I have one question why is this is short? I mean honestly, these books are so short you almost ask what's the point. The writing was good, the concepts were fine, and the first story was actually pretty interesting (seriously, I could read a full-length novel on that). But why the length? If the author had just added 30 to 40 pages more to each one and they would have made great novellas. At least then the price would have been justifiable.
Anyways, 2.5 stars because while it was varying degrees of okay, the length had me confused and I prefer my dragons to be sentient. Oh and I'm rounding down because even though this was on KU, the price put on their books has me pressed.
Three very well written stories, that were different in many ways. Each story had its own plot, it’s own ‘monster’, if you want to call them that. Each story, had a different type of captive, making each story creatively unique. I enjoyed reading each of theses stories!
I liked the first story about centaur and I could see the story's potential of developing into something longer. I got bored on the second story and didn't even bother to read the rest.
