This book was everything!!
The writing style was epic (can’t believe it’s a debut novel, you got it girl!!!) I almost fell in love with Grimm’s voice… so so funny.
Totally love when authors give title to their chapters.
The storyline was spotless, everything was cleverly woven.
The characters were amazing!
Thank you for writing a MMC without the BDSM bs we found in every mafia romance nowadays.
Ok there is almost a minus point as Grimm was not faithful the first 3 years he started stalking Arella… but the book was too good to remove a point because it doesn’t meet my standards!
Then I can’t wait for the story of all the other characters: Klaus, Midnight…

Hell, how can I put it into words!? I would say: bewitched. 🫠
If you’re looking for an emotionally intense mafia romance and love Russian men (who doesn’t? 🤭) Grimm is ALL YOU NEED. 🙂↔️ trust me. 😍
He captured my heart and soul from the very first chapter.
I lived for the moment when Grimm's gaze fell on her for the first time 😍
PURE EMOTION. 🫀
Since he meets her, he lives ONLY for her. ❤️🔥🥹
And this melts my heart, considering that he completely lacks feelings 🫠🥹
The connection between them was so believable and fucking intense. 🔥🔥🔥
Ella knows how to tell a story.
I laughed, I cried and my heart ached with them the whole book. ❤️🩹
My heart broke for him when he said “how was I supposed to learn about happiness when all I knew was carnage?”.
I wanted to hug him for every moment he felt unloved or not enough 🥹
I loved Arella for the way she loved him 😍😍
She gave him everything he didn't know he needed. 🩶
And most of all, I loved her because the only people who intrigued her in this life were, in fact, the same person, but under a different identity 🤭 yes, he does… things 🫠✨
Arella is beautiful, selfless, gentle with everyone and loves helping people more than anything.
Grimm, on the other hand, is the cold to her warmth. He’s dangerous, brooding, a monster and definitely the villain.
SPOILER ALERT: not for her. 🤤🤤
Little spoiler: he cooks for her, or at least tries to 🤣🤣
Together they complete each other. He's soft only with her and she unleashes her dark side only for him. ❤️
Wanna know how much Arella loves Grimm? THIS MUCH:
“I’ll die smiling, knowing how much he loves me.”
“I would die for him and embrace the inferno with his name on my lips.”
How about Grimm thoughts about her?
“How could she be walking sin and still not allow herself to fall into it?”
“Would she be the one to show me the way out of the darkness? Would she willingly choose to drown in black with me?”
One thing I absolutely adored about them was their names. Because they tell a story.
YES, even their names have a story. Can't tell you much, buuuut I can give you a word: predestined. Their souls have been constantly searching for each other for as long as they have existed and "A messenger of God, destined to fall for the demon of destruction" could never fit better. ❤️🔥

fabulous read!!

Grimm and Arella
This is easily in my top reads! Nothing I love more than an unconventional mafia DR with a badass FMM and a psychopathic OTT MMC! This book is solo good!

Started out great
This book started out really great. I probably could have finished it but I started losing interest. I loved Grimm honestly he was a great obsessive possessive mmc. However, it started to go off the rails for me a little bit nothing bothers me more when there is a lot of tension between two characters and the spice pay off is mid. There is more internal dialogue then descriptions. Her not being honest of who she is.
Even though she loves him. Honestly i did find some choppy parts that took me to the story.

It was interesting in the beginning, but then it started to drag and at 56% i was bored to death and couldn't bother to finish even to see what would happen.
