Reese and Corelli finally said, “I do” and I’m feelin’ a little despondent. 🥺🥺🥺 I have enjoyed the Jareau clan since their debut and I’m truly heartbroken this is the last we’ll hear from Jamison, Cartel, Walker, Alaina, Reese, and Piggy. What started out as five siblings has now morphed into an entire second generation of Jareaus that are 19 kids strong. While I love this family down, it’s definitely time to bid them adieu and enjoy the occasional updates we’ll get in future KB books. 🥹🥹🥹
“I will not be a baby mama or girlfriend again. I’m a wife or a widow.” I know that’s TF right Corelli!!!
For nearly two years we’ve opened our books, kindles and hearts to the Jareau family and they have undoubtedly left a lasting impression on us all.
From Jamison and Liv’s first dance to Coco Jones’ ICU to Reese finally taking his L on the chin when I came to Ms. Alicia and falling for Corelli, these characters have become like family.
We have endured near death experiences and a spoiled influencer become a whole farm wife! The babies are growing up and will soon become the new adults. Fooling with the Jareau’s Pastor Daniels, Callie and Chymantha won’t ever go out of business.
The last of the clan is getting married and it wouldn’t be complete if what has become tradition didn’t repeat itself for Corelli and Reese. It’s the cake tasting, the support circle and words of wisdom at the rehearsal dinner. It’s Anais singing and granny cutting up and lastly it’s the siblings acting a whole fool when they link up.
KB, thank you for showing us what a strong black family that rides for each other looks like. It’s because of the Jareau family that we know what solid black love looks like. We learned what it meant to be kind, patient and most importantly long suffering! Shout out to the support system that has guided these siblings, their spouses and kids in such a way to where everyone is finally living their HEA.
Many tears were shed and plenty of gut busting laughs were shared! We watched love bloom and it did so deep in our souls. A player was buried and another stripped bare. In the end we realized that there was nothing like the Jareau family!
My favorite part of this book was Isaac and Ms. Alicia’s update! It absolutely made my heart smile and while some may have felt it wasn’t necessary I 100% would have loved a novella on them.
I can tell KB was at the end of her rope with this series because this book was the most lackluster wedding book for me and very predictable. This was definitely a “stick a fork in me” release and now we can officially say goodbye to this family!
I think I expected a little more…But, hell what else really is there….it’s At least 10 books in this series….i guess KB was a little tired of trying to pull from this family.
This book gave me everything I needed. I laughed so much from this book. It’s always a pleasure reading about the Jareau family and if this is your first read of this crew, I highly recommend reading the rest of the stories about this family.
The Jareau family is the embodiment of unconditional love. They laugh together, they pray together, they eat and fellowship together, and they stay with the jokes for each other. Reese is one of my favorites and I love his genuine spirit and the ability to find a joke or the good in anything. He provides that brevity and will have you laughing constantly. He just truly enjoys life and loves his family and I love that he maintains being a child at heart. I love the banter and camaraderie with this family and between Reese and his siblings, both by blood and in-laws. I also love how this family embraces those who have been brought into their family as if they were birthed into the family as well. I loved the growth and maturity in Reese without making his seem uptight and too serious. I also love him with Corelli and that they were able to get to their happily ever after.
This was the perfect ending to this series and I’m sad to see them go. I wouldn’t be mad at getting a story for Bianca and Elgin and an update on this ever-growing Jareau family in this future because this family just makes my heart smile with their unconditional love for each other and their banter.
I do not have to tell you this book is amazing just make sure you click buy read and leave that 5 star review. I do not want the Jareau family to end 😭 this was a great ending to a series. Corelli’s vows were beautiful because she tried to fight Reese but that man told her what was going to happen 🤣. Kimberly you did it again, but if you want to swing a Christmas book I won’t be mad 🤣🤷🏾♀️😘!
Can't believe this is the final wedding in the Jareau family. The Jareau's are a family that you will love instantly. Their love for family, the close bonds, and how they cater to their significant others makes you feel like you know them personally. Reese and Corelli were meant to be. Age ain't nothing but a number, and Reese definitely proved to Corelli what he had to offer and determined he was to make her his wife. I was glad they got their happily ever after, surrounded by an immense amount of love and family.
If I weren’t already in love, Ms. Kimberly Brown would sure make me want to fall in love! Reese and Corelli have a beautiful love story and I cried like I was apart of it. I’m sad it’s the end of the Jareau family. The series started just the way it ended, beautifully.
Hmmm, 🤔 this was/is a consistently peculiar observation. On May 8th, I read “Love Me Like You Do: A Jareau Family Wedding”. Which was book 4 of the Jareau Family weddings series. I was disappointed but still deemed the review as a mediocre read nonetheless. Now déjà vu, five months later “A Couple of Forevers: A Jareau Family Wedding Finale” was ironically the fifth final wedding of the youngest Jareau sibling. Unfortunately, the readers/loyal followers of this famous fictitious family only to received was abridged synopses, recycled hodgepodge of Jareau bantering & urban colloquialisms for nostalgia sake. Honestly, similar to my thoughts of Alaina & Roosevelt’s wedding as the only female Jareau sibling. That weddings should have been spectacular. Yet her wedding celebration to Roosevelt was a vanilla bean affair 🥱. Likewise literary history has replicated itself! Reese & Corelli’s wedding was cute but also vanilla bean boring. …”A Couple of Forevers” book title felt random 🤷🏾♀️‼️It’s wasn’t the couple’s endearing mantra? Ledisi wasn’t his/her’s nor their favorite artist? Ledisi’s music wasn’t predominant during the wedding or at the reception?…What the correlation here? Hence, vanilla bean boring. Only this time the book/story/wedding was more beans less nilla 🤷🏾♀️‼️Yes, I’m disappointed but still enjoy reading the few updates & the seeing Jareau family in general. However, I’ve read much better from Ms. Brown🤔‼️ …farewell Jareau’s👋🏾😘!
The ending to the Jareau Family series is all I could have asked for and more. It was wonderful to see how much Reese loved his girls, from Corelli to Bellamy and Anyla Reese. This book had moments where I was cracking up laughing, and moments that had me shedding tears because of the emotions it brought out. I loved the updates from the rest of the characters in the series as well as the banter, roasting of family members, and all of the love in the family. It was great to see the growth in Reese from the first book in the series until this last book even though he still didn't have a lick of sense at times. Even though Corelli was older, you could see that she had matured into the love that Reese gave her which she deserved. I hate to see the series end, but Ms. Brown brought it to a close with a book full of love, laughter and emotional feelings. Great job!!
My Reese Cup finally made it to the altar, and my cheeks still hurt from all the smiling and laughing I did while reading this book. Reese has always been my favorite (as I’m sure he was for others), so him finally getting his forever was everything! If you don’t know from my review of Nothin' Like You, I was not a Corelli fan mainly because I didn’t like how she was playing with bae’s time, but she got herself together, and I love how she and Bellamy gave him all the love he could need. Reese has always been a handful so to see him grow and mature was a thing of beauty. This is the last book of this series, and I’m sad because Kimberly Brown crafted this family perfectly🥺. We experienced so much with them, but family, love, and acceptance never wavered. I know we’ll see pop-ups in future books, so I’m happy about that, but I truly don’t want to part with the Jareau family!
What an amazing wedding story! The Jareau family has been one the best family series that I've read. I've enjoyed watching each and everyone in this series grow/mature.
Corelli and Reese's story was just as sweet, sexy, family oriented, romantic, fun, and full of life as one can get. I loved flashbacks to how the two evolved and their preparations for forever. The love between those two and their family & friends has been so refreshing. I envision myself as part of this family.
I'm so sad to see the series end and hope that there will be updates, as this family grows.
The final sibling is getting married Reese cup that the one man all the update on the sibling was crazy rose got Alina pregnant with twins and that was crazy and it was a boy and a girl Jaja still can’t get over the nickname Reese told her daughter to call him uncle daddy thing which is crazy and I can’t believe that had a baby girl and he was like gim me my baby and he was very hands on with his daughters and it’s real crazy . They wedding was beautiful to read about because she still had to deal with his crazy azz.overall they had a great wedding and crazy reception and I recommend you read this book 10/10

My Ressie!!!! He was definitely worth the wait! I loved how you dropped his book on us but it was only in true Reese fashion lol! So first, the playlist is PERFECT! The party songs are definitely Reese in his playful element & the slower songs show his lover side! I love him and Corelli! They were meant for one another. To see more growth in him with Bellamy & now Anyla Reese was so heart warming I teared up ALOT! I love the family banter as well as the fact that this is a PRAYING FAMILY! Oh! Unc may have won but Ms. Alicia is always his love lol 😉
One thing Kimberly Brown gonna do is make me cry! Reese and Corelli wedding story was nothing short of beautiful! The love Reese showed Corelli was so damn sweet. Whew! So glad my girl realized she deserved all his love!!! And his love for his girls was beyond beautiful! It’s always great catching up with all the family and the friends! While I am truly sad to see the Jareau series come to an end, Reese was the perfect way to end it!!! 10/10! ❤️
I absolutely loved this. I love this family so much and I am so sad to see this series come to an end. The baby boy got married. 💓💓💓 This is one of my favorite fictional families. They feel real to me. Do yourself a favor and start at the beginning with Where Love Blooms Enjoy this family's journey of pain and joy, rain and sunshine. For me, there are always rereads! Happy reading!
I’m in love with Kimberly Brown’s storytelling abilities. I’m in love with the Jareau family. I’m in love with the way their family expressed their love. Im so sad this series is over, it’s one of my favorite romance series now. I’m really just sad it had to come to an end. I’ve learned so much about myself and my relationship with reading this series. This wedding was just as great as the rest of them. I highly recommend. Spice was 3/5. Love love love!
I felt some type of way when I read…’the end.’ It can’t be over with the Jareau family. Of all the siblings Teese has been my favorite. He was always himself never switching up he brought joy and sadness to all the situations. The fact that K. B. saved the best for last was the perfect ending. I will miss all of them abad this wedding was surrounded by nothing but love.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series and soooo glad it ended with my favorite brother, Reese!!!…He was definitely the life of the party and the family clown which all families need 1!!!… I feel like I watched this family grow up!!!… This was a very written series and there were many gems dropped throughout the series and the prayers were so heartfelt!!!…
I’m not ready to let this family go!!! I actually finished a series (technically two counting the weddings). The ending always get me. lol
I will be re-reading this series at least yearly. lol
This family is simply magic! lol I love every character and story separately and together.
Reese was down bad for Corelli from the beginning! He didn’t give her no choice. Lol I love how all the kids flock to him. “Uncle Daddy” as Kyler says. lol
I chose this rating because I enjoyed every part of this book. The Jareau family is the type of family that's a true blueprint of what a loving, God fearing family should be. The joy and laughter I had reading Reese and Corelli 's story brought joy to my heart. I would tell family and friends about this book. Great job K. Brown, A fan forever Lady T.
The love and connections in this family is always beautiful to read about. I always want more and knowing that this is the last Jareau sibling to marry is bittersweet. Reese and Corelli finally getting their happily ever after was awesome and fun to experience. The family shenanigans is always a blast. Hopefully this isn't the last we read about the Jareau family. Spinoffs perhaps?
Finally the wedding we’ve been waiting for Reese and Corelli. The love that was felt in the book was through every couple and their relationship. The prayers from the fathers of the bride and groom was heartfelt and it was adorable how each in-law accepted their new son/daughter. The wedding may have closed the chapter of the Jeanie family but I’m sure they will pop up again.
Once again Kimberly Brown has given the people what they wanted. This book was the cherry on top to the Jareau family finale. I tried to read slow so I could really enjoy this final book of this series. I was laughing so hard I cried. I love the banter all the siblings and their partners have. It was so good catching up with all the characters. Must read
There is never a dull moment with the Jareau family, and no matter what they are always going to make it out and have a good time. It is so bittersweet this series ending but it is amazing to have them all be happy, married and living the lives they wanted.
This definitely one of my top series without a doubt.
The Jareau family beautifully exemplifies Black excellence. If you’ve followed this family’s journey from the beginning, this is a bittersweet moment.
The last Jareau sibling finally has his happily ever after. The story captured both laughter and heartfelt moments, allowing readers to see the growth of Reese and Corelli as they navigated love and life.
Kimberly Brown, In my opinion, each wedding was wonderful and perfect. Reese's wedding was amazing only because of him. He is always clowning around but for him to have my eyes running baby oh baby. To see him as this serious guy was everything to me. I know you are about to give the kids life or whatever you do I'm ready. One of the best series 🙌 👏 👌 ❤️ 💙 ♥️
Actually eating this 3.5⭐️ because this tied up the Jareau Family Series in a nice neat bow. It’s the novella that details the engagement and marriage of Reese and Coralis. It was great to read. Thankful That the author gave us this last look at the family.
