This was my first MF in a looong time. And of course, A.Winchester delivered.
Delilah is “a ray of fücking sunshine!” 🌅 and Hunter is “a gøddąmn gentleman” 💞

If you’re a fan of the Twister movies then his is a wild ride (Pun fully intended)
Hunter aka Buck is a storm chaser that is also a philanthropist of sorts with money he raises for his crazy live social media presence while chasing tornados is used to rebuild towns destroyed by the very twisters he chases.
Delilah Lane has the ultimate job to photograph for the Times and National Geographic and the only catch is it’s her Ex-Fiancée Hunter she has to follow for 2 weeks to do it.
Can the two of them over come their past or are some hurts just too much?
I really enjoyed these 2 characters and their chemistry

This book was great and exciting to read. I loved the twister shenanigans and the overflowing tension between Hunter and Delilah. I loved everything about Hunter . A cowboy and twister lover with a golden heart. Delilah perfectly matches his intensity. She is ambitious. I thoroughly enjoyed their snarky comments and banter.

There is so much I loved about this book. It's Sweet Home Alabama meets Twisters. As a long-time lover of the 2002 film, I had the BEST time reading this book with all the ways it was similar to Sweet Home Alabama. It's the dark humor, banter, and teasing between ex-fiancés that are reuniting for the first time in 10 years. You get the tension filled reunion, spicy reconnection, and even the adorable "I went to find you" confession.
I really am in my Cowboy Romance Era, but this was such a fun depart from the usual - that instead of running a ranch, our cowboy is a storm chaser. Hunter Wilde really does have a heart of gold, and I loved that about him. But behind closed doors, he has one dirty mouth. The only reason I can't give this 5 stars is because I got a little bit of dirty-talking / praise overload and couldn't really get into the spicy scenes. It was the "pretty girl" nearly every sentence.
I was very impressed by Addison Winchester's writing. There was tension, romance, spice, thrilling action, and even character depth all balanced well in such a compact and fun story. With so much history between the main characters, you don't spend time on the "getting to know you" part, so there's really a lot more space in this book to get to the sizzling reconnection and tornado chasing excitement!

This book was so good I’m gonna cry cause I didn’t want it to end. It keeps you hooked from the beginning. The tension between Hunter and Delilah was everything. The had a few bumps at the beginning but with how fast they started being all lovey dovey just showed how meant to be they were. You wouldn’t have thought they went years without seeing it talking. It felt like they were a couple since forever. They had amazing chemistry and everything was sweet and veryyyyy hot between them. I’m not usually a fan of second chance romance when its been a while since they broke up but these two proved me wrong. I am definitely a big fan now. I’ve never seen two characters more perfect then Hunter and Delilah.

Blown. The. Fuck. Away.
That's me right now. Swear to God. Five stars does not do this book justice, it deserves so many more than just five. Addison, this is hands down my favorite book yet from you and I'm still obsessed with Escaping Expectations. I finished this book 5 minutes ago and my heart is still pounding.
Hunter "Buck" Wilde, storm chaser, crazy man, silly puns, and HOT AF. He's also Delilah's ex-fiancé and the man she was just assigned to follow and photograph for TWO WEEKS. There really isn't a way out of it either because as a professional photographer you DO NOT turn down an assignment from The Times AND National Geographic. She's nervous, not stupid. She's also terrified, a lifetime ago she and Hunter survived a horrible tornado that drove him to run toward them and her to run from them. Now she's going to shadow him for two weeks. Good Lord, how's this going to go?
Guess what, it goes good...so good. I mean, there's one bed. Ya feel me? I just want to read about these two forever. Their beginning, their time apart, their after the epilogue. Give me ALL of it.
This story is front to back an adventure, at no point did I set my kindle down willingly while reading this book. If you were ever into the movie Twister and you enjoy a steamy (putting it mildly) second chance romance, then this IS 100% the book for you.

I haven't watched Twister since I saw it in theaters with my grandma when I was 6 years old but this book is making me want to watch it again and then hop over to the remake just so I can get my Hunter fix in the form of Bill Paxton and Glen Powell.
I honestly can't believe this story story was only 200 pages.. there was so much packed into such a little thing it felt like a full length novel. We got so much on Hunter and Lila's relationship (both past and present) while still having the storm chasing storyline.. I'm just so impressed.
Hunter isn't my usual type of guy I'm a walking red flag girl all the way but Addison writes her men in a way you can't help but love them green flags and all. The dirty talk is always next level and they always have the biggest soft spots for their girls.
Delilah's self growth throughout the book was probably one of my favourite things.. she's stubborn as all hell and does it at her own pace but it's worth the outcome.

I was so obsessed with this whole story. Former lovers, only one bed, and facing your fears is only a small glimpse into the swoon worthy tropes! Seeing the man behind the facade, and the heart bigger than Texas made us all fall in love with Buck Wilde. Watching Delilah blossom and reignite that live and passion made for the best quick read of this summer!

There is so much to say about this book that I don't even know where to start. But let me make one thing clear, I was not interested in storm chasing stories, UNTIL NOW! I would chase storms with Hunter forever, move on over Delilah lol.
Honestly, I may joke around here, but the truth is I have already read this amazing short story twice! Once with all the adult content and once skimming over the adult parts. It was awesome both ways.
This is definitely a adult read and you have to appreciate a lot of steam!
I can't for the next book by this author, I will read them all and they will be one of the few that stay on my shelves for re-read!
Now do yourself a favor and go read this and every other one of her books you can get your hands on!

I don't think I've felt my heart squeeze in my chest reading a book before.
I laughed. I cried. I got jealous of fictional characters.
Hunter "Buck" Wilde definitely lives up to his name. A giant of a man with a huge heart and total golden retriever energy. If a man like this existed IRL, I'd be a fucking goner. He might be my new favorite MMC.
And you can't forget Delilah. She's a force to be reckoned with all on her own. I love her character growth.
Also, the spice be spicin', man. Hunter's got a dirty fuggin mouth on him, and I'm here for it.
I stayed up well past my bedtime to finish this book, and as Winchester's books always do, this one was hit out of the park. What a unique romance. I need more of this!

This book omg🩵😭 it is the PERFECT combination of spice and adorable moments. I’ve wanted to read a storm chaser romance for so long! By chapter 10 I was hooked and completely in love with this book, hunter and Delilah. I feel like this is one of the things that aren’t talked about in most books, like weather other than sunny or rain, definitely havnt read anything that had natural disasters like this one does with tornadoes and I feel like I need more of this!! It’s so cute and intriguing especially coming from someone who practically lives right smack in the middle of tornado alley 🌪️ the ending was so freaking cute and funny! I’m definitely gonna recommend this book to people! Especially if you want a tornado chasing hot as sin cowboy🩵👀

This book was pretty exciting read and not something I've picked up before - a storm chaser and a photographer. Chasing Wild is a second chance romance between Hunter and Delilah who's banter had me laughing out loud. Delilah is sent to Oklahoma to photograph a storm chaser who ends up being her ex fiancée and has an online personality that he keeps separate from a lot of the do good things he does behind the scenes.
I do wish the second chance tension would have built a little more - especially because of the reason they separated in the first place, but it wasn't long after they met up again that they were jumping in bed. I also found Hunter's online persona "Buck" quite annoying at times but not enough to make me set the book down and walk away.

This was the cutest book I’ve read in a while! Everything from start to finish had me hooked, laughing/giggling, and enjoying every pun of Hunter’s and the banter between him and Lila 🤣
This was a quick, fun story following Hunter “buck” Wilde and Delilah “Lila” Lane Holloway chasing tornadoes. Between the banter, the jokes, the good, wholesome heart that Hunter had 🥹, and the chemistry between these two, I had such a great time.
THE STOOL SCENE - iykyk 🙃😉🤣.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved Hunter’s personality (both in & out of the bedroom 😉) and lovedddddd how sassy, independent, and smart Lila was.
As always, A Winchester writes unforgettable characters who leave you wanting more and more of them.

Great story of a second chance romance set in the exciting backdrop of Tornado season in Oklahoma. Our MCs Delilah, the good girl photographer living the city life a long way from her country roots & the dirty talking cowboy/storm chaser Hunter ‘Buck’ Wilde are thrown together & it’s fireworks from the minute they meet again!
Phew - what a ride! This story had it all in a short time. Great in depth realistic characters, chemistry, romance, excitement, adventure and all the feels - I couldn’t put it down & read it from cover to cover in one sitting!

So damn good!!! There’s love, there’s excitement, it’ll make you tear up. It’s a great story. The world also needs more men like Hunter Wilde. He’s fun, he’s forceful, he’s helpful. He’s definitely a doer, he doesn’t need to be asked to help. He just helps because it’s the right thing to do. Delilah Holloway is something else too. She’s a feisty little thing who is perfect for Hunter. Her spunk is something to be admired. Absolutely LOVED 100% of this book from start to finish and will be in my top 5 favorite books for a WHILE.

At under 200 pages I was blown away by the depth of her characters and the development of the storyline, which is usually difficult to achieve in a smaller book . As a second chance romance, the characters already knew each other as the book began and we were able to jump right into the good stuff without all of the extra fluff. I usually prefer longer books with intense, well developed plots, but A. Winchester is slowly converting me into shorter, novella sized books and I cannot wait for more from her..

If you like a smoking hotttttt storm chasing MMC with an insane talent for dirty talk, a relatable career driven FMC who gets thrown into an uncomfortable situation and makes the best of it, and an emotional, amazing plot this book is for you! Oh my! This is such a good book! I didn't want to put it down! I absolutely LOVED this book. As a girl who has watched Twister more times than I could count, this book did not disappoint!
Hunter and Delilah ...... perfection! I'm not sure there is any other way to describe them. These 2 get under your skin so you feel the need to read the book asap so you can see what happens.

What can I say other than she has done it again. This was an action packed love story between Delilah and Hunter chasing tornadoes and photographing them along the way. It’s a quick read and high up on the smut scale making me want my own Buck Wilde for sure. If you haven’t done so run and read this when it releases as it’s hands down an amazing story which makes you feel like you are truly apart of it. Kudos A. Winchester another 5 star book in the arsenal.

OMG, I absolutely devour this book! If you have watched Twister with Glen Powell and you searching for your own sexy cowboy storm chaser, this is for you!
I loved every part of this second chance romance. You will fall in love with the main characters so fast. I did. Delilah Holloway is stubborn, sassy and I loved how passionate she is about photography. Even if she is scared of chasing storms, she kept following Hunter. I loved how she wanted to show the world who is the real Hunter no matter if he is convinced no one wants that. Hunter is what the world needs more! I loved all of him from his filthy mouth, praise, and hand necklace to his caring side. I loved both POVs, we can read how they affect each other. I loved their banter and the tension between them. They may have run from each other, but they find their way back. His nickname for her made me melt: firefly.
My favorite moments were those where they are vulnerable to each other like Hunter taking care of Delilah after facing her first tornado since the last incident. A. Winchester knows how to write love's story that gets you emotional. She made me cry in almost all her books and Chasing Wilde isn’t an exception.

Omg I’m obsessed. This definitely had the movie Twisters vibes. Hunter truly reminded me of Glen Powell! Chasing Wilde had everything I needed and wanted in a storm chaser romance!! The thrill of the tornado chase, the chemistry between Hunter and Delilah. They actually kiss and the spice was amazing!! Who doesn’t want a storm chasing cowboy that’s drives into a tornado and has a heart of gold. 😍😍😍

This book just gave me all the feels. I’m so glad to have had the experience of reading it.
Twister has been a family tradition movie for as long as I can remember. I have watched it so many times and I will never get sick of it. So when this book was announced I was really excited. I absolutely loved how it embraced the inspiration from both the old and the new movies and still managed to get the important messages across too.
I am always blown away by how well A. Winchester writes drool-worthy MMCs, and this book was no different in how hard I fell for a fictional character. Hunter Wilde was So. Damn. Hot. Delilah/Lila Lane, she had this very headstrong demeanor and was packed full of sass. She was the perfect match for Hunter. They were so good together and I loved how she realized it was up to her to do the chasing.

This book, y’all this story was so much fun, but there’s also angst, and spiciness in it, there’s twisters(check your triggers people, please), there’s line dancing, there’s small town, close nit community feels, Lila and Hunter are everything. It’s a quick read and you will absolutely enjoy the whole thing! Don’t miss out on it. You will regret it! 💕

Lila and Hunter were a HOOT!! the banter was so good and hilarious. i just adored them!! it was paced so perfectly and i didn’t want to put it down! I loved the homie small town vibes and a “it’s always been you” trope steals my heart every time. Their story is def one of my top novellas of the year and god i could read about them for so many more chapters. they’re the best 🫶🏻

The spicy storm chasers book I didn't know I needed!
I absolutely loved this book and felt like the ending and epilogue wrapped up the story with a pretty little bow (though, I always want Winchester's books to be longer because I never want to leave the world).
