reading a 2023 book about the overwhelmingly depressing, urgent, and alarming topic of plastic pollution that ends with an 'its not over!' optimistic message about global cooperation and governments prioritizing protecting their local environment over destructive production developments in 2025 <<<< its so over

nevertheless a great work that will have you signing up for lake clean-ups and replacing your beloved collection of old, toxic single-use plastic takeout containers with glass.

I loved this book: although it was dense with information, it had a natural flow to it that was unlike any nonfiction book I’ve read. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn anything ocean related :)

This book makes you want to run out and save the world from plastic! Interesting topic here and she's a good writer.
