I really wanted to love this book, but Fee was not it. I think the author had so many miss falls with this book. I loved Angelo I thought that he was a great MMC and mafia boss. I could even get with Gino as the villain. But Fee Just had so many mistakes. Like if you knew someone was harassing and stalking you. You are just going to send your 9 year old daughter to school after he try to kidnap her and pulled her hair. All though this book Fee just made dumb and bad choices. I understand being strong but she was just careless and stupid. I hate to use those words but I was highly disappointed when it came to her. I would give this book less stars but I felt like everyone else was great. It took me longer to read this book because I lost interest due to all of the not smart decisions Fee made. I read other books from this author and liked them, but this was definitely a miss for me. This book could have been something great, but it fell short with Fee.

Cursed Confessions is book 4 in the Mafia Mysteries series. It's a steamy, OTT, age gap, secret pregnancy, enemies-to-lovers, mafia romance. Sofia "Fee" is a single mom to the adorable her Lucille "Lou." Her family owns a neutral tailor shop in the middle of mafia territory. Until a new player enters, putting her in danger. Angelo Pirelli Jr. is a hunky mafia don who ends up saving her multiple times and becomes enthralled with her, vowing to protect her. I typically love Ajme's stories, but this one was just ok for me. I didn't care for Sophia and didn't really feel intense chemistry. I did love Lou and was happy our couple got a happy ending after the drama but didn't enjoy as much as others. 3.5☆s for me.

Sofia Saldana a.k.a. Fee is a single mother to a nine year old Lucille Saldano a.k.a. Lou who's an old soul with the mind and intellect of a grown woman. One night when she was fifteen years old, she decided to sneak out of her house and went to a party with her friends and this is where she meets Jonah Ansel a college sophomore. They spend the night dancing until he started plying her with alcohol until she was drunk, then forced her into the alley and rape her. He disappeared from her life after that and she never saw him again. Everyone found out and she became a social pariah and she had to drop out of school. Her grandfather took her in and gave her a job at Perfezione. It was only place where she felt safe. Fee is very thankful for her grandfather who have helped her raised Lou, gave her an apartment so that she could have a place of her own. He thought her everything that she knows about the business and she's now a talented seamstress. If it wasn't for him she wouldn't know what to do. Every night Fee as relive the nightmare of the rape and wake up in sweat and screaming.
One day Fee was adjusting Jimbo's Ginille Consigliere of the Pirelli organization suit when door jingle and Don Gino Timpone walked in. They thought that he wanted to start a fight with Jimbo, but he came in to inform them that he would be collecting protection money from them. Zip and Gino's father Antonio had made a deal that he wouldn't have to pay a fee. However, he told them that the deal was dead with his father and he started beating on Zip. Jimbo was upset and tell them that he was going to inform Don Angelo Pirelli Jr. Gino is known as a brutal, greedy, nasty, vicious and malicious Don. Gino threatens Perfezione bottom-line and her family's safety by wanting them to pay him twenty thousand dollars. Angelo decided to go to the shop and get measured for a suit and checked things out. He thought that he was going to see his old friend Zip but was shocked when he saw Fee behind the counter. He was smitten but the beautiful young woman and it was lust-at-first-sight for both of them. He had left shop when his driver told him that Gino had walked into the shop and when he came upon them he saw him have Fee pressed up on the wall and was even more upset after he saw what he did to her face.
Perfezione wasn't in Angelo's territory so when he threatened Gino he reminded him and told him that he would be back. Zip or Gino didn't know that they were
under is protection even though he's unaware of it. Angelo put off everything and spend the day with her at the shop just in case Gino comes back. He later took her and her family out dinner. The two spend the night together where they made passionate love. Angelo spent the night and was awaken to Fee screaming Jonah's in her sleep. She decided to open up and tell him about her past and instead of disgust and pity he was protective. His words was soothing and for the first time in years she felt liberating instead of the old pain an terrified. But she could say anything else she saw that Angelo's body went rigid then she smell the smoke and realized that the shop was on fire. Angelo believes that it was Gino Timpone's handiwork. It's his twisted idea of revenge for Fee not coughing up the protection money. Jonah saw Fee on the news and went to see her, and when he saw that she had a daughter he asked if she was his because she looked like his sister and tell her that he and his wife was getting a divorce because they wanted children and he wanted a DNA test. He was acting like he had amnesia about the rape like it was consensual.
He then try to kidnap Lou from her school but was unsuccessful. Jonah is nasty, psychopathic, unhinged delusional man. Angelo thought that it was for the best that Fee and Lou came and live with him since he was on the hunt and knew where the shop was. Angelo never knew that he needed Fee until she came into his life. She and Lou gave him the family that he never knew that he was missing and wanted. She's the light to his darkness. Angelo would do anything to protect his two girls whether it's to start a mob war with his rival or take on Sofia unhinged sociopath ex. Angelo and Sofia's chemistry was magnetic and electrifying and they burn up the pages. The two fought against adversity in order to get their HEA. Will Jonah get what he deserves? And will the La Families be successful in getting rid of Gino? Will Perfezione get repair and back on running and regain their neutrality?

This is a little different from typical mafia romances. Reminds me of old time mafia movies where mafia families each had their own territories and store owners paid protection to the family in control of their territory.

In this story, Peferzione, is highlighted. Peferzione is a tailor shop known for it's custiom made suits and owned and run by Giuseppe Saldano and his granddaughter, Sophia, whom he's taught all tephe tricks of his trade. Although Peferzione is in Antoni Timpone territory, it is considered neutral ground as all the mafia Dons use their services. This arrangement between Antoni and Giuseppe and the other Dons, has been in effect for years and is honored by all.. But Antoni Timpone has died, and his son Gino, who was exiled to Chicago for overstepping, is now back and refusing to honor the agreement. He's demanding exhorbitant protection money, more than Giuseppecand Sohia can pay and threatening their famly.

Angelo Pirelli, one of the five New York Don's visits Perfezione for hs suit after one of hs men, previoysly their mentions that Gino may be causing problems. It is Sophia who waits on him. Attraction is their, but neither acts on it...until after he's departed and one of his men informs he Gino just went into the shop. He immediately turns around and arrives in time to see Gino threaten Sophia and hurting her. He manages to stop it Andrew get rid of Gino, but he's worried for Sophia.

But Gino isn't done...his plans are bigger than just money from Peferzione. And it looks like he has backing from Chicago. His threats, injuring innocents, car bomings and arson are bringing too much attention, but without the other Don's suport, Angelo's hands are tied. And why should they care about one little tailor shop not in their territory? Angelo is going to have his hands full trying to convince the other families, that Gino is a threat to them and it's not just his growing relationship with Sophia and her 9 yr old daughter Lou that has him concerned.

This is a both fall first so I love their growing relationship. Sophia's had her own troubles and, if not for her grandfather, who knows where she and her daughter would have been, so I love that she has Angelo to look out for her. I also loved the daughter Lou....she's fiesty, smart and a pistol! She adds the comic relief! Plenty of action, excitement and steam! Love the old time mafia movie vibe too. 4.75 stars.

1.5* DNF. Really not well written at all, and the mfc makes the most stupid decisions.

Oh good grief. Where do I start with how bad this was? The writing is terrible, Angelo as a mafia don was laughable, and Fee acts like an idiot all the way through the book! The baddie is another don who acts like he’s psychotic and I just didn’t believe in him, as he’s way too over the top. There’s way too many different plots in this book and baddies are everywhere. 😂

Fee lives with her nine year old daughter Lou at her grandfathers tailors shop, where she also works with him as a tailor. When a don threatens her and the shop, Angelo rescues her, and moves her into his house with her daughter. So Fee moves in with a don who she barely knows anything about with her young daughter??? Erm…. ????
Fee and Angelo are of course having s*x and even that’s boring. No foreplay, pretty much straight to it.

Then there’s the other danger in Lou’s father. I won’t spoil it but it’s beyond ridiculous. Lou’s father has never seen her and didn’t know about her but somehow manages to find Fee and Lou at her school. How? He later threatens her daughter and attacks her, but Fee decides that Lou is too young to be told about her dad. Noooo!! Is Fee insane???

While this is all going on Angelo is at war with with the evil don, who for some bizarre reason hates Fee and Angelo. OH COME ON!!

I just can’t read anymore. It’s terrible. Mistakes ahead;
🔵 Angelo and Fee have a lot of unprotected s*x and there’s no discussion about are they clean, and is Fee on contraception. As a single mother is she not thinking about it?
🔵 Angelo is one one of the top dons. Yet he only seems to have three men.
🔵 Fee is outraged and hurt when she finds out her grandfather kept a secret from her. Yet she doesn’t tell her daughter who the man was that attacked her, as she’s too young.
🔵 Unbelievable plot about how they acquired the tailor shop.
🔵 Angelo shows Fee where he has counterfeit money made. Yeah of course he does. 😂😂
🔵 Angelo is the most inept mafia don ever! Lou’s father manages to follow them all over the town yet he never notices him?
🔵 Angelo lives in a brownstone with no security outside. As a mafia don he’s constantly under threat from other dons.

There’s way more than that in mistakes. Sorry, it’s terrible.

This is the 4th story in the Mafia Mysteries Series. When Sofia, Fee experiences trauma at 15 years old finds herself living with her grandfather after her. Other tosses her out. Years later as a single mom with her spitfire daughter, Lou they find themselves in the middle of a Mafia situation where she has no power. Fee has helped her grandfather run Perfezione’s making it a neutral business for all the La Familia and those in need of help in the community. When Gino returns becoming the new Don of his family he’s on a warpath to destroy everything and anyone he sets his sight on, Fee and her business! When Don Angelo meets Fee at her shop getting a suit altered he finds himself taken by a beautiful woman, Fee. These two along with Lou spend time together and he’s there every step along the way protecting them the best he can. Both Angelo and Fee have a past that haunt them and it’s wonderful how they each share and support one another sticking together to get through each horrible and unexplainable situation. Angelo, Fee and Lou find themselves a family with love until the cost of being together causes Fee to take Lou to protect Angelo only to open the door for the devil, Gino a chance to deliver threats and destruction. This heartfelt story is full of emotions, secrets, fighting for power and twist you will not see coming will take you on an all consuming journey. This is not my first book from this author, and I love a good mafia romance story, so I was excited to read this one. Unfortunately, this one wasn't the one for me. I enjoy stories where there's some type of chemistry between the main characters and when it came to this story, there was no chemistry between Sofia and Angelo. He saved her from a couple of tough situations, and they had sex, but I needed chemistry or something. I would have taken lust at some point, but it was just sex. This story had a lot going on, but the storyline dragged, and I had to force myself to finish this story. This story had steamy scenes, physical abuse, it mentions rape, an attempted kidnapping, there's mafia drama with one of the Dons basically throwing a tantrum and wreaking havoc in people lives. This story was too much and not enough at the same time. It's really hard for me to love a story when you don't really care for the main characters, and it feels like there is absolutely no chemistry between them and as much as I was hoping this would be a hit for me it just wasn't. However, I will say that just because this story wasn't the one for me doesn't mean that it wouldn't be a great story for other readers. My review is based on how I felt about the story; my opinion and others may feel differently so I'd say read the story to see if it's the story for you.

Cursed Confessions is a fantastic age-gap, secret baby, and Mafia romance story. Cursed Confessions follows the journey of Angelo and Sofia. When I first read the overview for Cursed Confessions, I found it to be quite interesting enough to get my hands on the book to find out what was going to happen between the main characters. Sofia is a single mother who is struggling with designing suits. Angelo is known as the most ruthless mafia don who can get whom and what he wants. Cursed Confessions is a fabulous addition to the mafia romance genre, this book is both suspenseful and a definite page-turner of a romance. I couldn’t get enough of Angelo and Sofia’s their unique romance story. Cursed Confessions is most definitely a mafia romance story that I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who loves reading mafia romance stories. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing stories by this fantastic author.

Cursed Confessions an age gap secret pregnancy, mafia romance that follows Sofia "Fee" her daughter Lucille "Lou" (you're going to love her!) and mafia don Angelo Pirelli Jr.

Sofia's family's tailor business prides itself on being neutral in the mist of mafia territory. All has been smooth until a new leader takes over one of the families. Now he's out for blood and power but he's not the only one that's threatens everything she loves her past also comes back with a vengeance.
Angelo steps in when Sofia is threatened and is immediately smitten with her. Soon she's all he thinks about unfortunately that infuriates the ones who are threatening her. I loved Angelo yet at times I was frustrated with how for a powerful Don he appeared overwhelmed, clueless and honestly pathetic at times. Thank goodness he redeems himself towards the end. Now don't get me started on Fee's mother.

This is the fourth instalment in the Mafia Mysteries Series. *Cursed Confessions* is a captivating age-gap, secret baby, and Mafia romance that follows the journey of Angelo and Sofia. Sofia is a single mother struggling to design suits with the guidance of her grandfather. At the same time, Angelo is known as one of the most ruthless Mafia Don, capable of getting whatever—or whomever—he desires. But Gino wants to take everything he holds dear to him away, and he is ruthless.

I loved the bond between Fee and Lou her daughter, and how Angelo protects them both, she is such a sweet child.

*Cursed Confessions* is a fantastic addition to the Mafia romance genre, offering suspense and a compelling narrative that keeps you turning the pages. I couldn't get enough of the unique romance between Angelo and Sofia. I would highly recommend *Cursed Confessions* to anyone who enjoys Mafia romance stories.

Wow, this book sucked me from the start, this book I felt very emotional while reading it, the story had great depth and the characters were captivating. This story was about Sofia Saldano and her daughter Lucille (Lou) went and lived with her grandfather Sofia also worked with him. The Don's son Gio, started coming in demanding money, protection money, Angelo Pirelli Jr happened to come into the shop and all he wanted to do was he offered them his protection for free even though it was not his turf, that was causing a Mafia war. Gio done the unthinkable and now he is the Don, then Angelo was getting to know Sofia and really likes her now her passed wants to raise it's ugly head and starts demanding. What's a girl to do!.

Sofia and her grandfather own a tailoring shop where suits are made. Their shop is a neutral place where any of the mafia families can come. Don Gino has taken his fathers place, now he wants to change rules his father had put in place. Don Angelo meets Sofia for the first time, when he comes into the shop to buy a suit. There is instant attraction felt by both. This story is action-packed, has suspense, drama and wonderful characters.

La Familia regarded Perfezione as a neutral zone where no Mafia disagreements were allowed, but then Gino Timpone inherited the Timpone family after his father's death. Gino threatens Sofia and her tailor store but Don Angelo Pirelli meets Sofia and is instantly attracted to her.

There is a spark between Sofia and Angelo but they have the problem of Gino being determined to ruin their lives and take over Angelo's territory to deal with. And a face from Sofia's past appears to make things even more complicated.

I loved Angelo, Sofia and her daughter, Lou. Both Sofia and Lou were determined to stand up for themselves. A great read.

Cursed Confessions is Angelo Pirelli Jr. and Sofia Saldano's story and we can't forget her daughter Lucille "Lou". Their journey is very intense, emotional and consuming. It's raw and full of heartache but it's also beautiful.

"Angelo's touch sets my world on fire."

Angelo and Sofia face a lot of problems coming from both of their pasts. I found myself wanting desperately to make Gino and Jonah pay dearly for the messes they were causing. And then there's Lou, or Louisville Slugger as Angelo calls her. That little girl is smart as a whip and fierce way beyond her years. I love this story and these characters!

Families Come Together in Different Ways -
This was a heart pumping, action-packed romance with intriguing characters, highly descriptive steamy encounters, that were so realistic, that I felt like I needed to smoke a cigarette and a captivating storyline, that had me on the edge of my seat. I found myself hooked on the story from the first chapter and unable to stop reading until the end. All I can say at this point is that Ajme Williams has outdone herself again with giving us this truly amazing piece of writing. Grab a copy of this must read book and you won’t be disappointed.

Whenever I get the chance to read a book by Ajme Williams I always jump at it. I love the way she writes, the characters and the worlds she has them inhabit. This book tells how Sofia aka Fee and Angelo came together. Theirs isn't your typical romance it all started when Don Angelo set out to protect her from her daughter's biological father. Her daughter was the result of rape so if that's a trigger for you be aware.

The story is fast-moving and well-written it includes instant attraction, drama, chemistry, romance and violence and takes Fee and Angelo along a rocky road before they find their HEA. I loved how their story ended!

Sofia/Fee works for her grandfather in his tailor shop, in neutral territory in between several mafia families. Everything is business as usual until Gio, the Don's son, comes demanding protection money. Angelo from a rival family, wants to offer it for free thus starting a turf war. Angelo finds himself attracted to Fee and spends time with her and her daughter, Lou.

But Gio is not going away quietly, and Angelo will need to protect both girls. There is a lot of drama and action packed in this story. The author never disappoints.

I feel like this story was rushed. Every page was a different dramatic event. Nothing drawn out or explained. The MCs didn’t have a connection. Not at least that I could feel through words on the page. The entire story felt like wam bam thank you ma’am, the end. Kinda like their sex life.

Which brings into question the time of all the events. Day 1, Gino makes his threats, a few days later Angelo rescues Sophia at the store. Day 4 they’re living at Angelo’s. Day 5-10 argument with Gino and La Familia. BAM, Fee is pregnant. I don’t like a slow burn when it comes to mafia romance novels. But this storyline is so crammed and rushed that the timeline seems way off.

a let down unfortunately

loved angelo but i felt like i was just shouting at them (fee in particular) because how can she be so dumb? daughter tries to get kidnap then sends her to school knowing he’s a threat and that it literally happened at the school the first time. And why wasn’t angelo having men with lou and fee the whole time - with all the threats on them there was no security at all despite it being mentioned at the start it just never seemed to happen? but oh it’s fine there’s some security cameras x
this didn’t even feel mafia-ish like in comparison to others due to the security factors i just mentioned and angelo always wanting the police involved

This is a well written mafia romance with a strong cast of characters centering on Angelo, Sophia and her daughter Lucille. The author does a great job developing the story and brings it to life with her descriptive writing and perfectly painted scenes. She takes you into their lives with chemistry and heat and kept me turning the pages with emotions and heartbreak. It moves fluidly and is a terrific read. Loved and recommend reading.

This is book is a captivating and thrilling dark, mafia romance read. Williams delivers in a unique to her way this age gap romance that thrills with it's exciting, dark and dangerous storyline. Smooth flowing but still fast paced with all the steamy chemistry and scenes but somehow among the darkness there is sweetness too. Characters Angelo, Sophia and her daughter Lucille will take you on a wonderful, emotional, and heartwarming journey.

This author nor this book needs an introduction because all of Ajme's romance reads are out of this world FR@@KING AWESOME. I loved reading about Sofia and Angelo's romance story and their chemistry was so hot even though they start out as enemies towards one another and end up being HOT lovers. The suspense about killed me because of how BRILLIANTLY written this mafia romance read truly is. I had this read devoured in a day it was that GREAT of a book and I knew once I started, I wasn't going to sleep until I finished reading it.

So Good!

Angelo is so good for Sofia and Lou,they both need that strong,fierce mafia man.Fee and Lou fought through much,threats,almost losing their life and home,plus Noona.Angelo comes in to help but things go from bad to worst,more threats,killings.Gio is behind their biggest threats,it seems that overtime Angelo and Sofie make a few steps ahead,Gio does something to make them have go back,he is very determined to end Angelo, Sofia, Lou and Zip.But finally bad things come to end.Very intense,sappy,loving in parts.

An awesome book

This is a very good book. The characters and plot are very well written. The h is a tailor and the family business is in neutral territory. There’s a new Don who has decided to ignore the agreement made between his father and her grandfather. This guy is cruel and super crazy. The H steps in to help her and falls instantly in love with her. There’s so much action and drama. It’s a page turner. Thy went through so much before they found their HEA. Great epilogue.

This is the fourth book in the Maifia Mysteries Series, Sofia (Fee) is a single mother to Lucille (Lou) who is adorable, owns a Tailor shop with her Grandfather in the heart of mafia territory, but remains a neutral place. Things change in one of the Mafia families and changes this, which puts them in danger. Angelo another mafia Don ends up saving her on a few occasions and wants to protect her and her daughter. This book has some action, suspense, danger and a HEA.

Ajme Williams has written a spine tingling mafia book with her distinctive style and attention to details. Sofia (Fee ) is so dang strong to be the single mother who walks a thin line between mafia families. She is raising her daughter, Lou, to be strong and independent. Their lives are about to change in a monumental way. Angelo, who has history with Fee, is again in the picture. There are unexpected twists and turns that make this a book a fantastic read. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
