I love this series…Claudia has created a beautiful setting filled with amazing characters. Small town, second chance and forced proximity are a few of the amazing tropes in this book.

Holden and Jenna have a chance to rekindle their love from many years ago..there are hurt feelings to overcome. A storm forces them together and to get all their feelings out in the open. Their banter is fantastic, their honest conversations are beautiful and their love for one another cannot be denied.

A wonderful second chance love story with amazing characters.

Claudia Burgoa has done it again! I absolutely loved Winter in Kentbury, an incredible small-town second chance at love story, the sixth book in her Kentbury Tales series. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Claudia Burgoa continues to show that she is an amazing storyteller and continues to be one of my favorite authors to read. It was impossible to put Winter in Kentbury down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. Winter in Kentbury is the story of Jenna Santos, owner of The Floral Nook and her first love, Holden Miller. Holden recently returned to Kentbury following a career in the Air Force. He is renovating his home and working on the Miller Vineyard. Holden rescues Jenna after her car breaks down on the way to a wedding venue. After rescuing her, they begin to spend time together, and things change between them. I love the chemistry between Jenna and Holden, their conversation flows so easily, with innuendos and playful banter. I love all the changes that Jenna and Holden make in their lives to have a life with one another. I love the ending of their love story, especially Holden’s proposal. Another favorite part of a Claudia Burgoa love story is always the epilogues that are the perfect ending of their love story. I love how Claudia Burgoa always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. Winter in Kentbury is filled with the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments that I have come to love and expect in a Claudia Burgoa love story, and she did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. I love the characters in Winter in Kentbury, they feel like family and friends. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. I loved catching up with the other characters in the series. Who does not love a family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Winter in Kentbury, who does not love a small-town second chance love story. Highly recommend this incredible love story and am so looking forward to reading the remaining books in the series. I received an advance copy from the author.

I absolutely love Holden and Jenna! Omg Jenna is one tough heroine! The way she was so indifferent to Holden but wasn’t heartless because she was right there talking him through his panic.

These two in had me hooked instantly and I read this book in one sitting. I love the tiny town of Kentbury and all the beautiful people that it has helped heal. Through these sweet, sexy stories I find healing of my own.

If you haven’t “visited” Kentbury you definitely need to asap!

This is book six in The Kentbury Tales series and it is Holden and Jenna’s story and it is definitely a must read. Jenna and Holden have history because at one time they were friends and Jenna had feelings for him only he broke her heart when he left for the military and never acknowledged what they were to each other so now she lives her life and keeps a distance from him so that he can’t hurt her again. Jenna runs her grandmother’s flower shop and lives in the apartment above it but now the shop is struggling with all the bills that are mounting up and Jenna will have to do other wise they could lose everything and then she gets a order for a wedding and feels that this is how she is going to survive but on the way there her van breaks down and now she needs help to get the flowers delivered in time or else everything will be lost including the business. Holden is now out of the military and is suffering from anxiety and PTSD and he is also back in Kentbury but his life had been turned upside down and even though he is trying to move forward it doesn’t seem to be working because he feels on edge the whole time but when he finds out that Jenna had broken down he wanted to go and help her even though years ago he hurt her so badly and wants to somehow make amends for what he did and said. When Jenna and Holden meet again after so many years there attraction and chemistry is still as strong but Jenna had lost all her trust in men including Holden and then the snowstorm means that they will have to stay overnight at his house before they can go and deliver the flowers and Holden is also hoping that Jenna will listen to what he had to say to her but then they give into when the chemistry gets so strong and they end up spending the night together. Will Jenna and Holden be able to communicate and trust what they really feel for each other and take a chance that now is the right time for them to be together or is it already too late for them to get the future that they both always wanted and deserved. I absolutely loved this book so much and it was full of so many emotions, caring and love and it was written with so much care and compassion on a really difficult subject. I read this book in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down as it kept you turning the pages while keeping your attention throughout the whole book and I can’t wait to read more books in the future.

Holden Miller and Jenna Santos' second chance romance has all the swoon, spice, and small-town feels that I love. They were high school sweethearts before Holden left for the Air Force, never looking back and breaking both their hearts. Now he is back in Kentbury, looking for direction after retiring. When he sees Jenna again, he finally feels hope. Jenna has been through so much, but is a survivor. She is struggling to make her flower shop successful, and doesn't need Holden to opening old hurts and resentments. But when they are forced to face each other, their old feelings they thought were buried, come back fast and stronger than before. But they both suffered trauma that hinders them from giving themselves fully. Will they be able to heal, forgive, and trust each other again, or is there too much pain to overcome? This is a moving, and tender romance that took my breath away. Holden and Jenna were hurting but they were the missing piece to make each other whole. I loved how Holden worked to be a better man for himself, and so Jenna could trust that she was safe with him. My heart hurt for what they both went through but soared as they found their way back home to each other. I love this Kentbury series and the seasons that these characters go through to find themselves, family, friends, happiness and true love!

Stephanie Németh-Parker and Robert Hatchet were so perfectly cast to narrate this heartwarming and swoony romance. They completely captured these characters and made me feel all the hope, heartbreak, love, and passion they possessed. They are so easy to listen to and they made this romance even more captivating and delightful.

Winter in Kentbury
Kentbury Tales, Book 6
By: Claudia Burgoa
Narrated by: Stephanie Németh-Parker, Robert Hatchet

This is book 6? This series is so good and so much fun, it flies by! This book is Jenna and Holden's and Claudia Burgoa reaches in and pulls in all the feels and deals with relevant issues with grace and compassion. These two have a history, finding themselves together years later as Jenna is trying to get to a church for her business. Holden comes to her rescue, but the snow is so bad, they end up going to his cabin until the storm subsides. What happens next? Give it a listen! Jenna is an ambitious woman with a wall around her heart. Can Holden knock it down? Holden has some issues dealing with hit past. How will he handle it? This is a fabulous story with an easy flow and fantastic ending. Loved it!

Stephane Nemeth Parker and Robert Hatchet are perfecting cast for this one. Parker comes in as Jenna with the snarky attitude to shield herself from Holden. She finds the sound to make her walls melt, and her compassion grow. Hatchet is Holden, packed with uneasiness, a bit of anger and a whole lot of love. I fell for this book and recommend it and the entire series!

Jenna is a florist in Kentbury. She has taken over the shop from her grandmother but it is struggling and she is working long hours to keep it afloat. She has a wedding booked when her van breaks down in a snow storm and when her friend can’t come to help, she is forced to call her first love, the man who broke her heart when he left without a word, Holden Holden has been through a lot in the last 20 years but he never forgot Jenna. Jenna never forgot Hold either but she remembers all the pain of losing her first love. When a snowstorm stands them at his house will they finally be able to overcome past hurts.

If you want a heartfelt story with redemption and rekindled love, you have to grab this novella. Jenna and Holden have both been through so much in the years they have been apart that it seems impossible that they can find their way back to each other. What’s great about this story is the true love they have for each other. Despite their pain they each work to be a better version of themselves for each other. I loved this story.

I love my visits to Kentbury and as I also love second chances I was excited to get to know Holden Miller and Jenna Santos in Winter In Kentbury ( Kentbury Tales #6) and I wasn’t disappointed. This quick read was everything I expected and so much more.
Jenna is doing her best to keep her grandmothers flower shop going and the last thing she needs is to break down in a storm on her way to deliver her biggest order of the year…..
The last person she needs to help her is the man who broke her heart all those years ago but Holden is the only person available. So will these two get over the past and overcome the hurdles put in their way and will Jenna bring sunshine into Holden’s darkness. One click now to find out.
This is a beautifully written love story, it’s emotional and at times it’s heartbreaking but it’s also full of love. It has characters you can’t help loving, it’s a believable journey and I found myself cheering this couple on. A wonderful addition to the series and I can’t wait for my next visit to one of my favourite small towns.

Once again we get another short yet wonderful Kentbury story. This group of friends/family really know how to wrap themselves around your heart and make you love them. In this book we finally get Holden's story. He's Landon's (Christmas in Kentbury) big brother and he has PTSD that he refused to get help with until Jenna comes back into his life. A snow storm brings them back together. Love and therapy for their own mental health keeps them from missing out on this great and endless love.

What I loved about this story was that they got the second chance they never thought they would get. What irritated me what that Jenna kept holding on to the grudge she had on Holden when he left her at 15. 15! Seriously girlie. You were still a teen growing up and learning the ropes on the world. There is absolutely nothing stating that you would have stayed together throughout his time in the Air Force. You both needed to grow, mature, and learn life. Other than her grudge I truly love this story.

Perfection absolute perfection!!! That’s exactly what Winter In Kentbury was and is . But then again this entire series is truly amazing!!!! I read a ton of Dark Themes romances so it’s not often I get to pick up a series that has the ability to make me smile , to make me laugh out loud, to even make me cry at times all while cheering so freaking hard . But this series has done just that in spades . I’ve genuinely loved every single installment but Jenna and Holden Just may be one of favorite couples yet . Jenna was Such a likable and relatable heroine , trying her best to keep her grandmothers flower shop open . The last thing she. Needed or expected to happen was to get stuck in a terrible snow storm while delivering flowers . And on top of that the person who broke her heart so many years ago - yes Holden !!!! Is the person who comes to her rescue. Is this fate stepping in ? Can they find a way to learn to forgive past hurts and possibly get a second chance at love ? Only time will tell!!!

I love Kentbury, an idyllic small town that has all the warmth of a hot chocolate on a cold day and then some. This is a wonderful second chance romance that puts Holden and Jenna front and center. Jenna is a florist who has taken over her grandmother’s shop, but she is struggling to make ends meet. Holden has come back to find his purpose after serving in the military. The two were good friends years ago but Jenna was left heartbroken when Holden left to join the military. However now she needs his help when her vehicle breaks down during a snowstorm. Ms. Burgoa has a true gift for highlighting issues and beautifully showing the growth of her characters as they heal from their respective trauma. In this case, can Holden and Jenna work to get past their baggage and find a way back to each other even when the obstacles seem insurmountable? Just one click to find out and read the book! It is a warmhearted novella that shows the power of love and how it brings out the best version of oneself.

I am a fan of a military hero / heroine and Holden makes a great one. I appreciated that once he and Jenna reconnected and she was hesitant to give him a second chance, he realized that he needed to work on dealing with his demons from his life in the Air Force as well as his childhood before he could try and win her back. I liked that Jenna didn’t immediately let down her walls and go all in with Holden. They both spent time apart and worked on themselves while rebuilding their friendship through letters.
I liked how the letters they sent to each other in the present allowed them to reconnect, which made a nice counterpoint to the letters she sent that he seemingly ignored when he left town for the Air Force.
As always, I love the characters given to us by Ms. Burgoa. They are good people yet imperfect and work through the mistakes they make to find happiness together.

Holden and Jenna's story is one of second chance romance, forced proximity and overcoming mental illness. Holden and Jenna were inseparable for three years before Holden left to join the Air Force and as Jenna was only 15, he was very aware of the age difference and how young she was. When he didn't anticipate was the hurt he caused to both himself and Jenna and the feelings that never went away. When Jenna is stranded in a snowstorm, Holden comes to her rescue and their one night stranded with each other is a cathartic awakening for them both. Knowing how much work he has to do to on healing himself, Holden cannot commit to any relationship so both decide to put love on hold, instead, pouring themselves into letters to each other.

This is a wonderful story of love, trust and the beauty of second chances. This sixth installment is another glimpse into the beautiful town of Kentbury.

Winter in Kentbury is a sweet, redeeming love story about first love, heartbreak, and second chances. Holden took off for the Air Force years ago, leaving Jenny heartbroken and alone in Kentbury. Now she is struggling with her grandmother's flower shop and he is back in town. Holden is struggling with some issues of his own, PTSD, from his time in the military. When Jenny needs help delivering flowers to a wedding that could make or break her livlihood, Holden comes to her rescue!

Holden and Jenny are forced to spend time together because of the snowstorm and passions are rekindled. These two have a lot to work through and have a shot at a second chance if they want to put in the work. Their spirited banter is charming and engaging and kept me waiting for more! These two are meant to be!

The Epilogue is perfect and always my favorite way to end a book that I don't want to end (the only way I can bear it to end lol!) I loved these two!

📚 ALC Review 📚
Winter In Kentbury, Kentbury Tales Book 6
Author: Claudia Burgoa
Narrators: Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and Robert Hatchet
Rating: 4.5⭐

I love second chance romances, and I thought this one was fantastic. Al the feels! Holden and Jenna have so much baggage to get over. He regrets cutting off all communication with her while he’s away fighting for their country. He left her devastated and heartbroken. He spends the rest of the story making it up to her because he’s never gotten over her.

A chance snow storm forces them to hunker down in his house on his vineyard. And from there they find the right words to start their healing.

I listened to the audiobook of this story and I thought Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and Robert Hatchet did a fantastic job! I felt every emotion and loved it when their voices brought hope to my aching heart.

Thank you Claudia Burgoa for this ALC. The above is my own and personal opinion.

Winter in Kentbury is a quick and heartfelt second-chance romance. The connection between Holden and Jenna is clear and compelling. I enjoyed the audio performance; both narrators’ voices were well suited to their characters. The audiobook was the perfect choice for a quick escape.

While the chemistry between Holden and Jenna is undeniable, the short length of the novella left me wanting more. The pacing felt a bit rushed at times, making it harder to fully invest in their relationship. I would have liked to see the story develop a little more slowly to allow for further emotional exploration.

Overall, it’s a sweet, fast-paced romance—great for a quick, enjoyable listen!

𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐲 is the 6th book in the Kentbury Tales series by Claudia Burgoa, featuring a fast-paced, emotional, second chance romance for Holden and Jenna. I enjoyed their journey through their past hurts, as well as Holden’s combat PTSD. My heart always has a soft spot for the military men.😍🥰 The compelling characters, witty banter, and small town charm were great, as well as a fun twist on the Snowed-In trope! I haven’t made it through all the earlier books in this particular series, but it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the story at all. I look forward to finishing the rest as soon as I can!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Another one falls in Kentbury and this one is reminiscent of a Hallmark christmas movie you know have have to cuddle up to. Here we get the sort of recluse Holden finding himself confronted with his one regret…Jenna. The one person he never wanted to hurt but did anyway. The one person he wishes he could get a second chance with. A chance to make his right. A chance to heal her heart. A chance at what he never thought he deserved. Now snowed in he finds that it all may be possible.
Jenna, never wanted to face the man the broke her into tiny pieces. She never thought that she wanted to face her past in away that could possibly break her further, but Kentbury has a way of miking the scariest of fears become the wish you never dared to wish for yourself come true.
Another hit for the small town of Kentbury! Um I need to get there and find my own HEA!!!!

Winter in Kentbury is a sweet holiday romance that was a joy to read. Ms. Burgoa gives us Holden and Jenna's story that started years ago when she thought they were in love but had her heart shattered. Their story is beautifully written and deals with second chances, PTSD, and finding trust in love once again.
Jenna finds herself in need of rescuing and the last person she wanted was the man who left her and completely shattered her heart. Holden is back home suffering from PTSD and now he is having to spend time with the one woman that he has never stopped loving but knows that to gain her heart back is going to be one of the most difficult things he may have to do. Holden is willing to do whatever he has to get her back.
This story was moving, easy to read and entertaining. I can't wait to see what the next Kentbury book gives us.

This is such a wonderful heartfelt series, that this reader highly recommends. In Winter in Kentbury we meet up with old friends from the series as well as new ones. This is Jenna and Holdens 2nd chance at love story. Well sorta :) Jenna has loved Holden right up until he broke her teenage heart by rebuffing her feelings before he left for the service. It’s now years later and Jenna is still in her small hometown of Kentbury having taken over her grandma’s Flower Shop. Holden has returned home suffering from PTSD. Their journey isn’t an easy one. Their past may be riddled with hurt and pain but after an unintentional re-meeting, could their future possibly be one friendship or maybe even more?

Excellent addition to the series.

Winter in Kentbury is a wonderful second chance read. I enjoyed this one so much. Holden is home and dealing a few flashbacks and is just trying to survive and move on. Jenna is doing everything she can to hold onto her grandma's florist shop. She hasn't had it easy with the men in her life. Mother nature has other plans for Holden being a hermit and Jenna getting to her drop off on time. One night as winter sets in the past gets cleared up. Jenna and Holden have amazing chemistry even though timing wasn't on their side. I love how they take the time to reconnect and get to know each other as they work through what they need. Holden and Jenna are wonderful. I love being in Kentbury and cannot wait for more. Go one click this today.

This novella tells a story about reconnecting with first love. Jenna has had some disappointing relationships since high school and is now just focused on her struggling floral shop. Holden was Jenna’s high school boyfriend. He broke up with her when he joined the military, crushing Jenna’s hopes. After completing his service, Holden returned to Kentbury to work at his family’s winery. He struggles with PTSD. Jenna and Holden are forced to spend time together when Holden helps Jenna after her delivery van breaks down in a snowstorm. This novella addresses sensitive issues as both characters work for a healthy relationship. The characters are very sympathetic. I received a copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

It is important for her floral shop that she can deliver flowers for a wedding so having her vehicle leave her stranded couldn’t have come at a worse time. If that isn’t bad enough the only person who can help her is the same man who broke her heart when she was a teenager.

After his military career ended Holden returned to his hometown a changed man. Seeing Jenna again brings up the feelings for her he has never forgotten, and she makes him want to be the man she needs which means dealing with his past.

This is an emotional second chance at love story between two people who are both dealing with turmoil even though the reasons are very different. It was wonderful to see the evolution of Holden as did what was necessary to make peace with the past.

The author takes us on a road trip.
Twenty years have passed.
So much loss has occurred and life was one struggle after another.
Misunderstandings and a lack of communication is at the heart of this loss.
A storm brings the main characters together...who ever said storms were bad?
Descriptive words give the reader a sense of tranquility. The beauty of falling snow and the cold it brings with it. You can feel it and it makes you look for warmth.
Upon reflection the author gives us a diary sense of the past and present.
A long struggle for both, no more "what if's" but a resounding "we are".
Claudia Burgoa tears you apart with beautiful words but then puts you back together again
"WOW"

Holden and Jenna were sweetheart when they were younger. Then he left her, he went to the service. He never answered her letters. He read him. So she went into a deep depression and thought he didn’t care . She inherit the flower shop in Kentburg. She was trying to get the flowers to a wedding and it was a storm and her van broke down..Holden came to a rescue, but she act like she didn’t know I’m at first. They had a night together., he knew he needed to get some work done on himself from being in the service so after that night, he left for a year to work on his PTSD. Find out if after a year they can make it.

This is the 6th book in this impressive series, and this is Holden and Jenna’s story.
Holden is Jenna’s first love, and the one who broke her heart. When Jenna is stranded in a snowstorm, it is Holden who comes to her rescue, but will they get a chance to rekindle their love?
This is a well written fast paced, quick read, and easy to read story, which is an emotional roller coaster, with forced proximity, second chances, heartbreak, an age gap, humor, witty banter, healing, engaging and relatable characters, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, small town romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Second chances are often the sweetest.

Holden and Jenna don’t have the best history, but when Jenna is stuck in a snowstorm, a van full of flowers waiting to be delivered to a wedding, Holden is the man that is there to save her. Things don’t go according to plan, but it does give them the time to sort through the mess that was left between them when he left Kentbury for the Air Force. This book is a quick read that is full of all the love readers could want, balanced with some past demons the characters must learn to live with in order to have the future they deserve.

I love going back to Kentbury, and in my opinion, this one was much more emotional than the previous books in the series.
It’s been many years since Holden left Kentbury, but now he’s back and when he has to save his childhood best friend when her car broke down in the middle of a snow storm, he has to cross a bridge he didn’t even knew about.
His time away from Kentbury was hard and it left him with PTSD. With the help of Jenna, he is finally willing to work on himself and to give them a chance together.
This is my favorite book in the series, as is brought out the emotional writing I’m more used to from Miss Burgoa.

I love visiting Kentbury and this on was no exception.
This close proximity/second chance romance will not leave you disappointed. Holden and Jenna are given a second chance at love.
This one was beautifully written and a little heartbreaking at times, but I was cheering them on for their HEA.
Would you trust the guy who broke your heart to be the one to put it back together again? Definitely one to check out.
