If a relationship begins with a single sock, is it destined to be a matched pair?

Ivy is an up-and-coming lawyer with a promising future but a dreadful personal life. As the holidays approach, she turns to a family tradition to knit socks for the homeless, but will it be enough to warm her soul this year?

After spending ten years proudly serving his country in the Air Force, Captain Felix now relies on the kindness of others in a homeless shelter to save for a necessary back surgery. A gift of knitted socks brings the pair together, and Ivy not only becomes a listening ear but also a willing participant.

Life takes an unexpected turn when the Attorney falls for her Client. What is Ivy willing to watch unravel? Her career and his case, or their relationship and future together?

This is my first book by this author and I truly enjoyed it. It’s a cozy little romance that makes you want to root for the main characters to get their happily ever after”. I loved how the main couple met and how they supported each other. It’s nice to see a book where the couple are saving themselves for marriage. This is a clean romance with just kissing and no spice. It didn’t take away from the romance at all.

Christmas Soulmates is a heartwarming tale that truly captures the spirit of giving and the transformative power of connection. Ivy, an ambitious lawyer, finds herself at a crossroads in both her personal and professional life. As she engages in the tradition of knitting socks for the homeless, her journey intertwines with that of Captain Felix, a veteran facing his own struggles. Their relationship begins in a unique way, sparked by a single sock, which cleverly symbolizes the chance for a perfect match.

Rabe expertly weaves themes of compassion, sacrifice, and the importance of community, especially for those who have served in the military. As someone with a military background, I found the portrayal of Felix's challenges particularly poignant, evoking a strong emotional response. The narrative inspired me to think about how we can all contribute to the lives of others during the holiday season and beyond.

The chemistry between Ivy and Felix is palpable, and their story unfolds with genuine depth and complexity. Ivy's internal conflict between her career aspirations and her growing feelings for Felix adds a compelling layer to the narrative, making readers root for their love story.

Overall, Christmas Soulmates beautifully encapsulates the essence of the holidays while reminding us of our shared humanity. It left me with a warm feeling and a renewed desire to help those in need, particularly veterans. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a heartfelt read that resonates long after the last page.

Christmas Solemates is the perfect Christmas read for those who love a good cozy Christmas romance story. This is the first time I’ve read a book by Jenny Rabe, and it did not disappoint.
I had the pleasure of listening to Lisa Lynn Sandlin's narration, which brought this story to life with all the heart and emotion. I could not stop listening. If you have not listened to a narration by Lisa, you are truly missing out.
The setting for this book was good. I loved seeing the heart of homeless shelters. This is something you don’t always get to see, so it made for a great read.
The storyline was great. Ivy is a lawyer who likes to help out at the homeless shelter in her free time. When she knits a bunch of socks for the people at the shelter, she accidentally gives away her beloved pair from her grandmother in the box. To her surprise, it ends up in none other than Felix’s hands.  As fate would have it, Felix needs Ivy’s help. Felix is a veteran, discharged for medical reasons. He cannot seem to get the medical help that he needs and cannot afford the surgery, and that is how he finds himself needing refuge at the homeless shelter. Working as hard as he can to get back up on his feet and get the medical help that he needs, he asks Ivy for legal help. Ivy gets approval to work on the pro bono case. The more time they spend together, the more they find each other falling for one another.
This romance is the perfect clean, kisses-only romance.

Jenny Rabe wrote a heartwarming Christmas story that is full of love.

Felix used to be an air force pilot until a horrific accident occurred. The VA has dropped the ball and won’t pay for his back surgery. He lives in a homeless shelter so he can save money to pay for the surgery while he suffers through tremendous pain daily.

Ivy is a lawyer and volunteers at the shelter. She also takes on pro bono cases for veterans in Felix’s position. When Ivy first walked into the shelter she mesmerized him. It was love at first site for Felix, but he knew he wasn’t worthy of her attention.

Jenny is tremendously talented and she had me hooked from the first chapter. This book was beautifully written. I love a sweet romance and am looking forward to reading more of Jenny’s books.

This was a cute hallmark vibe holiday romance. Ivy is an attorney that helps military vets get the care they need. She meets Felix who is homeless and he turns out to be a military pilot that was injured.

I love the part about the socks that Ivy knits for the homeless shelter and the story about how she learns and the meaning to her.

This book does not have spice in it was not needed at all. There was so much to the story and depth to the characters and overall it was a sweet romance that kept you engaged.

Disclaimer: I personally know the author. She's amazing.

This was a cute, clean, happy, Hallmarky romance. I love the play-on-words "solemates" in this.
I was bit bummed that there wasn't an epilogue but that's just me. It was a quick read, a sweet novella. And I think it would be a good one to bundle up with at Christmas time.

Super cute romance. I was lucky enough to get a signed copy from the author. There’s an interesting conversation to be had about why a veteran is homeless and can’t afford surgery. The banter is sweet!

I super enjoyed this novel. I haven’t read from the perspective of a wounded vet, so it kept things interesting. The premise was super cute. I loved all the coziness of this tale. A must read to cuddle up with this winter.

I love this story! My heart broke for Felix at the beginning. I could only imagine the pain, physical & emotional, someone like him must go through. Jenny does a great job of bringing the characters to life. She weaves together a believable heart warming romance. This is a must read!

This was a really cute romance Christmas story and it has a very good homeless veteran representation, and some of the problems that many of our veterans arrive home and have to deal with and sometimes even have to fight against. I loved the way everything came together for the story. It works out so well and it is definitely a book to cherish Lisa Lynn Sandlin really brought the characters to life and I enjoyed her narration of this beautiful story.

This book gave me all the feels! I love a warm and cozy Christmas book! And this book didn't disappoint...except there was a little chill here and there. I had, and still have, confidence in this author; she knows how to give sweet and clean heat as well as heart!

Felix, who was injured serving his country as a pilot, is forced to make a decision in order to save money for a surgery that will hopefully give him better quality of life. Living in a homeless shelter isn't what anyone plans for, of course. As a proud man with strong work ethic, he always pitches in, makes deep friendships, and catches the eye of a certain volunteer, Ivy.

Ivy is an attorney who works pro bono cases to help Veterans. As an homage to her nana, Ivy also knits socks and donates them to a certain shelter. Will yarn knitted into a pair of socks be the same yarn that ties a couple together? Or will there be a snag that unravels everything?

Felix decides to take on a pilot job that improves his financial situation to pay for surgery, but in doing so, he ditches happiness and a better chance at love.

I was ready to jump out of Felix's plane with a faulty parachute as Author Jenny Rabe wove this story to its end. I needed to know: are Felix and Ivy just Christmas Solemates or will they be Soulmates?

I highly recommend this novel! Unique concept, sweet character development, great secondary characters, a few twists to keep me on my toes, and Christmas characteristics that I love this time of year!

This would be a great book to purchase for yourself, and how about some gifts while you're at it?
