Olivia works multiple jobs to try and support her family with their ever increasing debt. Harvey is someone you do not want to owe money to yet Olivia's father owes him an exorbitant amount. Once Harvey realizes Olivia is the daughter of this man, he sees it as a chance to make Olivia's life a living hell. While outside tension grows from Harvey's competition, there is also an ever increasing amount of tension within his personal life and he must find a way to reconcile the past Olivia with the present one, or risk losing it all.

While I liked this book and thought the book had a lot of potential, I don't feel like I got the full impact of enjoying the story as I spent a large portion of my reading time trying to figure out jumpy character POVs (i.e., a chapter will be listed as Harvey but it's really from Olivia's POV) and why some scenes felt like hardcore déjà vu. I also found myself constantly questioning certain parts of the story like "Why is Olivia the only one mentioned supporting the family?" or "Why is Harvey still so angry and resentful towards Olivia after all this time when it only lists a single minor interaction between the two in High School?".

OMG this was a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Olivia and Harvey meet in the office where she work at but she never knew that he was her boss at that time. But the chemistry was sexual and the physical attraction spicy tension and they couldn't fight the temptation any longer. One night with him will change her life for ever and what about the rumor around the office. How could long could they keep their romance a secret? And how would the people reacted to this relationship.

It won’t take you long to get emotionally involved with Olivia and Harvey’s story. An enemy to lovers story with plenty of drama and angst. The plot is not new and one that you’ve seen for a long time. High school enemies who reconnect when he becomes her boss in order to repay her father’s debt. But I love the way, Iris Blake adds her own twists and the amazing characters she crafted. A great book that’s hard to put down. A happy ending you’ll like and no cliffhanger. I read a complimentary copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

I will take Harvey any day any time even though he is still a bad boy. Olivia and Harvey's story is like no other. They were enemies in high school and after several years of not seeing each other bam he is back and this time he wants what is owed to him. I felt like this page turner of a read really kept your heart beating and fingers turning the pages quickly. I liked everything about the storyline and really believe Iris has a great book right here waiting for you to read.

Harvey tries to make it hard for Olivia to stay and work. Will the relationship between Harvey and Olivia become something more than a hate relationship? Will Harvey and Olivia find love and happiness?

Fantastic Enemies to Lovers romance!

Harvey and Olivia are nemesis they have always had a hate each other relationship. Her father owes him money and he is in their home to collect, and he humiliates her family in the process. To pay off the debt Olivia takes a job from him, and it starts them along their intriguing path. This story is filled with dramatic twists and turns and their banter had me all caught up in them.

Olivia knew Harvey from high school, they were not friends - but enemies.

Olivia's father got himself into debt with Harvey; Harvey offered Olivia a job to help pay off her fathers debt. Their distain for one another turns their relationship on ends when feelings start getting involved.

It’s a quick, simple read. The MMC was a bit rough around the edges, especially when coming to terms with his feelings, but when he got in his feelings, he was tenacious. The beautiful FMC was smart, fiesty, and could hold her own. This book has two strong characters, intrigue, slow-burning heat, and drama that add so much to the storyline. Man oh man. I almost gave up on this book. Harvey pissed me off in the beginning but as I continued to read it got intriguing. I’m glad they got through all their issues to finally get their HEA. Hate that it had to come down to Olivia being snatched. Do recommend to read.

I really wanted to like this. It has a lot of potential, but there's a lot of editing to be done.

Character names are switched and POVs are mixed up. Who the hell is Eva?

There is a story that can be developed by expanding on Olivia's past. Exploring more banter between Olivia and Harvey. Filling us in in Marcus.

Olivia and Harvey are enemies. Olivia’s father is in debt to Harvey. Harvey offers Olivia a way to pay off the debt by working for him. They don’t like each other but the more time they are together, they can’t stop the feelings. This was a great book to read.
