Conversations! Haven't we all bore that one thought (even if for a microsecond) at some juncture to carry an in-depth, philosophical conversation with somebody (or a closed-knit company) to just release everything regarding how you discern life & what you believe is proceeding. If it is with an anonymous individual, then more satisfactory since you can speak about your internal struggles as that someone will offer you an unbiased view.

This book is a compilation of thoughtful made-up accounts & mixed between them is some fantastic poetry. I took my own time savoring each & every one of the seventeen collections as they are so pragmatic, engrossing & keep you contemplating. As I compose this review, I'm still attempting to get back to actuality & do my tasks, but I'm obviously failing.

A special mention to two of my favored tales, which I urge that everyone read before they commence from the first page. First is The Taxi Ride & second is The Truth Club. I have read it more than a couple of times & absolutely treasure them.

Passionate you are in a world that’s apathetic!
Colour blind you are in a world estranged by race!
Atheist, you are in a world full of gods and deities!
Perfectionist, you are in a world full of mediocrity!"

Conversations by Rajeev Nanda is a collection of 17 short stories and poems. Each of them has the essence of real-life examples. Many concentrate on dreams, disappointments, and disease, while others focus on joy, hope, relationships, and love. These poems and stories were inspired by real-life experiences and observations made by the author during his life. They're all based on a different theme. Each story includes a relaxing narrative in the manner of a conversation. The underlying message is clearly conveyed. Even the tiniest ones have enough intelligence to recognise the value of everything. One of my favourites is Misfit.

You might like to wander through a few artistic journals — they’re full of sparks and surprises.

I have a million reasons to exist,
But, all I need is a passion to feel alive.

Conversations by author Rajeev Nanda consist of 17 series in the form of poems and short stories on the various themes such as love, hatred, relationship, dreams, goals, death and much more.

The content was relatable as author had shared about his journey of the school and college days by observing people around him and facing various challenges and dilemmas. He has even shared the two incidents of his college days which had a large impact on his life. I could very well relate to the thought of not turning the hobby into profession. Every life incident had a hope with a different perspective towards life.

The writing style was gripping. The language used is simple and lucid. The cover was apt. The title conversations is not like other convos, this was something unique and conversing with our own life.

Overall, it was a unique read. I would recommend this book to the readers who like a blend of short stories and poems.

Often writing big review de-rails us from what we actually felt about the book. So this review is going to be short and quick.
Conversations as the name in itself suggests is an anthology of different conversations, some with other humans, some with ourselves and some even with God.
These conversations are nothing that an ordinary person have not had thought of before. From being confused about what a person wants in his/her life to blaming everything wrong with this world on God, is something we must have always talked about or at least thought of. Such are the topics these fictional conversations comprise of in this book.
My absolute favourite conversation was Tête-a-tête. (before I forget to mention I love the titles of the chapters which are absolutely to the point).
Written in the simplest words, this book leaves a deep mark in the readers thought process.
I enjoyed this book through and through. I think its the first time I took down points from a fictional book.

"Who survives over time is solely dependent on the abilities of any species."

This is the line which got me throughout the read.In the world of technology, hurry and rush having conversations with people is very rare. And trust me,you should have conversations with people whether it is with strangers or with our loved ones, conversations is must.

Conversations is a book which really helped me to see the world in a different perspective. The things which are mentioned, the situations, the emotions and everything helped to have a different perspective.

The book is a collection of 17 stories in total which revolves around various things.

Also, the amusing part of the read was it contained the poems too.The poems written are also equally thoughtful.

I have somewhere read-'Life is simple,we complicate it' and I really felt this.It hit me hard.Life is actually simple. And this is shown by the author with the help of different stories and poems.

The language used is simple and lucid. It is reader friendly.Anyone, even a beginner can read this book easily.

I would highly recommend this book to everyone

Conversations by Rajeev Nanda
A book with short stories collection and poetry is something I have rarely read and I am so glad I picked up this book.

Passionate. Volatile. Genius. Emotional.Heartbreaking.

That's what this book was for me. I am rather taken by surprise by the emotions captured by the Rajeev Nanda. His writing is evocative, engaging and refreshingly beautiful. The mini tales capturing real life problems and experiences that we all go through narrated beautifully. And poetry added more depth and warmth to the book.

I found the whole concept to be grounding and healing. Yes we all go through heartbreak and overcoming the pain is tough feat to achieve, by reading these stories i felt them and it resonated with me. A freeing and soothing read it was!
The narration was good but the poetry scattered throughout the book was awe inspiring and beautiful painfully so.

Equal part truthful, miserable and soothing, Conversations made my heart soar and I applaud Rajeev Nanda for writing such a beautiful book.

Conversations by Rajeev Nanda is a collection of short stories and poems. All the stories had deep meaning, and were very influential and meaningful. In most of the stories, the main character faced some dilemma, and sought answers to it, which came through "conversations".

So, the title of this book is just perfect as it captures and represents the essence of this book perfectly. The plots and storyline of all the short stories were different from each other and all were equally enjoyable to read.

I found no story to be shallow and there were a lot of emotions, feelings and lessons in these short stories. There is a wisdom in all these stories, which comes from the author's observation and his views and perspective on life.

The poems were as beautiful as the stories, this whole collection is very nicely put together and overall it gives a bittersweet vibe, just like life. This book will make you feel, will make you think and might also change your perspective on certain things. The book is written in a simple language and the writing style is lucid and perspicuous. It is free from tropes and can feel refreshing to read.

This book is a collection of 17 short stories and poems. This book is written in a conversational way and then slowly takes off to touch upon very serious issues in life that everyone goes through which makes it more engaging to read.

I also liked the personal touch given by the author in this book. The incidents of his college days were definitely sort of self-realization and thought provoking descriptions.

With his lucid writing, the author evokes an emotional response within me to feel the characters' emotions in each story. The captivating narration drew me into the book. The book's calm pace goes well with bountiful authors' conversations, which are best enjoyed unhurriedly like a popsicle.
Overall, I will recommend this book to all readers and suggest reading at a slow pace to absorb all the learnings and intense feelings of each story.

💬 Conversations" the title of the anecdote portray itself but a bit of. The author "Rajeev Nanda" jotted down every chapter with experience and it is a collection of seventeen creative, sensible, and intriguing short tales and epics related to plebians' life protagonist discussions who guide through a roller coaster and endure to make point of life in their personal, tough conditions.

💬 Several poems are there in the novel which is beautifully penned down by the author.

💬 I have a million reasons to exist, But, all I need is a passion to feel alive. I have all of mankind to love, But, all I need is one paragon to revere. I have a lifetime full of joy, But, all I need is a moment of ecstasy. I have an ocean of acquaintances, But, all I need is one friend to entrust. I have the thesaurus to construct an epic, To convey the drama and emotions, But, all I need is a hug that helps express. I have all these fires raging inside me, Of love and lust, Of hate and trust

💬 If I cannot love myself, Whom can I expect to love me? If I do not trust myself, Who can I expect to place trust in me? If I never make time for myself, Who can I expect to take time out for me? Before I seek out, I need to look within. If I don’t hear myself, Whom can I expect to listen to me? If I never talk to myself, Whom can I expect to speak to me? If I fail to own myself, Whom can I expect to take charge of me? Before I expect of others, I have to demand of me.

💬 In the quest for togetherness, the self was lost; Without the self, togetherness cannot exist. So, here we go again in search of ourselves. In a hurry to grow up, I grew old; Now that life comes to an end, The child in me is awakening. In a relentless effort to optimize time, I rushed through a lifetime; Now, I search for the moments of joy. To chase my dreams, I joined the rat race; The race was won but as a rat.

💬 To love is – to live for, Not, to die for. To love is – to set free, Not, to restrain. To love is – to envisage, Not, to disparage. To love is – to relish the moments together, Not, to count the moments. To love is – to have the same reasons, Not, just the same choices. To love is – to know thy-self, Before knowing the other person! To love is – to be honest, In criticism as in glorification. To love is – to be the antidote, For the daily grind of life. To love is – to feel the presence, In every breath you take. To love is – to be the source Of passion and ecstasy, Of inspiration and rhapsody.

💬 Truth, especially if spoken about you, is not something that everyone can handle. Listening to it when it is spoken by people whom you think are your well-wishers, has been known to have devastating effects on one’s self-esteem, self-confidence and the relationship between the people involved in it. That’s why most of us keep the truth locked safely in the closet of our hearts for all our lives.

💬 book doesn't only guide you on your negligence but also motivates you and how to overcome such terrible mistakes.

The six poems in the collection are in the same vein as the prose. There is neither any good poetry, nor deep thought. The poems in fact come across as amateurish, the kind you see published in school and college annual magazines that rhyme and try to convey some profound thought.

The stories and poems in the book have resulted from my years of observing people around me and then mulling over various challenges and dilemmas we face in life. Therefore, I think it is better for this book to introduce me to you rather than me trying to introduce this book. I will consider it as the success of this book if it makes you think, reflect and develop new perspectives.”

Quoting just what the author says in the introduction, I believe he should have mulled over just a tad bit more. You see, the emotions discussed in the book, the challenges that were uncovered weren’t deep enough. The poetry seemed child-like. The stories touched me, but they didn’t give me a perspective that I haven’t already read in a thousand other self-help books, that I haven’t seen in a thousand other movies. Like I mentioned before, this isn’t my kind of book – but I chose to read it, because people do surprise you sometimes.

Let’s look at the second ingredient in the book, the "philosophy". Now this, to me, is the prime reason why these stories were written and published. I have used the word "pontificate" quite a few times in this post. That is deliberate. That is how Conversations comes across. It could be due to the author's use of language. The heavy-handed, formal register does give an impression of someone lecturing about his insights into life and living. There's nothing in the "philosophy" that is new nor is there a unique perspective on anything.

I would have liked to read a book that retells normal incidents, narrates normal stories; that end up being something more than just normal. Instead, what I get is a collection of stories planned to impress; planned, even, to preach hefty life lessons. This book is nice. But it could have been one that stays with you for a long time, after you’re done reading it. The feelings mentioned in the book didn’t keep me awake in bed. I can’t say I even thought about the book once I put it down. I only really liked a couple of stories, a few poems here and there; that’s it.

That being said, I liked the writing. The author has a good command over the language, the wording is simple but effective – and there isn’t any slang or teen-talk.

It's unique, to say the least.

I loved immersing myself in these "conversations" & enjoyed every bit of it
___

This is something like a medley of short stories & poetry.

The topics are varied & amazing & most of the stories have an open ending, left to the imagination of the reader.

Each story leaves you pondering for a long long time.. #bookishhangover at it's best.
They definitely made me think about life and what we do with the time we have on this planet.
It made me think, reflect and develop new perspective.
___
"I have a million reasons to exist, But, all I need is a passion to feel alive."

The author talks effectively & very delicately about #life #dreams #god in a conversation, story format.

"We create the world we live in!"

The story of GD, a soldier, his arguments reminded me of me. Infact each story brought some or the other instance, person, forgotten thoughts bck to me.

The vocab adds to the reading experience.

The Taxi ride, emphasised the the art of storytelling, both to the narrator & the listener.

"A wreath decorates a dead body; What decorates a dead spirit? If the spirit dies before the body, What carries the Death with it?"

The Snowstorm ❄️ showed how coincidences, meeting strangers who click with you, can be a total exhilarating experience.

Four eulogies was my fav.
"To be in love is to be inspired. It pushes the person to perform at his or her best. It gives you the confidence that no matter what, you can take on the world.”

#relationships & #marriage was brilliantly brainstormed.
"Is it marriage that keeps you two together, or is marriage a by-product of your intent to stay together?”

Intersection was amazing. Melanie had my heart.
"Life is meant to be celebrated and not to be discarded."
Fear of old age.. is real for many.

“Introspection vacations" caught my fancy.

📍I am actually contemplating on getting a hard copy for keepsake, i read it on kindle.

BOOK REVIEW
BOOK - " Conversations "
AUTHOR- "Rajeev Nanda "
GENRE - " Fiction , drama "

Have you ever had a meaningful conversation with your near and dear ones ? A conversation without inhibitions? Without the fear of mockery or a loss ?

This book takes us through fourteen such situations where the protagonists are embroiled in a honest conversation. Easier said than done, while writing this, I imagined myself sitting in front of the people I want to break open and spill my thoughts but the very idea of it shrugged me back to my senses.

Needless to say, it takes guts to speak the truth or atleast our version of the truth. How many of us have played truth and dare ? Most importantly, how many have chosen to splurt out the truth ?

The author has conjured interesting situations. Few of them are -

Have you ever striked a conversation with your taxi driver ? This one conversation reminded me of the recent movie " Pushpa " and I have to confess. It was better than the movie. It's one of my favorite episodes in the book. The knack with which the taxi driver tells the story reminded me of the jungles and the highway of bangalore airport. Both close to my heart, it was a story to cherish.

Next story - I loved the concept of the truth club. A group of friends with secrets in their heart. This honest banter was both appreciable and one yearns to have such a friendship.

A chit chat about the existence of God. This heartful banter was fun to read and refreshed my thoughts about why I am an atheist.

" Pati, Patni and Woh " - How to fall in and out of relationship ? This was a close encounter and may spark the insecurities in you but does it really remain so calm ? May be or may be not.

There were several such beautiful unlikely and mature conversations which provoke you and prod you to think. I would like to thank the author for writing this book. I throughly enjoyed reading it. Will look out for the authors other works. 😊

Life is all about how we look and respond to the time and moments we are being connected with. Everything changes with the way of our approach and perception. 'Conversations' is one such book of short stories which provoke and dig deeper into our human thoughts and emotions. A simple yet meaningful conversation with the right person can have a long lasting effect on one's mind and body.
The chapters are based on such different facades of human life, relationships, emotions and beliefs that we deal everyday. The unique thing about the contents are it's narrative style which were expressed in quite philosophical way. Even a simple talk has been shown to touch the deeper chords of human mind.
The addition of beautiful poetries in between the proses were a delight to our reading experience. Because those chapters and especially the characters has put us into deep thoughts, we needed some light read in the form of some verses to recover from the former. But that was taken too far and at times I felt it was dragged and slow paced.
The coverpage was thoughtful and so is the title. I appreciated the topics that were brought into concern which most often being overlooked by us.
The narration wasn't beginner friendly, and hence I recommend it to the readers who are ready to go through this intense phase of thought- provoking sessions. There were also certain part in the book which seemed beyond understanding level and could be controversial. But anyway, one can enjoy the reading and the excellent word play.

The book " Conversations " by author Rajeev Nanda is a collection of seventeen short stories and poems. The book has some stories and some of them are poems each is different and unique in its way.

Many readers enjoy short stories instead of a full-length novel, this is a great option for all of them.

The stories are short, but the author is successful in trying to keep readers connected to the book emotionally maybe because the stories and characters are bring from real life. This book is one of a selected few books you can feel emotionally connected from the beginning to the end.

The book is not big enough, I finished it in four to five sittings, and the reason why once I started reading it, I couldn't put it back without reading it all.

All stories are written on Scenarios from the different phases of the life of an individual.
It's a bit difficult to call a single-story or poem favorite because I liked all of them. They are different from each other and written with meaningful words. This book is a deep read with the meaning or I should say, hidden message for the reader in its Stories.

The language is simple. There is a very thoughtful cover page. The title is full of curiosity. And the content of the book gives meaning to the title very simply. Loved his writing style.

The author has put lots of effort here.

* Looking forward to reading more of his books *

Conversations by Rajeev Nanda is an assortment of 17 brief tales and sonnets. sonnets and stories encompassing the discussions of genuine situations and layers of life. all depend on the different subjects like love, disdain, relationship, dreams, objectives, passing, and substantially more. It is including genuine discussions and characters, who explore through difficulties and try to figure out life in their interesting and testing conditions.

This book takes us through fourteen such circumstances where the heroes are involved in a genuine discussion. The sections depend on such various exteriors of human existence, connections, feelings, and convictions that we bargain ordinary. The narratives are short, however, the writer is effective in attempting to keep every user associated with the book sincerely perhaps because the accounts and characters are brought from reality. This book is one of a choice not many books you can feel sincerely associated with as far as possible from the start.

Then it was grasping to compose style. The language utilized is straightforward and clear. The sonnets composed are likewise similarly insightful. The entire idea is to ground and recuperate. The portrayal was great however the verse dissipated all through the book was striking and wonderful. This novel is most certainly an excellent perused, with heaps of articulation and sentiments. Through this novel, an ever user comprehends the everyday happenings and the arbitrary discussions we frequently come across or may some or a few days ago be into it. I enjoyed the composition. The creator has decent control over the language, the phrasing is basic however successful. I certainly prescribe everybody to pull out all the stops

✨The book " Conversation" is a wonderful collection of beautifully written and some well-crafted short stories and two-three poems to offer you which are nearly based on the facet of reality and true incidents. And each one of these stories gives you great insight and awareness into life. We as human beings are so involved in elucidating our sufferings and miseries that we don't rejoice in our delighted days.

✨We have to comprehend that pain and grief are just the main ingredients of our life. The different tales in this book are composed down to enlighten you to endorse and confront whatever comes to your route. This book narrates a tale of cessation, ambitions, futility of our missions, our notions of love and relationships and how it proceeds to develop with time and space.

✨The lines that stroked directly to my heart

"A hearse carries a dead body,
What carries a dead soul?
The world mourns over a dead person,
Who mourns a dead hope?
A wreath decorates a dead body,
What decorates a dead spirit?
If the spirit dies before the body,
What carries the Death with it?

✨Other than these lines there were stories ned "Darkness" and "Fear" were so amazing. The central praiseworthy thing about this book is that the stories are fascinating and thought-provoking. There is a poem that arouses your senses and then the prose that supervises your thought process. Isn't that interesting?? Damn exquisite I know right!!

✨I'm so grateful I got an opportunity to browse this wonderful book and will cherish the experience I had flipping through it for a long time. Honestly, my experience with this book was phenomenal. A terrific read which doesn't let you keep the book down for a minute.

Happy reading 📚

There is a famous quote pertaining to how life is all about taking risks, and how if we never take a risk, we will not be able to succeed or achieve our dreams, that if we are not willing to risk the unusual, then we will have to settle for the ordinary.

‘Conversations’ by Rajeev Nanda is one such book about different stories and poems that have been the result of the observations by author and his deliberate pondering about the challenges and hardships that we all come across in our day to day life.

Self esteem is the one thing that is considerably one of the hardest and challenging thing to come by, and even more harder to maintain.

However, on the brighter side, this is one of the book that will not only help us get to build our confidence but also assist and advise us to belief in our own self.

Even though all the poems and stories in the book were extremely engrossing and had eons of knowledge and guidance that we can learn from, the one story which touched a nerve and would be my favorite amongst all of them would be The Truth Club.

Good friends are people who are not afraid to tell and speak the truth even when the other does not want to hear about it. So, when a group of six friends realize how they have not been quite open with each other, they begin a truth meeting of sorts and the revelations that came from it were sort of an eye opener for all.

Every now and then, everyone needs a booster, and this book was the perfect testament of such to the readers. I liked how the author has compiled and brought forward an array of collection for us to learn from, hence I am going to give this book FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Author Rajeev Nanda's 'The Conversations' draws the readers towards a thought provoking stories where as a reason get an opportunity to be a part of the conversation.
The conversation which involves thinking rather than verbal talk and the conversations that undertake with one's own life and the aspects around the life.
The Title that involves people but three empty chairs visible in the cover directs the readers to concentrate on the content of the book.

The stories actually seem to be a mirror of our life that include our own flaws but present them to us without complexity.
Infact the order of the stories are well arranged.
Through this book, the Author makes a reader to interact with themselves as we read them.
One may need not be a part of the story, but the themes are something that has already taken place with us.
As the characters communicate in the stories, as a reader we would hear them out to understand.

The theme of the stories I found to be unique.
I personally love short story books but this one was too different that has changed my perspective about the genre.
The way of presentation was the best part in this Book accompanied with the clear writing style.
Among all the stories, My personal favourite one was 'Conversation 198'.
It was a story where I connected with both the perspective.

However I feel I am biased for choosing one particular story because there are more than 6 stories that took me by surprise with their straight forward content.
Overall it has a captivating content with deep thought provoking stories that one must read to enlarge their perspective towards life as a whole.

💭This book is a collection of 17 poems and stories divided into various themes about the various challenges and dilemmas we face, discussions between individuals about life, it’s risks and the price we pay for it. Each story is themed on topics like life, death, dreams, love or heartbreak. These are simple yet genuine conversations of questions we ask ourselves everyday and how we emerge out of it with a fresh prospective.

💬I was captivated by ‘Tête-à-tête’ lines and it’s just stuck in my head. Some I’m listing below:

“Why do they fight everyday? Whose blood makes the sky red? Doesn’t the night realize that even if it wins the sun, it is still a loser? Winning the sun does not mean winning it’s sunshine too.”

“I expect high standards from everyone. Should I lower my standards just because people around me are unable to achieve them? I think not! I expect people around me to rise up to my expectations.”

I mean ‘WOW’ don’t we ask such questions from ourselves everyday?

Another one from ‘Inspection’

“If I cannot love myself, whom can I expect to love me? If I do not trust myself, whom can I expect to place trust in me.”

…and so many more…I can sun up the book in two words short and deep conversations that will leave a drastic and changing effect on you. It’s intense, captivating and emotional.

💬Reflecting on inner human conflicts and perspectives exalting the pursuit of inner peace. It is a collection that is deeply profound, emotional and yet pragmatic. It is a book that makes you ponder, wonder and reflect not just on the realities of today but also where we are headed as a society and as individuals.

📣 CONVERSATIONS 📣
By Rajeev Nanda

🖍️ CONGRATULATIONS is an Anthology, in which the author has beautifully delivered more intriguing topics like philosophy devotional, and more about life.

🖍️The treasure this book gives us are Timeless information, great words of wisdom and excellent advice from, perhaps we can say the greatest personal development book ever published.

🖍️It is impossible to translate our burning desire into action without belief. You must have faith: you must believe in your plan, and more importantly, believe in yourself. Of course, this is easier said than done. One concrete way to foster faith is through autosuggestion. The idea here is that you can come to believe something by repeating it to yourself sufficiently. Repetition of thought is powerful, and the author claims it in his anthology.

🖍️The last topic in this anthology "CONVERSATIONS"..Is wonderful. I have to say hats off to the author for his plucky effort. He won it.I really, really liked his writing. It was modern, quick and to the point. His writing made this a fast-paced read. And how beautiful the cover is, wow!

🖍️Well, at first glance, I thought it was a pure romance book(coz of the cover) but no, it's not. It's better than that because it focuses on something very precious to every mankind.

🖍️Mystical musings aside, Author's philosophy makes sense, and not in the vague "no shit, Sherlock" sense. He believes that "riches begin in the form of thought," and he makes this claim concrete. Desire, believe, act, and persist, he advises. If you do these things, you cannot fail – and never forget that "a quitter never wins-and-a winner never quits."

🖍️ Totally Recommended!!!

The book which I will suggest to you folks today is an exceptionally captivating and extremely fascinating book the substance of this book will make you fall head over heels for this book.

Conversations are a piece of our monotonous routine - the important minutes and the ones we'd prefer to neglect. Rajeev Nanda has made an exemplary showing by writing down an out and out particular however process every last one of us go through during one stage or the other in the course of our life. They catch contemplations of the speakers and the quiet around them catches the implicit articulations. One kind word can warm three cold-weather months says a Japanese precept. Simultaneously, the injuries by words are more profound than those by swords. It is this sorcery of words and circumstances that Rajeev Nanda has perfectly caught in his first fiction book "Conversations".

Credit to the style and specialty of composing of the writer of this book, who it appears, has experienced each word and line he has written down. In any case, how can it be so wonderfully, distinctively, and vivacious? There is a beam of trust, a guarantee of improvement, a parcel of positive energy that you get while perusing the book. Presumably many would peruse it once more, and once more, to get a handle on a definitive quintessence of the work and its profundity. Praise to the style and craft of composing of the writer of this book, who it appears, has experienced each word and line he has written down. 'Darkness' discusses life, soul, and body; furthermore about a profound interface among the three. It is an exquisite sonnet. 'Snowstorm' is likewise a story that contacted me someplace in my internal heart. However, underestimate it, any place you are in anything age opening, you will undoubtedly get from each word you read in this book that has come directly from the core of the essayist; significantly more than you would have expected ever.

The book titled "Conversations" is an exemplary presentation of how simple and smallest things affect the life in the greatest ways. As intellectual people often say, "conversations are what we have and what we don't" this book presents the hidden aspects of it and co relates it with the life. The book shows us how life becomes monochromatic in absence of meaningful conversations.

The author Rajeev Nanda has written this book in an amazingly reader friendly way. He has specifically shown that even a short but inspiring and kind conversation can miraculously transform lives. The short yet interesting exemplary stories and verses written by the author in this book are worth reading for every human being. I loved the reflective writing of the author and the way he tried to prove that "visualising a glass as half filled with water and half filled with air" is not possible untill we realise little things in our lives.

I also liked the personal touch given by the author in this book. The incidents of his college days were definitely sort of self-realization and thought provoking descriptions. I also pretty much agree with the author's hard belief in "being lucky is a perspective". The life around us is full of examples that prove this statement to be true.

Overall, i loved reading "conversations" a lot and infact, I'm going to re-read it in a while. The book has been excellently written by the author and keeps you hooked throughout it. I would recommend it to every buddy out there.

The book entails a collection of various stories and poems. Some of the writings namely, Tête-à-tête, The Taxi Ride, Four Eulogies, The Rabbit Hole, and The Truth Club are profound and thought-provoking. The first poem is my favorite one and the line that touches my heart goes like this,

"I have all these fires raging inside me,
of love and lust, Of hate and trust
But, all I need is one flame of serenity."

I felt the stories weren't constructive enough and it missed to hook me. The writing style is thematic and I find it different with each story. The author touched a variety of emotions, feelings, beliefs, and philosophical ideas through his stories. Some of the stories were blended with philosophy and given out well, nevertheless, the concentration of philosophy outweighed the root story.

The cover doesn't entice me, it could have been more attractive for the kind of stories exemplified in the book. However, the title 'Conversations' is well inclined to the stories. One of the main things I find difficult as a general reader in this book is the usage of vocabulary added by the author, which is stiff and I have to peep into a dictionary often to find the meaning and for the same reason, I would not suggest for the beginners to go with this book. The major elements that made me finish this book are the transparency of the stories and the way of expression. The author served the stories in a way that anyone can relate with the stories. It is worth giving a try, I would recommend this book to fictional readers who are curious about reading unusual stories.

This was a very different and new type of book for me and i am very much impressed after reading this book. As the title "Conversations" suggests what we see in this book is ordinary individuals having conversations or discussion about the risks they have taken and the prices they have paid in their life. This book is a collection of 17 fascinating, realistic short stories and poems including real life characters who worked very hard and overcame difficult circumstances. This book is based on real people and real life incidents which makes this book even more interesting. In most of the stories the main character was facing some kind of confusion on the important decisions they had to make and answer to the confusion came through conversations. First story of this book is my favourite. I really liked the poems in the book. Author gives wisdom in every story author which author observes himself and with the help of his. experience he gives us a message After reading two stories I got so engaged in the book that i finished reading this book in 2 sittings. All the stories are a reflection of one's perspective of their life journey. Stories had both sad and happy incidents in them. Somehow author manages to connect with the readers. Author's writing style is brilliant. He makes us feel that we are a part of their story, We can sense their emotions. I recommend this book to everyone there are a lot of things a person can learn from someone else's experiences. This book will change your perspective of certain things.

“If I cannot love myself, whom can I expect to love me?
If I do not trust myself,
Whom can I expect to place trust in me?
If I never make time for myself?
Whom can I expect to take time out for me?”

"Conversations" by "Rajeev Nanda" is a collection of seventeen ingenious, realistic, and deeply fascinating short stories and poems involving real-life characters' conversations who navigate through challenges and endeavor to make sense of life in their unique, challenging circumstances.
The stories reflect various sad and happy incidents characters face in their life, like death, disease, disappointment, love, and hope. From the first story, "Splinters," I got hooked to the book, this story is about dreams and how fragile they are, and the splinters of broken dreams are always in our hearts.

This collection of stories is both stirring and perceptive. With a minimalist and inspirational wordplay, the author successfully portrays a whirlwind of emotions to the readers; what I like the most is that there is hope and positive vibes in each story.

With his lucid writing, the author evokes an emotional response within me to feel the emotions of the characters in each story. The captivating narration drew me into the book. The book's calm pace goes well with bountiful authors' conversations, which are best enjoyed unhurriedly like a popsicle.
Overall, I will recommend this book to all readers.

.
I dont know if anyone can relate to it , but I definitely know how it feels to love and to dream and how smooth the success or final stone looks like a trophy it is never so , it is a mixture , bag full of so many things that one can never ever dream of , one cannot have all the things they know and there comes the connection the conversations and the meaning of this book .

Nevertheless I loved the narration it was beautiful in the sense that it invoked me to keep reading it , its different from other readings I have done , this made me more emotional it was the words , or the way sentences were presented or something like that I dont know but it was beautiful in the way it connected .

I feel like there could not be an appropriate title then the one that has been given to it , and to those who have read the book know the significance of the chair for those who haven't consider it as an invitation to sit and start having the much needed conversation to make the connection you will cherish by reading this book .
My favourites were ' misfit ' and ' darkness' , and connected to so many lines like the one where it was mentioned about creating those walls around because of past experiences and not allowing anyone near for friendship anymore .

Someone looking for a read rhat connects to them , makes them happy and cherish what it is this is the one reading to pick .
