The writing is bland, to be honest, and often repetitive. The actual "hauntings" are told with little interest. But, there is history of Ireland, along with contact information for each place mentioned. I think this book would be a neat travel guide, in a way, for someone visiting Ireland and looking for less traditional spots to go. In terms of reading, however, I recommend just skimming.
