A Twist Of Lemon by Havoc Wilde
I'm going to start off by saying that this is the first book that I have read by this author and I am obsessed. From page one I was immediately hooked and didn't want to put this book down. I had to keep reading to know what was going to happen next.
Atticus comes home to find his best friend's daughter in his house. He isn't sure what's going on but he makes it his mission to figure out why she is there. She tells him what's going on and he tells her that she can stay with him until he can figure out what is actually going on.
Enter Ezra, him and Atticus are in a relationship. As soon as he meets Lemon he starts flirting and knows that Atticus has some sort of feelings for her even if he won't admit it at first.
What starts out as revenge and a contract turns into so much more! The way that Atticus becomes so dominant in the bedroom I couldn't get enough. The spicy scenes were so hot and I couldn't get enough of them. I loved the relationship dynamic between them because you could feel the love and affection they had for each other.

I'm lost. Did I read the same book at the rest of the reviews? Maybe I skimmed too much of it. The plot was lost on me. I get the main concept: dads best friend and his playboy starts as revenge but turns into something more, but I am confused on everything else. The brother, his family? What is the deal with that? Am I supposed to believe that the murder and note was from St Pierre as well? That seems odd if his goal was to turn the best friends against each other? What is Atticus's history? You can't mention it then never bring it up to explain again. Then daddy dearest comes back and all is forgiven but then "but daddy I love them" (talk about little mermaid vibes) and he just leaves but will also help her friend who was mentioned once or twice and now pops back up with a stalker that is all we get? Honestly, there is soooo much missing from the plot that I can't give it more than 1 star. That star is reserved for the spicy scenes. Thankfully Wilde preludes that this is not an accurate representation of bdsm but has darkish moments. Felt like this was someone's fantasy from a dream that was missing pieces after they woke up.

This book was not all sunshine, it was more gray and gritty. I wouldn’t call it a dark romance, but it lurks in the shadows. There’s a touch of taboo, a MMC that plays the role of the DOM, and not one but two older males that take over and dominate the FMC life.
I jumped on this ARC after reading one of the authors other books, the list of tropes, and a couple teasers. It didn’t disappoint, although it did take me a minute to really get into it. I felt myself really drawn to Ezra, and at times I didn’t really like Atticus at all. But by the end I liked him just the same!
I enjoyed the dynamic between the three of the characters. Lemon started as a revenge plot to them, but quickly turned into more because she was the missing piece in their relationship. They all had their own role in their poly romance, and it worked perfectly for them because they balanced each other out. Although it was a rough start.
Ezra was by far my favorite character! His protective nature! The banter and bratty side of him! Also the way he loved and cherished Lemon from the first moment he saw her. He knew that she was special and he was instantly drawn to her. I loved that he cooked for her and taught her how to cook. He fought for her. And the way that he was always there to support and bring the softness back into the moments that Atticus made to rough or harsh. He was able to read Lemon so well, and I loved that about their relationship so much!
The way that the guys made Lemon feel beautiful and secure in herself and her skin might have been my favorite part. She was able to grow into herself through their love. I loved that they made her feel confident, comfortable, and loved. Even though they did break her completely at one point. This book will definitely put you through the wringer emotionally, so check those trigger warnings!

Read this randomly and I think I should’ve done a little more research first😭😭 I give it a 2.5 because it was SPICY 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ and I enjoy that but if you don’t like spice this is not for you! I liked this but if we’re being honest there’s not much of a plot which is fine but it has to be said. I liked that there wasn’t a 3rd act breakup or stupid drama. I wish we got to see more development/learning in the end for Lemon and I really wanted to see more of the soft side of Atticus. I would recommend this if u like a freaky moment!

This was a quick read it had my attention from the beginning. This is perfect for the dark romance readers that want something lighter with some darker leaning themes.
These three while different complement each other. You can absolutely see the connection from the beginning.
Atticus or Uncle Atti is all business and controlled he is also fighting between his revenge on Lemon’s father and wanting to protect her. With Ezra we see a completely different side of him while still controlled they have a deep relationship.
Ezra is the playboy and likes to push buttons he sees her as something more than revenge and with his connection with Atticus he tries to bring that point across and struggles between wanting to protect her from Atticus’s wrath and obeying him.
Lemon who is a mix of the two likes to have fun but is also all business because she knows her dad is innocent. She also knows that this and them is what she truly wants.
It is a whirlwind and had me on my toes. I also appreciate how her father reacted because that was the most realistic moment in a why choose I have ever read. That little text message between him and Lemon at the end I am hoping we get his story. This is apart of the HavocVerse and we do have a little mention of my favorite brothers the Blackwoods I am disappointed in myself for not catching on to who John was until that moment but I was so into the story it didn’t even register.

First time reader of this author and I can confidently say it was a wild ride. From the dedication alone, I knew this was going to be an explosive story of 3 people in different parts of their lives, coming together.
Atticus is Daddy Dom. He is the leader of this trio and takes care of what is his. He is the sounding board for all of them and may seem in control of them but knows that his only weakness’ are Lemon and Ezra.
Ezra is the playboy brat of the group. With his wicked charm and crass innuendo’s he’s definitely the heart of the group. He may smart off to Atticus to rile him up but he has a deep love and devotion to him. He softens up even more for their girl Lemon.
And last but not least is Lemon, their girl. She is the missing puzzle piece that they didn’t even know they were missing. She’s sweet and also Atticus’ best friend’s daughter🤫. With her father’s arrest and nowhere else to go, she seeks refuge in Atticus’ penthouse, unknowing that all is not what it seems. She gets the chance to have freedom by submitting to both Atticus and Ezra.

I don’t think I’ve ever read anything like this. MMF is hot enough already, but H. Wilde outdid my imagination bc oh wow.
Lemon (I love that name so much) is in need of help due to an unexpected situation and who would be a better option than Uncle Atti? Only to realize that delicious Atticus - a magnetic, powerful, mysterious man; is trouble and temptation in a handsome package buuuuut said package is a surprise. 2x1 lol. Ezra is another league of his own brand of trouble and mischief. Gosh. I loved him so much, he brought the balance to the throuple IMO. I adored how soft he is with Lemon, and Atticus was so dominant with both of them. Truly perfect. Atticus was trying so hard to resist his lemon drop but I guess her juice was too flawless to forget… hah.
And like okay, we already know there’s more to smut than your typical scenes right ? Right… well, the toys scene is going to live rent free in my head forever. The descriptions had me blushing like crazy. Anyways.
I loved reading A Twist of Lemon, please be mindful of your own TW. But don’t miss out on this sexy, easy-to-read book.

Holy hotness! This is a brat filled, super sexy, race to lock the door because you definitely need to be in a room where you can read one handed, pleasure filled treat of a read. It is literally one of the hottest why choose romances ever, has a contract that will make your jaw drop, possessiveness dripping from every page, that off limits best friends daughter thing that is right in all the wrong ways, a playboy that can charm the pants off anyone, the in trouble and innocent woman who doesn’t stay that way for long, and it’s fire right from the start. It’s got a slice of danger, a little betrayal, and a whole lot of oh my dang, and it can’t be put down and pages can’t be turned fast enough as Atticus and Ezra make Lemon all theirs.
All the hotness aside, this is a great read about submission, desire, want, and love. Atticus needs the control, it’s his love language, Ezra and Lemon need to submit, it’s their safety and their comfort, and when the three of them are together it’s just dynamite. It’s most definitely a whole lot of racy fantasy’s come to life, it’s bending, breaking, and molding someone into your perfect pet, it’s exerting the perfect amount of control but still letting each of them thrive as their own person, and it's honestly just a fantastic read that gets your heart racing, has characters that are each endearing in their own way, and gives you a really satisfying happy ending.

Havoc did not disappoint with this book!! I am obsessed with anything she writes and this one will have you invested from the very first page. If you are looking for a fast pace, with some oh so delicious spice and two bratty pets, this is your book!
Atticus has a need for control in all aspects of his life, Ezra is a bratty businessman only with Atticus, and sweet Lemon has no clue what she got herself into after finding herself broke and homeless. She caught Ezra's attention and realized Atticus wasn't too far behind with his wants and needs. Needing help with her dad's case, Lemon looks to Uncle Atti for assistance to prove he is innocent. This is exactly what Atticus needed to get Lemon on board and join them for some fun.
There were so many twists and turns, it added some delicious suspense to their story and I was here for it all. Atticus, Ezra and Lemon bring the spice and banter to this read from the start and their chemistry will have you swooning with want. Now, there were some questions that were left unanswered, so fingers crossed we get another book. And the fact she mentions my baby daddy Blackwood in this book, I was literally screaming!! #IYKYK Must read!!

This is an age-gap, dad's best friend MMF romance. It has all the good tropes! When the heroine, Lemon's life falls on hard times, she has no choice but to move in with her father's wealthy friend Atticus. What she doesn't know is that Atticus wants revenge against her father and wants to use her as a tool in his revenge plot. Ezra is Atticus' lover, and they are both quite taken with Lemon. They give her a choice, submit to them and their desires or she leaves their house, destitute. What started out as a heavy imbalance of power starts to slowly, even out as the two men become just as enamored with her as she is with them. And then they seem to seamlessly fall into their perspective roles in the poly trio. I love reading age gap stories and I adore obsessive and possessive male characters. This was a spicy entertaining story and I loved it and would definitely recommend it to everyone who loves these tropes.

I meaaaaaaaaan wtf.
Excuse me but what happened? All of a sudden one week later we have a stalker, a public scene, and them all are all over each other. Also a murder??

I thought we’re going step by step, this was supposed to be my cuppa but I think Sonic was the main sponsor for this book.
I was excited before she started peep toming at them, and the main MMC losing that aura I thought he’ll be keeping throughout ( I love him btw), ummm which I don’t think this act will remain, or them both FMC MMC2 keep snarking at each other with in the intimate ACT!!! Talk about an the ick, I thought that was not bratty at all. Them smiling, and laughing sarcastically, or talking amusingly at her while the she talked is horrible! Why was that?

I was excited before she started peep toming at them, and the main MMC losing that aura I thought he’ll be keeping throughout ( I love him btw), ummm which I don’t think this act will remain, or them both FMC MMC2 keep snarking at each other with in the intimate ACT!!! Talk about an the ick, I thought that was not bratty at all. Them smiling, and laughing sarcastically, or talking amusingly at her while the she talked is horrible! Why was that?

Let me tell you one thing about this book. The spice was spicing and I was on fire for it! I have read several books with scenes of MMF, but these guys take the cake.
This is my first experience with an MMF story and while it took a minute for me to get used to the dynamic (this is all me), I still highly enjoyed it. Ezra and Atticus are total opposites and the way Ezra finds ways to annoy Atticus made me laugh. I liked how Atticus and Ezra each had their own relationship with Lemon, but then there was a relationship as a group.
This book had me hooked from the start. I read half of it in one sitting. I love Havoc Wilde's writing and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
Also, I didn't miss the peek-a-boo from out favorite Blackwood boys.

Well, this was a deliciously fun and spicy romp. Havoc Wilde writes great spice and went hammer on this one. This story follows Lemon, a down and out college student, Ezra, a club owner and restauranteur, and Atticus, a billionair and Daddy Dom.
I loved the forbidden aspect of the story what with Lemon being Atticus's best friend's daughter. The high spice was simply edible, and I devoured it along with the underlying tension as the trio found their footing.
Ezra was my favorite of the group. I LOVED his witty charm and all the innuendo he dropped left and right. Lemon may have been the puzzle piece Ezra, and Atticus didn't know they were missing, but Ezra just brought all the fun and that soft edge to round out their dynamic.
A Twist of Lemon was a hella spicy romance with a great blend of banter and sweet moments. If you're looking for a spicy fun timie with a bit of tension, you need to grab this one.

A twist Of Lemon was an amazing read with lots of twist and turns. Havoc Wilde does not disappoint on bringing the spice to us!! This was a perfect MMF, dad's best friend + lover, age gap story mixed with all the feels!
When Lemon learns her father has been arrested she has no one to turn to except her dad's best friend, Atticus. He takes her in and helps her through this and then he learns of his best friends betrayal to him. Atticus immediately starts a plan to use Lemon as his pet along side his lover, Ezra. Ezra and Atticus both agree they want her and give Lemon an ultimatum. Lemon chooses wisely to be used by Ezra and Atticus. When they start this, it is a completely physical attraction which turns into Lemon being captivated by Atticus and Ezra and vice versa.

She obviously hesitated but in the end, knew it was the best option. Lemon, that girl is fierce but the absolute sweetest. She was definitely the missing puzzle piece, Atticus and Ezra needed in not only their relationship but their life as well.
Ezra is just trouble waiting to happen. He pushes Atticus's buttons and is an extreme brat at times but of course he softens up only for Lemon.
I really loved all three of these characters and their chemistry was off the charts!!

This was a fast paced and really smutty story served with a side of intensity! Atticus, Ezra and Lemon bring the heat, right from the start, with their interesting dynamic and their scenes.
From Atticus’ need for control to Ezra’s bratty side, it made for an interesting read. I really appreciated Ezra’s switch tendencies. He made me chuckle when he was bratty to Atticus, his replied were quick and witty. And then, just as quickly, he would turn so protective of Lemon and was the sweetest.
With twists and turns at every opportunity it added elements of suspense and intrigue to the darker side of their story. There were some questions that were left unanswered by the end that I would love to get the answers to. The ending hints at the beginning of another story and it left me hoping it happens.
If you enjoy stories high on the smutty side, this book might be for you.

I really enjoyed this book. It is a taboo, age-gap romance with two brats and they were hilarious. I loved their antics and how they kept Atticus on his toes. The sass that both Ezra and Lemon had made me laugh out loud and you could tell they exasperated and entertained Atticus. I also really enjoyed how Atticus and Ezra brought Lemon into their relationship and it felt like she had always been there. Their protective nature was enjoyable and I liked the little bit of suspense and a little bit of drama there at the end. The spice was good and felt natural. Overall, this was a really enjoyable, spicy story.

Daddy Atti aka Atticus may be older than Lemon and Ezra but he has no problem keeping up with the young guns. And putting them in their place (right where he wants them) This is a steamy mmf. Honestly my favorite part in the whole book was probably the most wholesome part. Ezra takes Lemon out to a market and just the way blend together seamlessly was perfect. Then to end it at home making diner for Atticus. The giggles, the banter, it was so swoony. The banter through the whole book is amazing and on point with all Havoc books.

This book was absolutely fantastic!!! I loved Atticus, Ezra and Lemon so freaking much. I loved their dynamic both all together and separately. This book was such a perfect read. I loved watching Lemon navigate this new normal in her life after losing pretty much everything. It was fun to watch Atticus go from it is temporary to permanent and fighting to keep their relationship. I loved bratty Ezra seeing him stir the pot and intentionally pisses Atticus off was hilarious and Atticus’ reaction was priceless!! He definitely gave off beg “daddy” energy!

A Twist of Lemon, while filthy as f#ck, was domestically fluffy compared to Author Havoc Wilde's other books. Ezra has my bratty heart forever. His dramatics and constant need to stir the pot and get on Atti's last controlled nerve made me giggle. The love and care these two men gave to Lemon was so beautiful. Atticus and Ezra had a strong relationship built from trust before they added Lemon to the mix, but adding her made them all blossom and filled a need that they didn't know they needed.
"I remember the drugs, the blackouts, waking up in strangers' beds with no idea how I got there. The constant fear and self-loathing. Atticus saved me from that, Lemon. He gave me structure, purpose. Love, even if he rarely says the words."
Atticus, with his need for control, bled Big Dick Daddy energy. He might have doled out the punishments to his pets but he also provided the most exquisite aftercare. Truly Chef's Kiss.
I was super excited when the Blackwood boys were mentioned. Specifically, the bat shit crazy one, AKA my sweet baby, Penn Blackwood.

I hope you like your boyfriends who are also boyfriends a little bit older and a lot spicy. A suspenseful hot read with very sweet moments throughout. I really enjoyed the dynamics and how well the characters all suited each other.

Whew talk about a wild ride. I knew just from reading the blurb I was going to be taken on a wild and hot af ride and this book didn't disappoint. I recently found this arthur through her Wicked series and fell in love with them and her writing, so when I saw she was releasing this book I knew I had to read it.
I absolutely loved Daddy Atticus phew the dirty mouth on him and when you add Ezra his sub/boyfriend to the mix there won't be a dry panty to be found, and Lemon who hasn't a clue as to what she's in for, she's just a bit hesitant, but that soon changes.
Definitely need to read

I ate this book down I couldn’t get enough of them and the TENSION, and CHEMISTRY was definitely so good, I love me some havoc books!
The romance and plot was definitely giving I was hooked from the first chapter I love a good age gap, and dad’s best friend trope and this one delivered
I love how Ezra taught her how to cook and how both men made her feel beautiful, I loveeee their banter so much it was everything, at first I didn’t really like Atticus but by the end he started to grow on me cause you can see how he loves them and would do anything for them

@authorhavocwilde already knows how much I adore her world and characters and Lemon, Ezra and Atticus are now part of that love.
I loved Ezra! I loved his playful banter and brattiness. The moments of him cooking for and with Lemon in the kitchen were so cute and honestly just made me adore them!
Atticus oh this stern gruff man. There were times he made me mad but I also understood where he was coming from with his actions. This man would do anything to protect those he loves and that is Ezra and Lemon.
I loved the snippets of the Blackwood brothers as well 😏

Excuse me ma’am but this had zero business being a standalone because I need more!! Also I finished it waaaaaay too fast. ATOL is definitely one of my top books for 2025 so far that’s for sure and I’m going to not so silently beg for more of Atticus because well duh. He is definitely daddy and I’m entirely jealous of Lemon getting to be in the middle of the man meat sandwich of Atticus and Ezra. Now if only my dad had a hot best friend because I wouldn’t be sorry for going there LOL.
