The book is a collection of think- pieces by multiple prominent names in reproduction field. I especially liked the first section where new theorization about male reproduction is happening and I specifically liked Littlejohn’s piece. The second section shed lights on the discussions on the crisis language around dropping sperm counts and infertility. Alyssa Newman piece on shortage of black sperm donors was a good inclusion here. Part 3 discusses the production of sperm. Part 4 discusses stopping sperm (vasectomy, male engagement in reproduction, male contra) Fabian Henning piece here is I think very good. I think it could be moved to the first section with theorizing. Here I hope it wont be missed by the readers. I also liked Lori Freedman’s piece. Part 5 primarily discusses the legal side of issues in the US, specifically around sperm donation. Final part 6, was super interesting especially Sariego’s piece was very intriguing and I really liked it. It also opens up a lot of new avenues to theorize. —- will update this if I get a chance
