masked man ?? stalker ?? assassination attempt gone wrong ?? best friends to lovers to years apart back to lovers ??? when he talks you through it ??? OH I’M IN 😭😮💨
besties this was hot, this was suspenseful, this was unhinged, and did i fucking eat it up ?! YES !!!
i loved the way piper and blade just fit together. they’re so funny together and they’re just perfect 🥹 piper always had a secret dark side and when she thought she lost her best friend, nothing was the same again. when she found out she had a “stalker” miss girl was all for it 😂 i wish that secret stalker was a bit more dragged out until she found out who it was but i still loved it !! blade is every bit still obsessed with piper. this man spent years recovering from his missed murder attempt just to get back to piper. he spent years planning and making sure everything was in place for when he finally showed up. and when he did 🫣 i was rooting for them so hard !!
as with every prequel, novella, short book, i will always wish it was longer !! i hope there will be a book two because i NEED to see them get revenge and just paint the town red some more ❤️🔥 these two light each other’s flames in the dark and their history is so packed. i need more of them terribly !!

I have no idea where to start, but this book has me hooked and I was definitely left craving more. I knew it would finish on a cliffhanger, but it doesn’t mean I don’t want more. I loved how this book made me feel hot under the collar a few times, whilst enjoying the protectiveness of the stalker, but it also made me cry and enjoy the plot twists too. It’s dual POV, so you really get to know both sides of the story and how the characters are feeling.

If you crave a dark story with unwavering love, an unhinged obsessive bond, scorching chemistry, and lots of sex you will love this one. I was not sure what to expect when I came across this book, as you never know if you will connect with a new to you author, but I have to say I loved the depth of the characters and how well matched they were, as well as the use of dual point of view that allows the reader to get a fuller understanding of the characters psyches, the unpredictable but solid storyline, and the excellent writing overall. I’m blown away! Lola Knox will for sure go on my favorite author list. "This is my honest review of an advanced reader copy."

Boy did I ever get more than expected with this one! The storyline went on a journey I didn't see coming. Loved it all though! Blade and Piper are truly ride or die with each other. Blade is like his name- deadly, dangerous, but can also save you. Who doesn't want a boyfriend that is psychotic and completely obsessed with you, right? Piper is reckless, but wants to show Blade her love and dedication to him in every way she can. You just can't go wrong with a good dark stalker book and this is just that, with even more to offer!

If what the description for the book states, is a HFN, then I am anxiously awaiting the next installment. Piper is a lot smarter and stronger than she is given credit for. Blade is, well, I’ll let you be the judge! Not the rinse and repeat stalker.
I’m curious to see what happened to 5 of the 6 years he’s been gone from her life. I was definitely not expecting the turn of events after they finally come together.

Dark & Dirty
Just finished reading this novella and wow… I was hooked from the first page. It’s a fast-paced dark romance that had me fully invested the whole time. The tension, the obsession, the spice—this is a full 5-chili pepper read. So much smut packed into such a quick story, and the ending left me desperate for more (in the best way).
Honestly, it was the perfect book to pick up after finishing a long one. Quick, hot, and totally addictive. I definitely want to read more from Lola Knox!

This is an entertaining, dark stalker romance book that captivate your attention and holds it throughout. The storyline is intriguing and dramatic as the elements unfold. The characters are well written with steamy magnetic chemistry. I enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed this and it was written well. I love that it’s a second chance romance ams rhe revenge plot. The main characters are very cute with each other in a twisted way. My only complaint is that it wasn’t long enough, I love how everything played out maybe just a little more tension or descriptions.

Short dark and twisted is the best way to describe this book. Both of the MC’s are completely unhinged which made for some funny moments and spicy scenes that had me feeling 😱🥵 all at once.

the plot felt very disjointed to me and there were a lot of things that didn’t make sense. why wouldn’t Piper confirm Blade’s death? why would Blade stalk her instead of confronting her when he thought she abandoned him?

If I could give this book at 10/10 I would. It is soooo good. Just the right amount of spice with an AMAZING plot. I laughed, cried, and kicked my feet. Piper and Blade are amazing. Favorite book couple.

I wasn’t sure about it at first ngl. The transition of time felt a little shaky, however the Bonnie and Clyde act had me howling and I liked the way she was more unhinged than him. And the 🌶️ was excellent.

I definitely enjoyed this quick smutty read !!! I loved Blade and Piper and their banter 🙂↕️🙂↕️ ! I’ve been trying to find more novellas to read and this was honestly really good !!!! I hope there’s a second book to this because the epilogue left me questioning a couple things 👀
