I'm still a big fan of these characters and Conrad's brand of vampire. I enjoyed seeing what happens after After Dark.

3 stars instead of 5 because some sections were repetitive, my disbelief wasn't always suspended regarding what a pregnant woman can do without miscarrying, and some loose ends weren't tied up. Now, I know there's a third book, so I don't expect all the loose ends to be tied up, but some little things that were mentioned on multiple occasions just didn't become important at all. I also found some of the Brethren's actions strange/unbelievable, but I'm not going to go into details because I don't want to spoil anything.

Book 1 started slow but finished on such a good note that when I returned it to the library I picked up Book 2!
Before Dawn picked up right where we left off. Good Stuff.

I was hoping for a little more cemetery trail camera review discussion, I'm sure there were some real gems captured on those cameras.

On to Book 3!
