It answered a lot of questions that I didn't realize needed to be answered. I love how Alina knew who she was and even though she had doubts it didn't take away from her character. Great job on reverting their speech I kept expecting to read furball or Peri Fairy, but Quinn did an awesome job. Her best book yet.
Vasile and Alina's story, what's not to love?! I have always admired this couple, and after reading this, I do so even more.
What I like about the book: It's more of my Grey Wolves! Although I am a huge fan of all things Quinn Loftis, which is kind of obvious since this blog is totally for her...I would not complain if, after she finishes the Elfin series (hint, hint, hint), she wrote nothing but more Grey Wolves stuff.
I was thrilled to finally find out how it all began. Seeing Vasile so vulnerable, and learning about who he was and what made him the Alpha he is now was wonderful.
What I didn't like about the book: I really tried to come up with something, but I loved it.
Would I recommend this book: I don't even know why I bother putting this in here. Of course I do. If you are a Quinn Loftis fan, and you've read The Grey Wolves Series, this book is a must.
This series has to be my favourite series ever!! Just when I think it's done Quinn write another fantastic book to add to it!! Luna of mine was an amazing tale of success and failure and the price it takes on some people. It opened a whole new world for me about Alina and Vasile and what they had to do to become who they are it showed how it all connected right back to who Fane is!! This was a amazing addition to the series and I will be forever greatful for this series and the wonderful lady who wrote it!
As always Quinn as brought laughter, sadness, truth love and hate to such heights. The story of Alina and Vaslie has been a true love story. The travels and tribulations that a couple face compared to having to prove your worth not just to those you love but to others is so much on a person that the faith and trust you can bring into a relationship and a family or pack is so much more. This is a wonderful lesson in knowing that once you have. trust and love it will get you through all the ups and downs that life can throw. Please read this series you will fall in love with it as all Quinn Loftis fans have and her other books.
The story of Alina and Vasile was very entertaining and showed a different side of the couples bond. I would've liked to read this one first so that I could really enjoy the suspense of not knowing what would happen in the end. I'm surprised the author told what happened to the others as many stories leave you to wonder. It was a good choice because I have a feeling this series is about to come to an end. This was much needed and an exceptional read.
This is my second time reading this book, though it has been years since the first time, yet I am still moved by it. I love hearing Vasile and Alina's story, although theirs wasn't an easy beginning, their struggles bring tears to my eyes just as their love warms my heart. It was an emotional roller-coaster but I enjoyed every minute of it and would gladly jump on that roller-coaster again and again!
it was a good book over all, but I thought it was very slow for the most part. I enjoyed the last couple chapters when it began to pick up, now to finish the last book. still a Jen fan and always will be.#greywolves
Book eight of the magnificent grey wolves series by the talented storyteller Quinn Loftis. This book focuses on the alpha parents of Fane Lupei. This is Alina and Vasile story of how they met, the trials they had to overcome, the loved ones they lost along the way. To the point where they’re the known lovable alpha pair they are today. Told by Alina to the girls Jacque, Jen and sally. I loved reading this book I liked seeing a younger Alina and Vasile and what they went through to become the strong and respected alpha pair. I definitely recommend reading this book it was fantastic. Definitely recommend reading this book highly entertaining and enjoyable book to read
Jen just had a baby, Jacque is pregnant and sally is about to go on a quest with peri so a girls weekend is in order. Alina tells the girls during a girls weekend how she and Vasile met. She takes them back two hundred years when she was a fifteen nearly sixteen year old girl living with her parents Petra and Georgeta on a farm in a small village of Solca in the Transylvania mountains. Vasile In less than a century has lost his brother and now parents stefano and Dacian a and become the new alpha. Vasile tells his parents friend Anghel that he carrys the burden of a secret his parents aren’t true mates his father met his mate but she died before he could complete their bond. His mother poisoned herself after the death of her husband because she needed to protect Vasile standing as alpha. Vasile begins to visit the villages and that’s where he meets Alina his true mate but she’s too young to claim but is willing to court her until she turns eighteen however her father believes they should mate at 20 when they’re both more mature Alina deals with self confidence issues with being the mate to the alpha and grows annoyed by them discussing her so she tells them off and blocks him from her mind. Days pass by and she forgives him and opens the bond. He has to go back to lead the pack, she’s overwhelmed by both their emotions and asks for space and he retaliates by shutting the bond and doesn’t care that she’s become sick over the months with the bond closed because he allows his pride to rule him as well as dealing with the issue of a rebellion lead by Emilian of the western pack who after getting information steals the dead alphas bodies and exposed the secret that his mother didn’t have mating marks and that they lied to the pack, Alina doesn’t have markings yet and to keep her safe he has to exile himself to keep her safe, he opens the bond back and four years pass since his exile when she gets her markings Sergei the brother of her best friend Sisily has always had a crush on her sees the markings in a rage attacks her and kills her parents. Vasile returns and gives her his blood to heal and they complete the blood rites. He enters a tournament and defeats all those who challenge him including killing Sergei and Emilian and reclaims his pack as alpha with Alina as his Luna.
Why can't I give this more than 5 stars?! This book was so epic! It just sucks you in. One of those rare books that someone could be talking to you and you won't hear a word they say because it's like you are literally there and living it. I really hope this is not the last book. I hope there are tons more to come. Luna of Mine takes you back to what life was like when Vasile and Alina first met. It was so amazing to get to hear their story and see all the trials and things they went through. It just makes their bond so much stronger. If there was any characters who are truly beautiful it's Vasile and Alina. Their love can almost make you weep because it is so deep and will have you longing for what they have.
Truly wonderful extravagant book! Quinn Loftis is a pure genius!
“You are his light and he is your gravity. He will keep you planted on the ground when need be, but will also raise you up when it is safe.” - Quinn Loftis, Luna of Mine, The Grey Wolves Series book 8.
What started off as a free kindle book turned into one of my favourite series. The Grey Wolves series mainly centres around three hilarious, sassy girls who discover they are mated to some sexy-ass dominant werewolves, and the series follows them on their crazy adventures with psycho werewolves, evil witches, and some very sarcastic Fae.
It was great to see another side to these characters, hesitant and imperfect in their youth as opposed to the strength and confidence they have in the present.
I devoured this book in a matter of hours after a friend (who is two books ahead) messaged me in so much excitement over the storyline.
You should check out the first book in this series on amazon, Prince of Wolves. I believe it is still free to download.
Luna of Mine by Quinn Loftis is book eight of the Gray Wolves, and actually goes back in time a little to tell Alina and Vasile's mating story.
The story covers how Vasile became Alpha, about the time he found Alina, and the struggles they go through to claim their pack and each other as mates. The story is challenging and thrilling, keeping you on the edge of your seat and feeling for Alina and Vasile the whole time. But it also showcases how their love became so strong and the feelings they have towards their pack.
I loved the story, even if I missed Jen, Jacque, Sally, and the crew. Getting a feel for Alina and how much she really values family because of her backstory only made her so much more of a dear character!
This book is so sweet. If you haven't read the other books, I suggest you do. This is about Alina and how she cope with putting up with the Alpha Valise. It is set in the early 1800's where she is a werewolf who's best friends brother is crazy about her. He is so crazy about her that he kills her parents just because she wouldn't except him! Who does that!
Anyway she is supposed to control the darkness from Valise heart and keep the peace between werewolf and human. And I thought waking up in the morning was hard.
This is a really great book, and I have enjoyed the series.
I truly loved these books and I can hardly wait for the next book. I'm so glad you wrote them and I'm glad you had a friend like Jan for she is truly Cool! I laugh and cry with your people and hurt with them too. Please add me to your fan club. We all need a strong Alpha who will lead us and encourage us when we have dark times as well as light days. Who will stand in front and keep harm away. God truly blessed you with a sharp mind to write these books. Thank you so much.
Oh. My. Freaking. Goodness! "Luna of Mine" was out of this world amazing; I couldn't get enough of it! I absolutely loved reading about Vasile and Alina's story of when they first met and their sometimes not so easy journey afterwards. Their characters were incredible and after reading this story, I am even more partial to them. I simply can't get enough of the Grey Wolves Series and I can't wait for book #9! Thank you so much Quinn for writing such an incredibly addictive series!
Another great read from Mrs. Loftis. This time we are transported back in time to when the great Vasile met his courageous mate Alina. However, this is just not some ordinary love story. This story is made of tragedies, loss, and even despair, with years of heartache in between. Yet, by some miracle or should I say certain fairy this couple not only survives and but triumphs! This a great almost ending to the series.
So I read this book in six hours... I just could not put it down! It was so amazing to have a little insight into our beloved alphas and their history. Quinn did such an incredible job tying together the past with what we know of the future and now I am even more excited to see what she has in store for our favorite wolves next.
If you haven't read the prior 7 books don't worry about it. The main story in this book is a prequel to all the prior books. You will still enjoy the love story, the action, family and friendship of how Vasile and Alina the most powerful Alpha couple of the wolfs came to be. If you have been a fan and read all the prior books at least twice like me then you are going to love this book even more.
