Rate this book
Liz was an ordinary housewife and mother, with secrets in her past. When trauma hits her family, her past comes home and she is face to face with the love of her life that she thought she had lost forever. Does Liz dare to tell Tom he is her childs father? Did she dare tell her daughter?

Tom had no idea he had a daughter. He is completely stunned to learn the whole truth that tore the two of them apart so many years ago. Even though he had moved on, he never forgot Liz or the love they shared. Their love is rekindled against all odds. But will fate be kind this time?

Tammy, Toms wife, was killed in an earthquake; or was she? After over a year passes, someone claiming to be Tammy finds Tom online. Could this really be Tammy?

Writing is a passion for me. I have enjoyed writing from the heart and using my imagination. The freedom to be the person I chose to be and in the locations I wish to travel. I have lived in North Carolina all my life, however I have enjoyed some travel away from home from time to time.

This book was gifted to me from author in exchange for an honest reveiw! This book is about a woman and the trials and tribulations of her life and second chances at love. The story is heart warming, scary and at times funny. The woman was dealt a lot of bad cards but always managed to work through them. There is some grammar issues but no more than other books ive read. If you haven't read this I definitely would it is worth your time.

Liz got pregnant at a young age and her parents made her give up the baby. When she married the first time her husband helped her get her daughter back. After her and her husband divorced she met a man that she would eventually marry. They had two kids together. They were happy together but suddenly it seemed the world was under attack and there were chemicals in the air killing people. Their family was not unaffected. During another tragedy Liz ran into the love of her life. The one she never forgot in a church.

Tom was in love with Liz when they were younger but their parents kept them apart. He eventually ended up marrying someone else. He could never fully love his wife they way he did Liz. They had one daughter together. After a natural disaster takes both his wife and daughter from him he goes to the only safe place he sees which is a church. He cannot believe it when a woman who tries to comfort him ends up being his long lost love Liz. They stay together to try to find a place to move on with their lives. Meanwhile they try to piece together all the lies they were told in the past that kept them apart. They start to rekindle their love when Tom gets an email from the wife that he thought was dead? With Tammy back will Tom and Liz be able to be together?

My opinion: I gave this book 3.5 stars because there are some editing issues with this book. But do not let those issues distract you or keep you from reading a wonderful book. This is a great and heartfelt book. This couple went through more pain and suffering then I could ever imagine going through. There were parts that had me in tears and there were parts that had me laughing. There was a deep love and passion between Tom and Liz. It keeps you at the edge of your seat wondering what else could possibly happen to this family. I would definitely recommend reading.

Good story

I received this as a gift from the Author in exchange for an honest review.

Normally I don’t read books like this that often, but I am glad I did with this one. While it wasn’t spot on, it did cover a lot of rough topics that are near and dear to me. It had a good plot, and although it had some parts that were boring, it’s one I would suggest to anyone that loves this type of story. The characters are well rounded, seeing a way through adversity and finding a way to be happy.
