this was a really interesting read and for a debut novel, this is great! i was hooked from the 1st chapter, got a lil bored until i hit the middle/end, and i liked the ending for the most part. i don’t think the book was boring by any means, i think i was just looking for more action as it is a horror book. but ig it’s also labeled as a southern gothic thriller, which isn’t packed w action. there was lots of imagery, which was all really good and deep. i reallllly loved all of the Christian links and all the quotes abt time tho!!! a really spooky book w a fun plot and there were some mysterious supernatural aspects that kept me on my toes.
