Casey’s beginning
Not a favorite character at the beginning of Vortex, and always seeming a little on the sleazy paparazzi side, this look back at Casey’s origin story is more terrifying than any of the natural disasters in Mr Feldman’s apocalyptic tale of the end of…Los Angeles (or the world).
Seems a shame that after all of that, she never stopped resorting to her training, but at least she’s pursuing a better life.
Blessedly free of details of the actual encounters and never too deep into the despair of such a life, Trafficked is its own horror thriller with a hopeful ending. Brace yourself.
