I love this comic, and I am not happy that my newspaper does not have it leaving me no option but to go on-line to read the strip. This is a good collection. However, I think it could use some editing/organization. The book is a series of strips that have been published in newspapers. In many cases, there are more than one strip on each page and I sometimes had difficulty figuring out where one strip/storyline ended and where another began. I think this could have been fixed if more care was taken not o just cram it all in. However, this is the first time I have read something like this on my Kindle Fire, so that device may be the problem, since I have never encountered this before. This book contains the quintessential Nate—the short boy who envisions himself as a super hero, a Lothario, a brainiac, etc., who gets into all sorts of different situations that are just outright funny. The book is laugh-out-loud funny, but I think most of Big Nate’s strips and other books are also. I think anyone who enjoys a good laugh, who enjoys this strip, or who enjoys other comics will enjoy this one. It will definitely provide a good break from other events in life. I received this from NetGalley to read and review.
